You are bidding on a YELLOW, 2002 NISSAN FRONTIER SE LONG BED CREW CAB 2-WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK. I am the ORIGINAL and ONLY OWNER of this truck that I purchased in OCTOBER, 2001 and have put 130376 MILES on it up to now. This truck FEATURES POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, CRUISE CONTROL, AIR CONDITIONING, a BOSE 7 SPEAKER, 6 CD CHANGER STEREO SYSTEM with SUD-WOOFER with 20-30K MILES left on the 255/70-16 BF GOODRICH TIRES (PLUS FULL-SIZE SPARE), TOP LUGGAGE RACK, 6 FOOT LONG BED (with bed liner), it has 4 DOORS with ROOM for 5, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. This truck is selling in AS-IS CONDITION, mainly because of the following problems: the transmission is bad, with only 2nd gear and park working; the front of the hood has a dent in it; the front window has a crack in it; the cruise control does not work when the headlights are on; the air conditioning has a leak; the engine leaks a little form the gaskets; the belts need to be replaced; there is a medium tear in the driver seat upholstery; the cd player is in need of repair; failed a smog check (probably due to the trany problems and related sensors) and is currently unregistered; a broken rear tail light. This truck will NOT BE SHIPPED, and is for PICK UP ONLY, especially since the transmission only has 2nd gear, and cannot be backed out of the driveway unless lifted from the rear. Despite it's current condition, this truck still has much more life, and to the right person will be dependable transportation for many years to come, so BID with CONFIDENCE.

Watch Nissan's autonomous Leaf in action
Sun, 06 Oct 2013Getting its semi-autonomous Leaf legalized in Japan was just the first step. Now, Nissan is giving demonstrations of what its fully autonomous car is capable of at this year's Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) show - Japan's equivalent to America's Consumer Electronics Show. To show off the possibilities of its technologies, Nissan had an oval track set up at the show giving rides in an autonomous Leaf to the media. Even Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and Toyota CEO Akio Toyodo caught a ride.
Nissan has since released a couple videos of its CEATEC demos, with one designed to look like a news report. In this video, you can watch the car go around the track and navigate intersections and road hazards. The second video shows Ghosn riding in the car, and he hints that Nissan's goal of having an autonomous vehicle in production by 2020 might be more of a worst-case scenario. Watch both videos and read through Nissan's official press release below.
Nissan working on unspecified improvements to Carwings in Leaf EV
Tue, Jun 24 2014Fly a little higher, Carwings. Nissan has been using the communication system as a way for drivers of the battery-electric Leaf to do things like use a smartphone start the charging process remotely, check the charging status or find nearby charging stations. The service was one of the tools Nissan was offering to newbie drivers of the first US mass-produced electric vehicle to better familiarize themselves with ideas like recharging your car from miles away. Now, three-plus years into the model's lifetime, Nissan is looking to get more out of Carwings, Wards Auto says, citing Nissan North America executive Robyn Williams. Specifically, Nissan is hoping Carwings will eventually be able to communicate information about the battery's health, or lack thereof (i.e. degradation) to the driver. That issue was made clear a couple of years ago when Leaf drivers in hot-weather locales such as Arizona said their batteries were losing capacity at a faster rate than advertised. Nissan North America spokesman Brian Brockman, in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen, would only say that the automaker "is always working to determine ways to offer more value to customers via telematics systems like Carwings," but declined to be more specific about any particular technological advancements. Nissan debuted Carwings in late 2010, and, among other things, the concept was novel because it let Leaf drivers compare driving efficiency with other Leaf drivers (think of it as a real silent hypermiling contest). The feature had been used as a telecommunications system on a number of Nissan models in Japan for years before being introduced on the Leaf.
Pontiac Aztek enjoys rebirth thanks to Millennials
Fri, Sep 11 2015Apparently, Millennials – those between 18 and 34 – aren't afraid to look different on the road, and they like performance, too. A new study by Edmunds is discovering some surprising vehicle choices by this group. Among them, the long-derided Pontiac Aztek is getting a new day in the sun with 25.5 percent its buyers coming from this generation in the first half of 2015. For comparison, Millennials represent an average of 16.8 percent of used car purchases. The Aztek is slowly shaking its reputation as a styling abomination, which seems tied to its appearance on Breaking Bad. The show premiered in 2008, and the Pontiac has been on this list for four of the past five years, according to Edmunds. It even led the pack in 2010. A recent Retro Review from MotorWeek also showed that the crossover wasn't always so hated. While it's still a shock to see the Aztek on any popularity list, the awkward-looking crossover only ranks sixth among Millennials. The vehicle with the biggest portion of buyers from the generation is the Dodge Magnum with 27.6 percent. According to Edmunds, the bluntly styled wagon is especially popular in Detroit and Chicago. The Chrysler Pacifica comes in a close second at 27.3 percent. When it comes to used cars, value and utility appear to trump just about anything else for many Millennial buyers," Edmunds analyst Jeremy Acevedo said in the report. Young buyers aren't afraid of sporty rides, either. The Subaru WRX has 26.4 percent Millennial buyers to rank third place on the list, and the Volkswagen R32 takes fifth at 25.7 percent. Just a few points lower in seventh place is the Nissan GT-R at 25.4 percent, and the final performance machine in 10th place is the Lexus IS-F with 24.7 percent. Related Video:
