2010 Nissan Altima With Only 59,323 Miles. 4 Door, 2.5l 4 Cylinder Car. on 2040-cars
Long Beach, California, United States
Very clean 2 owner car with clean Car Fax report. Current CA Registration until Feb 2015.
The car has a new battery purchased from Costco. Tires are in great shape with plenty of tread left on them. Interior is perfect, it was just detailed. Paint looks perfect except for the passenger side rear bumper has some paint damage. It is unknown how it happened, but there are no signs of any damage under the bumper. 2 key fobs are included with the car! I am listing this car for a co-worker whose elderly mother in law was the 2nd owner. When her health starting failing, the car was transferred to him and his wife, which Car Fax lists them as the 3rd owners. The only thing they have done is driven it from Colorado to SoCal after the mother in law passed away earlier this year. It currently has a clean and clear CA title. Car is currently located at our office in Long Beach off the 710 and Pico. If you would like to come take a look at it during the week, give me a call and I can give you directions. If you wanted to look at it over the weekend we would have to meet you down here! |

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: January 2013
Wed, 23 Jan 2013We've now had our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder for about a month, and some impressions are starting to solidify, while others remain contentious among the team. Most notable among those contentious items is our Pathfinder's paint color, which was chosen by vote among the Autoblog team.
Dubbed Mocha Stone, it beat out Cayenne Red by a single vote. I was a Mocha Stone supporter and like it even more in person than on Nissan's configurator. It's a mature choice that can be comfortably placed in the grouping of silver, white and gray tones buyers routinely choose most often over all the colors of the rainbow offered on cars these days for the sake of attention. Staunch opponents of Mocha Stone on the team remain unswayed. Democracy is a difficult process, people.
Ghosn orders Nissan USA to double sales by 2017
Mon, 13 May 2013Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has just one teensy-weensy request for its United States arm: Double your sales by 2017.
"China was not our biggest, I would say, disappointment. It was mainly the United States. We were expecting a strong year in the United States. It didn't happen," Ghosn said, speaking at a conference after announcing Nissan's 2012 fiscal results, Automotive News reports. Because of this, Ghosn has ordered his US executives to iron out the problems that affected new vehicle launches and to strengthen the company's dealer network.
In 2012, Nissan's US sales rose to 1.1 million units - a five-percent increase, and a record, at that. But the company's overall market share fell from 8.2 percent to 7.7 percent, putting the company further away from its goal of having a 10-percent stake overall.
West Coast labor dispute hampers Japanese automakers' US plants
Wed, Feb 18 2015The ongoing labor dispute between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and port owners along the West Coast is starting to affect more Japanese automakers building vehicles in the US. The issue already forced Honda and Subaru to take the expensive option of airlifting some parts into the US weeks ago, and according to USA Today, Toyota and Nissan have begun doing so, as well. The choice hasn't been cheap, though, and Subaru's chief financial officer estimated that the decision cost around $60 million more per month than sending components by cargo ship. The effects continue to radiate, according to USA Today, and shortages of some models are possible. Honda is slowing production at its factories in Ohio, Indiana and Canada because the automaker doesn't have enough transmissions and electronics for some vehicles. Toyota already cut back on overtime at some factories. Nissan has only seen a small effect from the issue, though, because of its local suppliers. Dock workers and port owners have been negotiating on a new contract since last year, and the union has organized work slowdowns in response. According to USA Today, the automakers could move shipments to Canada or Mexico, but it would take longer for parts to arrive.
