Gtr Premium With Existing Factory Warranty Until Oct 2015 And With Cobb Tuner on 2040-cars
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
What's to say about the GTR? Since 1984, I have owned almost every Porsche 911 model - still have a F430 Ferrari, Lambo Murcielago and a Lotus Elise. This car is absolutely amazing!!! The best driving car ever I have personally owned! Stepping up to a newer, more powerful version dictates that room in the garage is required. This baby has to go. But very firm in the pricing.
I did not sign the "Nissan waiver" for the transmission as most people did. So, if you launch this car - and I never have- it is covered under the warranty!!! That alone is worth tens of thousands of dollars others have had to pay when the transmission breaks. Just google the bad news in this issue. The non disclosure form I still have "unsigned". Existing Nissan Warranty extension from factory was purchased at delivery for $3,500. You can be certain with a "zero deductible gold plan", all mechanical issues are covered. Car never has had any mechanical issues and has been properly inspected and serviced. Coverage until Oct 2015 or 75,000 miles. It is transferrable and will go with the dsale of the car. Just inspected. Brakes are at 7/32 and 8/32 respectfully. 1/4 of the way through their life cycle unlike others who slam on the brakes and cause massive repair bills. Car can be tuned for any octane from 87 to 103. Cobb lists for $1.350 plus tax. Included in the price of this car. Given the existing warranty, which will save thousands of dollars in repairs, and the Cobb tuner, how could you not like the price? It is priced to sell. Don't delay if you can afford it. Serious, buyers only. Then drive for the experience of a life time where the car can teach you how to drive better. |

Nissan union wants French to stop meddling with Renault alliance
Thu, Dec 3 2015Nissan is getting some unexpected reinforcements in its ongoing battle with the French government over its involvement in Renault. Its Japanese union, which has traditionally been a very hands-off entity, issued harsh criticism for the French government's attempts to assert control over its alliance partner. According to Bloomberg, this is the first time in 16 years that Nissan's union has weighed on the company's affairs, and it's stating its position on the matter in no uncertain terms. The union called France's attempt at scoring double voting rights within Renault "unacceptable and against the intended spirit of the Alliance." "We support the numerous attempts of Nissan to engage with the French government to find a balanced and constructive solution that will benefit and strengthen the Alliance," the union said in a statement obtained by Reuters. It's unclear what impact the union speaking out will have on the current power struggle between Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn (shown above) and the French government, but we doubt it'll contribute to any quicker of a conclusion. Foreign automakers pay from $38 to $65 per hour to non-union workers
Sun, Mar 29 2015As leaders for the United Auto Workers gather in Detroit for their Special Convention on Collective Bargaining to work out the negotiating stance for this year's new labor agreements with the Detroit 3 automakers, what they most want to do is figure out how to eliminate the two-tier wage scale. However, the lower Tier 2 wage has allowed the domestic automakers to reduce their labor costs, hire more workers, and compete better with their import competition. As it stands, per-hour labor rates including benefits are $58 at General Motors, $57 at Ford, and $48 at Fiat-Chrysler – a reflection of FCA's much greater number of Tier 2 workers. The Center for Automotive Research released a study of labor rates (including benefits) that put numbers to what the imports pay: Mercedes-Benz pays the most, at an average of $65 per hour, Volkswagen pays the least, at $38 per hour, and BMW is just a hair above that at $39 per hour. Among the Detroit competitors, Honda workers earn an average of $49 per hour, at Toyota it's $48 per hour, Nissan is $42 per hour, and Hyundai-Kia pays $41 per hour. The lower import wages are aided by their greater use of temporary workers compared to the domestics. Automotive News says the ten-dollar gap between those foreign camakers and the domestics turns out to about an extra $250 per car in labor, which adds up quickly when you're pumping out many millions of cars. That $250-per-car number is one that, come negotiating time, the Detroit 3 will want to reduce, as the UAW is trying to raise both Tier 1 and Tier 2 wages. Another wrinkle is that the domestic carmakers are considering the wide adoption of a third wage level lower than Tier 2. Some workers who do minor tasks like assembling parts trays kits and battery packs already make less than Tier 2, but the UAW will be quite wary about cementing yet another wage scale at the bottom of the system while it's trying to fight a bigger battle at the top.
