2009 Nissan 370z Rebuilt Title Touring Low Miles Sport Package 6 Mt on 2040-cars
Boynton Beach, Florida, United States
Up for auction is a 2009 Nissan 370z touring with sport package. This car sustained a frontal impact that set of the drivers airbag. The airbag thats in the car now is a ( DUMMY) airbag. The seat belt pretensioners were replaced with original OEM seat belts and are NOT rebuilt or repaired. Front brakes and rear brakes were also replaced with a brand new OEM battery. I have receipts for all the parts replaced. I also replaced all 4 brand new toyo tires. The body work was done 2 years ago by the previous owner who bought this car from an insurance auction. The body parts that were replaced are new hood, left side headlight, left side fender and bumper cover. The Dummy airbag was installed by the shop that did the work and not by me. I have a picture of a diagnostics computer connerted to the car that show that only airbag that is not operable is the driver side. To me its not important to replace the airbag because i always wear the seatbelt and i know they are brand new. It is up to the new buyer to replace the airbag if they choosre to. The interior is in excellent condition with very little wear. The car is a touring model with sport package. Bose sound system, bluetooth hands free, aluminum pedals are all part of this touring package. This car drives amazing just like it did day one. It does not pull to any direction. It is 100% turn key and drive. Fresh oil, new battery, new OEM brakes, new tires. Only 40,320 original miles. The title is a rebuilt title and not salvage. You do not need to do any inspections just register insure and enjoy! Any questions please let me know. Only one key comes with this car!

Nissan Altima and Sentra to get Murano-inspired design redo
Tue, 07 Oct 2014The Nissan Altima and Sentra sedans are both very competent, economical, comfortable and well-equipped ways of getting from A to B. They're also both decidedly boring to look at, which is not a good trait in their increasingly style-driven segments.
To rectify this, Nissan is planning design overhauls for its mainstream, with the Sentra adopting the sportier, Euro-style looks of the Pulsar, according to The Car Connection. While that (sadly) won't mean the five-door Pulsar will come to the US market, fitting the European stylings to the Sentra should go a long way towards broadening the car's appeal.
That parcel of information comes from Nissan design boss Shiro Nakamura, who spoke to The Car Connection at last week's Paris Motor Show.
NHTSA opens investigation into Nissan's handling of airbag recall
Mon, Mar 23 2015In March of 2014, Nissan recalled eight models among its Nissan and Infiniti brands, totaling more than one million vehicles, over faulty occupant classification system software controlling the passenger airbag. The company discovered a variety of factors that would interfere with the system's ability to detect an adult passenger in the shotgun seat, resulting in an illuminated warning on on the dashboard and the passenger airbag not deploying in an accident. Yet 124 complaints submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration since the recall allege that the dealer-installed fix hasn't actually fixed the problem; some consumers say the problem persists after multiple trips to the dealer. The Detroit News reports that NHTSA is opening an investigation into the matter to determine whether a new recall is needed. The occupant sensor has been a bugbear for Nissan over the past couple of years; a much smaller recall for the issue in 2013 covered five of the eight vehicles that were recalled in 2014, and that earlier recall also continued to generate complaints after the issue had supposedly been fixed. At the same time, the company learned that in two instances there was another twist, where the dashboard warning wasn't illuminated but the passenger airbag still didn't go off in an accident. Nissan isn't alone, though, with airbag recalls on a steep upswing across the industry even before the Takata debacle.
Nissan's current Rogue renamed Rogue Select, will live alongside next gen
Sat, 28 Sep 2013Despite the fact that an all-new generation of its Rogue crossover goes on sale in November, Nissan will continue to sell the current model alongside its replacement. The existing C-platform-based Rogue, which will be renamed Rogue Select, will start at less than $20,000 when it goes on sale in January 2014. At present, a base 2013 Rogue S prices out slightly higher, from $20,310, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the 2014 Rogue Select come to market with more standard equipment and simplified trim options. It will continue to be built in Kyushu, Japan.
According to Nissan, the unusual move is "to satisfy demand for the popular compact sports utility vehicle, currently second-highest seller in Nissan's lineup, as well as provide customers an additional choice in the segment." It's hard to hard to argue with the numbers: Nissan cites 2012 calendar-year sales of 142,349 Rogue units in the US, with 2013 sales increasing 16 percent through August despite the vehicle's age.
The strategy may also give Nissan the chance to ask for more money for the second-generation model (which is based on a new Common Module Family platform shared with partner Renault) while keeping it clear of residual-value-damaging fleet sales. The new Rogue looks to be both larger and more luxurious, with an available third-row seat, and it should be more economical to produce, as it will be built in Nissan's Smyrna, TN plant.
