2010 Nissan Altima S Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Greer, South Carolina, United States
2010 Nissan Altima 2.5S Sedan 4-Door I am the second owner, the first was my father. We just drove this car up from South Florida a couple of weeks ago and would love to keep it except we need something a little taller for our first baby :-) This model features a power driver seat, radio controls on the steering wheel, and alloy wheels. It also features automatic power windows (up and down) for both the front driver and passenger side. As you can see in the pictures, the interior is kept immaculately clean as well as the exterior. There are 3 minor dings on the doors that are barely noticeable with no paint damage. There is some scratches on the rear bumper (included in the pictures) which could easily be buffed out. Other than that, the car has never been in an accident and the title is free and clear! I prefer to sell the car locally, either to a buyer in town or to someone who wishes to travel to pick it up. I will consider shipping at the buyer's expense. I will accept cash or cashiers check in person. You must submit a $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of purchase. The vehicle will not be released to the buyer until it is paid in full. If you have any questions or need a picture I haven't included in the listing, no not hesitate to ask! Thank you looking at my listing!! |

Tesla poaches Renault-Nissan communications boss Sproule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014Need another sign that Tesla is growing into a force to be reckoned with? Bloomberg reports it has just snagged high-profile communications boss Simon Sproule from Renault-Nissan to become the EV maker's vice president of communications and marketing.
Sproule is an industry veteran, having spent 20 years at Nissan (where he grew to become CEO Carlos Ghosn's right-hand man). In addition, he logged stints at Ford, Jaguar (when it was still a Blue Oval-owned brand) and Microsoft. Despite all that experience, Sproule is still young, at just 45 years of age, as Bloomberg points out, yet he's held positions in the US, Japan and France over the years.
This is all good news for Tesla, which is in need of a strong spokesman outside of company CEO Elon Musk. It's been battling with the state of New Jersey and its governor, Chris Christie, over direct sales in the Garden State.
Nissan will restore Craigslist Maxima, display at headquarters [w/video]
Sat, 08 Feb 2014Nissan showed that it had a great sense of humor when it bought Luke Aker's beat-up 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE for $1,400 back in December based solely on the quality of his tongue-in-cheek sales video.
Aker's Maxima had been thoroughly driven. It needed a strap to keep its hood closed, had front end damage, a missing turn signal and shredded leather seats. Of course, like Aker said in his ad, the car was still "fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires and an automatic transmission." How could Nissan resist?
After buying the car, Nissan teamed up with MotorAuthority to decide what to do with it. The winning idea was to restore the car to its proper condition and display it at Nissan North America headquarters in Franklin, TN, with Aker's video playing nearby. According to MotorAuthority, the car has finally made it there, and its rebirth will begin soon. Nissan is not sure when the car will go on display.
Nissan buys jalopy Maxima after seeing filmmaker's epic sales ad
Thu, 19 Dec 2013When Luke Akers wanted to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE - yes, the one seen above that needs a ratchet strap to keep the front end from bursting with joy - the Florida filmmaker turned on his cameras and yelled "Quiet on set!" The result is a one-minute videographic homage to mankind's monuments, narrated with all the intensity of a BBC documentary to sell a 17-year-old sports sedan that comes "fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires and an automatic transmission."
Just like the car in question, the ad did its job: Nissan bought the Maxima from Akers and the company donated another $1,000 to his charity of choice. Three cheers to both Akers and Nissan for their work. You can check out the video below, and head to the Ikonik Films site for the humorous print ads that were also part of the campaign.
