2011 - Nissan Gt-r on 2040-cars

I am listing my 2011 Nissan GTR Premium for sale. The car has a Switzer P800 package, which boosts the power to 800HP on 93 pump gas. The kit was installed at Automotive Connoisseur Group in San Diego, a very reputable shop that installs many Alpha kits on GTRs and aftermarket performance kits on a handful of other exotics (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi, etc). I have receipts for all of the work done there. For those of you not familiar with Switzer, they are the top aftermarket shop for GTRs (switzerperformance.com). I am the second owner, the first owner was my close friend so I have been around the car throughout its lifetime and know the history of the vehicle stone cold. This was never used as a track or drag car and it has never been launched. The car was used for spirited weekend drives with the local GTR / car community. The car has spent 95% of its lifetime in CA and now resides in Dallas, TX (my residence). I've ultimately decided to move onto another platform hence the sale.

2016 Green Truck of the Year, Commercial Green Car of the Year finalists
Sat, Oct 24 2015Not only are commercial-grade haulers getting more green love lately, they're getting more different kinds of green love. The 2016 Green Truck of the Year, the second time the award has been handed out, is being decided by judges from Green Car Journal and the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show. This year the award is joined by the new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year, which crowns one of the little vans increasingly used by small business as cargo and delivery vehicles. The Green Truck of the Year finalists are the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax (pictured), Ford F-150, GMC Canyon Duramax, Nissan Titan XD, and Toyota Tacoma. The first three of those were on last year's list, but since they are completely new or upgraded for 2016 - Ford with its all-aluminum body, the General Motors twins with the new diesel Duramax engine - they qualify for entry again. The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel won last year. The Commercial Green Car finalists are the Chevrolet City Express, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, Nissan NV200, and Ram ProMaster City. Nissan Zeod RC crash test looks like crushing the tip on a pencil
Fri, 16 May 2014Nissan has already showed us the 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, augmented by an electric motor, that sits in back of the ZEOD RC headed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. At the ZEOD RC's other end is a carbon fiber crash structure that has to be tested against an immovable object, and Nissan has seen fit to show us that, too.
You know what to expect if you've seen a crash test before, but the really pointy nose on this car reminds us of a Faber Castell HB pencil being sent to its death. Better yet, it's in slow motion, and you can watch it below.
2014 Rogue kicks off production as 10,000,000th Nissan built in Tennessee

But Nissan has just announced a double-whammy: Not only has Nissan's assembly plant in Smyrna, TN, just built its ten-millionth vehicle, but that ten-millionth vehicle just so happened to be the first Nissan Rogue to be built in the United States.
The milestone arrives after over three decades of production that has included such nameplates as the Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Leaf, Pathfinder, Infiniti QX60, Xterra, Frontier, and now the Rogue. The latter crossover has swelled into Nissan's second best-selling vehicle, with demand growing by nearly 50 percent from 2010 to 2012. Now redesigned for 2014 and built locally, Nissan is evidently banking on demand continuing to rise.
