I have a 2009 Nissan GTR Premium super silver (premium color) w/ white interior for sale.  The car has 32,XXX miles on it.  The car has had some mods done to it.

  • Cobb tuner installed with TCM module
  • Full intakes Full custom catback exhaust from Magnaflow
  • Window tint / painted roof
  • Interior lights swapped with LEDs
I also have the GTR floor mats included, and also the IPOD hookup cable.

Great car, super fast, sounds amazing, handles like a dream, VERY fun to drive, and gets tons of attention.  I bought it as a performance replacement for motorcycles for me, and has worked out great.

I have done all the maintenance that has come up, and I have only had one warranty issue.  The gas gauge backlight was flickering so they replaced the entire instrument panel. The car was a daily driver for a bit, so is not a garage queen.

The imperfections are minor, but for sake of full disclosure I will include them. There is a little dent and scratch in the back left bumper from where someone backed into me in a parking lot and didn’t leave info.  There are some scratches on the driver side door sill from getting in and out, and the corners of the seats are a bit frayed.  The shift knob some of the chrome has peeled off.

I really love this car, but need to get some work done to the house, so it has to go. The previous owner had it dynod at ~510rwhp and 10.9 in the 1/4 mile.  It comes with a custom tune, but it wasn’t updated to work with the newest transmission mapping, so I just use the default Cobb performance tune now.  You will NOT be disappointed in this car. Included with the sale, if wanted, are the original exhaust, and some replacement transmission fluid / oil / filters.  Along with the Cobb + TCM and all maps.

2014 Nissan Serena offers big flexibility in a tidy package

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

In America, Nissan attempts to slake our kinschlepping needs with its slow-selling Quest minivan, but in Japan, where consumers seem a lot less reluctant to buy MPVs, there are a lot more models for every size family and budget. Nissan itself offers no fewer than six such minivans, including the popular Serena seen here.
Technically a mid-cycle facelift, this new Serena continues to offer seating for up to eight people with a gas-only or mild hybrid driveline delivering power to either the front or all four wheels. This Tokyo Motor Show reveal takes that familiar package and lends it a freshened look, complete with a revamped front fascia with less chrome frosting, optional LED headlamps, new LED taillamps and new alloy wheel patterns. In addition, the Serena receives new active safety technology, including lane departure warning systems, Around View Monitor with Moving Option Detection, Driver Attention Alert, and so on.
With only a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, you might expect the Serena to be smaller than today's American minivans, and you'd be right - it's roughly the size of a short-wheelbase Gen III Dodge Caravan, making its seating capacity particularly impressive. Said another way, the Serena is likely to stay forbidden fruit, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it in our gallery.

2018 Ford Expedition vs other big SUVs: How it compares on paper

Fri, Nov 10 2017

With our Alex Kierstein rightly impressed in his first-drive review of the new 2018 Ford Expedition, we decided to dig a little deeper into the numbers, and we came up with the spreadsheet below to highlight how the new 2018 Expedition compares on paper to its main full-size SUV competitors: the 2018 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban (and therefore the 2018 GMC Yukon), 2018 Toyota Sequoia and 2018 Nissan Armada. We also threw in the new, even bigger 2018 Chevrolet Traverse since, as you'll see, its massive dimensions should put it on the radar for anyone who needs loads of passenger and cargo space but doesn't care as much about towing. A few notes about the chart above. First, the 6.2-liter V8 that's included with the new-for-2018 Tahoe RST trim level is the standard engine on the GMC Yukon Denali. You can apply most of the Tahoe's numbers to the entire Yukon and Yukon XL lineup. Second, though we highlighted categories where the Traverse led, we also highlighted the runner-up full-size SUV, since this was ultimately about that segment. Traverse numbers are broadly applicable to the new Buick Enclave. Can a car be lifted using rubber bands?

Sat, 19 Jan 2013

It's quite amazing what it takes to lift a car. We already know the feat can be accomplished using just a pair of phone books, but what about rubber bands? To the Internet! A video series appropriately titled "Will It Lift" attempted to find out by using a massive crane and a Nissan Micra weighing less than 1,800 pounds.
Doing a little math, the trio determined that it would take 180 rubber bands to support the car. A metal bar was placed through the window openings and another was place atop the car, and then attached together using the rubber bands and hooked to the crane. Now these aren't any special rubber bands or anything. They're just eight-millimeters thick, but the stunt is testing the rubber bands' power in numbers.
We're not going to spoil it for you, so scroll down to check out the video of the stunt.
