Supercharged 3.3 Liter V6 Engine/5-speed Od Manual Transmission,xtang Tonneau on 2040-cars
Fitchburg, Massachusetts, United States
This 2003 Nissan Frontier King Cab 4X4 SVE is equipped with the supercharged 3.3 liter V6 engine and 5-speed overdrive manual transmission. I bought this truck back in April of last year. Over the past few months the Frontier had its oil pan, exhaust system, swaybar and TPS sensor replaced. Also, I had its oil changed last week and back in October installed an Xtang tonneau cover. The truck is equipped with air conditioning, power mirrors, locks and windows,AM/FM/CD player radio and cruise control. Also,I had a new spare tire holder with chain installed due to the old one being broken. In addition a brand new spare tire and replacement alloy wheel was installed due to the old spare tire and steel wheel being too old. The truck also had a Rhino spray-in bedliner installed before I bought the truck(the best spray-in bedliner money can buy). The 4WD system works flawlessly, the A/C blows cold like it should and the heater will roast you in the winter-ideal given the current cold weather situation we're dealing with here in the Northeast. The bad news is that the driver's side door hinges need to be replaced. The door drops down a little when you open it but it still closes and locks. There are some rust spots on the front fenders, hood and roof. The radiator support needs to be replaced but truck still runs normally like it should. There's also a ding on the passenger's side. Also the interior needs detailing(I may have it done if the truck isn't sold by the end of next week). Please remember that this is an 11 year old truck and some wear and tear is to be expected and the truck is being sold AS-IS,with no warranty expressed or implied. Other than that, the truck is ready to go. Title is clear. Payment is to be made by PayPal,Certified Cashier Check,Postal Money Order and of course,CASH IS KING!!! Winning bidder is required to make a $500 dollar deposit to Paypal. Full payment is to be paid 7 days after the end of the auction. NON PAYING WINNERS WILL BE LEFT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND BANNED FROM FUTURE AUCTIONS. Also, shill bidding and/or bid interference will not be tolerated!! If you don't have the money for it,don't bid on it!!! Buyer is responsible for picking up vehicle at their expense. The truck is also being sold locally on Craigslist so the auction will end early if it is sold. Once it's gone,it's gone!! If you have any questions please call or text me at (781) 249-2349. Ask for Marques(Marcus). |

Ghosn predicts autonomous cars on the roads by 2018, if laws allow
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Things appear to be going well inside Nissan's autonomous vehicle development program. Until now, the automaker believed that self-driving cars would be ready for major markets like the US by 2020. However, Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn is now speeding up that prediction to 2018 in some places, assuming that local laws are ready to accept the computer-controlled vehicles.
"The problem isn't technology, it's legislation, and the whole question of responsibility that goes with these cars moving around," said Ghosn in a speech in France recorded by Reuters. He predicted that the first sales could begin in France, Japan and the US by 2018 and expand elsewhere in 2020.
The alliance has been among the forefront of automakers working on self-driving cars. Nissan has an autonomous Leaf (pictured above) test car that is licensed to drive on Japanese roads. Renault showed off an version of its Zoe EV earlier this year called the Next Two, that could pilot itself at speeds up to 18 miles per hour, and that the company predicted would be ready by 2020.
Recharge Wrap-up: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Finishes AXCR, Nissan Leafs drive 528 million collective miles
Wed, Aug 20 2014The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has successfully completed the Asia Cross Country Rally 2014. The plug-in Mitsu finished first in the EV class, and 14th overall, clocking in at 19 hours, 17 minutes and 12 seconds. For its second year in the competition, the Outlander PHEV used a new suspension with more ground clearance to help it tackle the race's treacherous terrain. Besides the glory of taking on the challenging competition, the rally helped Mitsubishi gather valuable data for EV development. The race took place over 1,367 miles of varied terrain from Thailand to Cambodia. Read more at Hybrid Cars, or visit Mitsubishi UK's Facebook page. Nissan Leaf drivers have driven more than 528 million miles worldwide. That accounts for a reduction of 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions since the EV's 2010 launch. Nissan projects that Leaf drivers will surpass a collective 1 billion electric kilometers (621 million miles) by January 2015, or perhaps even sooner if sales keep increasing. The mileage data was collected through the car's CarWings telemetry. Whether it's battery-electric, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid, electrons will be doing their share to get the well-heeled from place to place. According to an article at The Sydney Morning Herald, PHEVs are "the most promising option." The BMW i8 is a fine example, as is the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid, and Audi and Mercedes-Benz have plug-in plans of their own. Lexus, not so much. Read more at The Sydney Morning Herald. PGA golfer Hunter Mahan has taken delivery of a BMW i3 he won by scoring a hole-in-one. BMW offered a free, all-electric i3 to the first player to score a hole-in-one in the 2013 BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club, which Mahan did on the 17th hole. The BMW Championship raised money for Evans Scholars Foundation. BMW Hole-in-One Scholar Melyzjah Smith, who was awarded a full four-year college tuition and housing scholarship in honor of Mahan's slick shot, was on hand to meet the golfer as he received his i3. Nissan's crowdsourced Project Titan is ready to tackle Alaska [w/videos]
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Alaska still offers Americans the chance to really experience the wilderness, and Nissan is challenging its Titan pickup to its offroad extremes with a little help from its fans. After crowdsourcing a heap of mods, the company is handing it over to two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni to do their worst in the backcountry to see what the truck can do.
Nissan last experimented with the crowdsourcing idea on its Project 370Z in 2012 but might have taken things even further this time. For Project Titan, the automaker let fans vote on 10 different areas to customize on a 2014 Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X. To fit the rugged look, the company covered it up with a custom digital-camouflage wrap with a Wounded Warrior Project emblem and even outfitted its all-terrain camping trailer in a similar scheme. An LED lighting rig was also added to the new bull bar and roof rack to brighten the night. For a just little more grunt, the 5.6-liter V8 was outfitted with a Nismo cold-air intake and Borla cat-back exhaust, and to keep from getting stuck, the pickup got an upgraded suspension with more travel and 18-inch wheels with 35-inch Nitto offroad tires. The interior was also slightly revised with big GPS system and custom embroidered seats.
Now, it's time to see if the truck's mods can handle what the Alaskan wilderness can throw at it. The two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni are just starting their expedition and are expecting snow on the way. Scroll down to watch three build videos for the Titan and read Nissan's official announcement. You can also follow their journey on Nissan Trucks' Facebook page.
