I am looking to sell or trade my 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S it has 91861 miles on it but is still my DD. It isn't all highway miles as everyone else claims theirs is, it doesn't get 30+ miles to the gallon as others claim their Altima does (more like 24-28). It isn't beautiful or amazing its just a car and that's how it should be marketed. It has a salvage title from flood damage to the TRUNK, FUEL TANK and FUEL PUMP ONLY. No accidents no issues you can inspect with a fine tooth comb or even take to a mechanic. I bought this car with 57xxx miles on it less than 2 years ago 10/20/2011 and have NEVER had any issues other than a TPMS sensor which is a tire pressure monitor sensor going out. I had the trunk reupholstered, new fuel pump, tank drained/cleaned, even replaced fuel rail just in case at Merchants Tire and Auto center and driven it nearly 35000 miles in 20 months. This is a used car and does have some scratches or dings typical of a car in good used condition. So on to all the good, I have had the full 90k mile service done which includes: water pump and timing belt $980, tune up with new iridium plugs $280, CVT transmission service and filter $360, coolant flush $130 and new Michelin Defender tires with 90000 mile warranty well about 83000 left on them now $670. Why spend all this money to sell or trade it? Well I just moved into a new home and I have to almost drive over the curb to keep from bottoming out the car every time I leave or enter the STEEP driveway. The car is loaded the only features it doesn't have is Leather, Navigation and Sunroof. Ask any questions you would like im pretty blunt and honest Contact me @ 252-256-2299 or email me @ tom_chappell13@hotmail.com

Roller coaster or racecar, which pulls more Gs?
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Looking for a thrill? You're not the only one. You'll find kindred spirits at airfields going up for a skydive, atop bridges and towers with bungees attached to their feet and standing in line for roller coasters at the local amusement park. But you'll also find them in the paddock at the racing circuit.
So what's the commonality? G-force. It's like gravity, only in each of these cases, it's experienced by human invention. But which activity subjects your body to the greatest amount of g-force? That's what Nissan set to find out.
Before putting them back in the cockpit, Nismo sent out two of its young hot-shoes - Jann Mardenborough and Mark Shulzhitskiy - to an amusement park in the UK with a camera and a g-force meter to find out if any of the coasters could produce as much lateral gravitational force as an LMP2 racing car. See what they found in the pair of videos, below.
Nissan exec talks about smaller Leaf, and maybe a CUV EV as well
Tue, Sep 27 2016The Renault Zoe is a popular electric vehicle in Europe, and it gives buyers on the continent a zero-emissions option that's smaller than the Nissan Leaf. Here in the US, Nissan only offers its one all-electric passenger vehicle, but the company might be taking a page from its corporate partner to offer a smaller Leaf in the near future. According to Gareth Dunsmore, Nissan EV European head, Nissan is thinking about both a smaller EV based on the Zoe and larger, all-electric SUV/CUV. "We've invested $5.4 billion in electric cars such as the Leaf, so we need to ensure we're satisfying as many types of customer as possible," he said. "In Europe, that could mean looking towards B-segment hatches and SUVs or crossovers," according to Auto Express. "If we look towards crossovers or the B-segment for the next car, those could make perfect sense." As for what we actually know about the next-gen Leaf, details are scarce. We did get confirmation that a 200-mile range update is in the works, but information on timing and other details are still something we're waiting for. Let's throw the idea of a smaller Leaf into the rumormill and see when Nissan starts talking. The gallery above shows off the Nissan IDS concept, which was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show last year. 2014 Nissan Rogue gives us our best look yet
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Nissan is reportedly fast-tracking the development of its next-generation Rogue crossover, and judging by this latest set of spy shots, the new small CUV is coming along quite nicely.
To no one's surprise, the new Rogue takes the vast majority of its design cues from the Hi-Cross concept that debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and specific elements like the pronounced wheel arches, angular nose, flat roofline and more stylized taillmaps should make for a Rogue that's far more style conscious than the model it replaces. This stronger design language should help the new Rogue to better stand out in the sea of Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 rivals.
There's far more to the new Rogue than just some swoopier sheetmetal, though. This crossover is expected to be the first vehicle to ride on the Renault-Nissan CMF (Common Module Family) platform, an architecture flexible enough to eventually support a host of new products. As we reported earlier, the next Rogue will be built in the US, in Tennessee.
