2004 Nissan Frontier Xe Extended Cab Pickup 2-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
Carroll, Ohio, United States
You are bidding on a used Nissan 2004 king Cab pick up truck. This has been my personal vehicle since new. I have been the only driver. This truck suffered a small accident at one time (abt 5 years ago) it damaged the grill and right fender and hood. All parts were replaced with original Nissan parts. This has never caused any issues and it looks as it never happened. I am disclosing everything about this vehicle so I had to list that. This is about as clean as 2004 you will find the carpet etc. all very nice. This was a non smoker vehicle. This truck has sat at my house with little use in the last year or so. My daughter wanted this and I just had it completely serviced with new brakes all the way around, new battery, new tires, etc. then she decided she did not want a truck. Well I have a couple of other vehicles and I must let this on go. This looks just like you see in the pictures and runs great never any issues with anything. Oil changed every 5K miles. Factory bed liner. It has a tool box in the bed (clamp mounted no hole drilled. It had a Reese hitch receiver. It has factory neoprene seat covers installed when new so the cloth seats are nice as are the seat covers. this has a HD radio/cd player Mfg by Dual. Air, Heat, Locks, Windows all work good. I really can not list a bad item on this truck other than the slight dent in the door frame where a tree branch fell on it during a storm (see picture). It does have a small chip in the windshield but it does not have any spiders and has been stable for the last 3years and should not be an issue. Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A These have less than 1000 miles on them`they will be good for another 50+K miles. This is a nice clean truck and a solid running vehicle.PS, PW, A/C, 5 SPEED MANUALTRANSMISSION. I have taken pictures to try to show all but if you have specific questions please let me know. You may look at my feedback on eBay I have no complaints and my descriptions are true to the item. This truck is sold as is but it will absolutely match this description in every way or money back. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks and good luck.

Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
Here's how to follow this weekend's 24 Hours of Le Mans
Thu, Jun 11 2015In the pantheon of motorsports, the 24 Hours of Le Mans stands as one of the great endurance challenges to man and machine. This year's event in France already looks to be one for the ages with Porsche setting record-breaking times in practice and the competition debut of Nissan's front-engine, hybrid racer. Thankfully, there's a massive list of ways to follow this automotive attraction. Reilly Brennan, the Executive Director of the Revs Automotive Research Program at Stanford University, and a friend of Autoblog, has once again assembled a helpful couch-kit to organize many of the options. Unfortunately, the old-school way of just turning on the television might be the most frustrating way to watch Le Mans this year. Fox Sports 1 and 2 are carrying about half the race, but the coverage bounces between them seemingly at random. The broadcast begins on Fox Sports 2 at 8:30 AM Eastern ahead of the 9:00 AM start and lasts there until 12:00 PM. Things don't pick up again until 7:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports 1 for an hour, and the channels swap back and forth more from there. The Fox Sports Go streaming app offers more, but even it stops showing the race a few times. Thankfully, streaming Le Mans is easy. If you can't dedicate 24-hours on the couch, Radio Le Mans lets you listen to audio commentary anywhere with some of the best announcers in the biz. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the governing body for the race, also offers an official video stream in an app for $9.99. For a really low-tech solution, the official Twitter is another choice. Brennan is keeping his list updated with coverage changes. You can also check out and download the spotter's guide (from Nissan) in the gallery above. Enjoy this year's race. If you miss anything, don't worry; expect a full report from Autoblog. In fact, editor-in-chief Mike Austin is attending Le Mans this year, so follow him on Twitter for on-the-fly impressions. Nissan may take control of struggling Mitsubishi Motors
Wed, May 11 2016Update: The reports were largely correct. Nissan will take a 34 percent stake in Mitsubishi for roughly $2.2b. Read all about it here. Reports say Nissan will buy a controlling stake in Mitsubishi Motors, either 30 or 34 percent, for about 200 billion yen or $1.84 billion. Nissan and Mitsubishi motors are currently part of a joint venture, NMKV, to build minicars together. Nissan is also responsible for reporting fuel-economy discrepancies with cars built under the joint-venture agreement, which put Mitsubishi in its current weakened state. Earlier today, reports surfaced that the fuel-economy issues were wider ranging than originally thought. Mitsubishi now admits that all of its Japanese-market cars sold since 1991 could have had faked fuel-economy data. Shares of Mitsubishi Motors have dropped by about half since the scandal was uncovered, opening the door for a takeover. While Nissan is a much larger company, it can benefit from Mitsubishi's 60-percent share of Japan's minicar market. The two companies also had plans to build electric vehicles together in the joint venture. Japan's Nikkei reports that talks are ongoing between the company and that a decision could be made Thursday by the companies' boards. Related Video: News Source: Nikkei Green Mitsubishi Nissan
