Hollywood Studio Nissan GTR -triple black. You are bidding on a car that has been called the "fastest street car in north L.A." by a very well known racer. The car is carefully modified with the proper Nissan-engineered MODS and tuned perfectly on November 24th ,2013 by Performance Z in Canoga Park California (One of the most reputable tuners in L.A.) . I bought the car from Chicago Motor Works via Ebay 2 years ago and have loved it every minute I've driven it. I own a studio in Burbank California (www.loyalstudios.tv) , and drive it once per week from my house in Thousand Oaks to my studio. Otherwise it is garaged and covered.
I also occasionally take it out at night to Muvico (where it always gets parked in the front) or a nice restaurant (where the valets also put it right in front). I didn't really know the cult status this car has until I started driving it and saw people's reactions. People literally hang out their windows with their phones to take video of the car while I drive. You get thumbs ups and nods everywhere you go. I've had special cars in the past including a show-stopping triple black '69 Charger RT , and none of my other cars have gotten the attention that this GTR gets.
Now lets talk about performance. I run 91 Octane pump gas in it. The Mods are as follows: HKS Blow-off valves. HKS EVC unit (electronic valve control). COBB ACCESS port tuner. Modified mid pipe (I will include the original as well). Of course every once in awhile, another supercar will challenge me. I usually don't take the challenge, but for the record, this car has beat: Ferrari 458, Porsche 911 Turbo and a Lambo Gallardo .
The all wheel drive and the tuning make this car a true performance beast combing handling with the awsome power it produces.
The Car has also been featured in an upcoming music video with Platinum artist Ayaz (see pictures).
The car looks great but is not perfect. There are a few scratches here and there, but nothing that you see unless you get up really close and start scrutinizing. Tires are new Pirellis with only 1000 miles on them. The interior is clean and so is the headliner and Luxury mats. The car cover is included as well .
All the accessories boxes are included as well as 2 sets of keys.
Feel free to email me at bob@loyalstudios.tv if you have any questions and thanks for looking!-Bob

Datsun Redi-Go is reborn brand's first concept car [w/video]

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

Nissan's plan for its reborn Datsun sub-brand just got a shot in the arm, as the emerging-market manufacturer has unveiled its first concept car since its resurrection back in 2012. Called the Redi-Go Concept, it looks like a high-riding version of Datsun's recently launched Go hatchback that's been fitted with a few concept car cues (not a bad thing).
The Redi-Go packs LED taillights, Datsun's "D-cut grille" and LED running lights into its Go-inspired body. Funky two-tone 15-inch wheels add a bit of cheek to the overall design, and in our minds look quite good, despite being so small. The ruggedized front and rear bumpers, as well as the sill and wheel arch surrounds add to the Redi-Go's rough-and-tumble aesthetic. We like that Datsun has kept the overall package short, giving the Redi-Go a 92.5-inch wheelbase, rather than creating a lifted version of the upcoming Go+. There are no specific mentions of the Redi-Go's mechanicals, although we'd wager that a production model might share the 1.2-liter engine and five-speed manual found in the standard Go.
While it might be easy to dismiss a concept like the Redi-Go in America, there's no denying its importance to the Indian market, which is decidedly more limited when it comes to available bodystyles. "If we were to make a car like Datsun Redi-Go Concept it would be a segment creator in India, an aspirational car that at the same time is attainable, a car that would be within reach of the first time buyer. This concept shows how serious we are about reinvigorating the market by catering for the needs of a growing class of Indians who have the chance to own a family car that will enable them to enjoy a new sense of independence," said Vincent Cobee, the global head of Datsun.

2013 Nissan Leaf [w/video]

If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It
Look at the 2013 Nissan Leaf - even one parked next to a 2012 model - and you'll be hard-pressed to spot the differences. Changes and updates have been made, but you have to know the details to tell. It's sort of like listening to a hipster tell you why Interpol and The National have completely different sounds.
Nissan says it didn't reinvent the Leaf because what the company has created is working. Over 25,000 Leafs have been sold in the US - 62,000 around the world - since the car went on sale in late 2010. That may not sound like a lot, but it's heads and shoulders above any other all-electric car available anywhere. The car has its detractors - boy, does it ever - but Nissan knows it's hard to argue with real-world success.

Nissan Cube dead for 2015

Wed, 09 Jul 2014

Another class cut-up has graduated from our motor pool. The Nissan Cube's indefatigable weirdness was likely both its chief selling point and its Achilles Heel, but Autoblog sources say that after a six-year run in the US, the niche player has been scrubbed from the Japanese automaker's lineup.
The move is hardly unexpected - there was confirmation from Nissan Canada that it was pulling the plug on the asymmetric little front-driver in its market back in May, and sales have not exactly been sparkling here in the States, either. In June, Nissan shifted just 336 Cubes, down 23.8 percent year over year. So far this year, Nissan has sold 2,294 units, a sales pace off 30.9 percent versus 2013. At its peak in 2010, the Cube remained firmly a niche vehicle, selling 22,968 units.
Nissan North America's Dan Passe, senior manager of product communications, maintains that "We are continuing to sell the 2014 Cube and we haven't made an announcement about future model plans," but Autoblog sources indicate that an official announcement will be coming in the next couple of months, and the Cube has been conspicuously left off of an exhaustive 2015 lineup "Charting the Changes" announcement released on Tuesday.
