Offered for sale is an immaculate 2009 Nissan 370z in “Brilliant Silver” with the manual SynchroRev transmission. This car is truly an enthusiast’s vehicle, originally ordered with all of the most desirable options including the Touring Package, the Sport Package, and GPS Navigation.

This car has the following factory options: heated black electronically controlled seats, Bose audio, 19” Rays Engineering wheels, SynchroRev transmission, larger Sport brakes, Limited Slip Differential, front and rear spoiler, Bluetooth and GPS Navigation.

The options on this car take the driving experience to a whole new level compared to a base model vehicle.

The car has been garaged its entire life, and has just over 45,000 miles of primarily highway driving. This car has only been hand washed and has been using exclusively Redline fluids at or before all factory intervals. This car has clay, wax, and sealer applied regularly with only the highest end products, and is absolutely flawless. The interior is cleaned and conditioned regularly as well, and is directly comparable to a brand new vehicle.

As stated, this is an enthusiast type vehicle and has had truly exceptional care, if not for the mileage you would think  the car was new.

This 370Z  has been tastefully modified with the highest quality parts available, and offers an exceptional increase over factory power while still maintaining stock-like reliability. All parts have been professionally installed, and professionally dyno-tuned.

Nissan advertised this car  in stock form as having 332hp and 270torq. The actual stock dyno numbers to the rear wheels were 275hp and 234torq.

The following parts, installed by a professional speed shop, resulted in 328hp and 283torq. The fuel mileage was INCREASED with this increase in power, and presently stands at 21 city and 30 highway. The cost of each modification is listed next to each description:

-Uprev computer dyno tune, runs flawlessly, no throttle response hesitation like from the factory, and runs much cooler with updated fan settings - $1000

-Custom “Speedforce Racing “ stainless headers - $1500

-Takeda Long tube CAI, high temp ceramic, painted matte black to match valve cover - $600

-Motordyne ART Test Pipes, version 3 - $575

-Motordyne M370 Manifold - $585

-Tanabe stainless Y-pipe - $513

-Swift Springs - $305

-Eibach front and rear sways - $330

This car has all stock options and I  will include the stock springs and two rear tires, Michlin 295/30ZR19

This car drives and performs exceptionally well. It makes great power and runs smoother than stock. The engine sounds fantastic, without being obnoxious.

This vehicle is priced very reasonably considering the options and condition. You will not find another enthusiast type vehicle in this condition. It is pristine.

Available for $28,000 with all engine and suspension modifications listed, with factory Sport Rims/OEM Bridgestone Tires and TPMS sensors.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.

Nissan New Micra being considered for Canadian market

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

A new story from AutoGuide is triggering new speculation that Nissan may be about to bring its New Micra to North America. According to a dealer-based source, Nissan is showing off the overseas hatchback at Canadian dealer meetings along with the redesigned 2014 Rogue. The report indicates that the car is expected to go on sale sometime mid next year. Autoblog has learned that, while the New Micra is indeed under study for the Canadian market, it is not being considered for US sales. Our well-placed source tells us that bringing the New Micra to US dealers "just wouldn't make sense."
Bringing the New Micra to US dealers "just wouldn't make sense."
Reading between the lines a bit, that's because Nissan already has a robust small car lineup spearheaded by the Versa sedan and new Versa Note hatchback, along with the compact Sentra. And while both Versa models are generously sized for the subcompact classes they compete in, their low entry price (the sedan starts under $12k) means that pricing the smaller Micra underneath it would be difficult. Given its historically significantly higher fuel prices (not to mention higher vehicle prices and a penchant for small cars), Canada seems like a much more hospitable market for the Micra.

Nissan ZEOD RC stretches its legs for the first time

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

Ever see one of those videos where a baby deer is born and immediately starts walking? Well, this isn't one of those. For starters, the Nissan ZEOD RC isn't exactly a newborn. Nissan took the design of the DeltaWing, gave it a hybrid engine and called it something new. And it hardly started galloping straight out the box, either: this was just a low-speed demonstration run, held at Fuji Speedway where it debuted this past weekend.
Still, seeing the car that's destined to take the first lap of Le Mans under electric power alone actually start up and run is something of a landmark in the development of electric racing cars - even if this is, despite Nissan's best efforts to avoid the term, a hybrid, not a pure EV. The name stands for Zero Emissions On Demand, not zero emissions all the time. But then ZEATT wouldn't make for a very good name anyway, would it? See for yourself in the video below.
