Nissan 350z Performance 6spd Manual 2003 2-door 3.5l Datsun 370z 350 Z 300zx on 2040-cars
Auburn, New York, United States
This is one of the cleanest Z sports car you'll find for sale. This 2003 Nissan 350Z is bone stock and unmolested. It was always adult owned and garaged. It's never seen winter and doesn't have a lick of rust. Your friends and family will be jealous to see you in this ride :)
Everything is a 9/10 if not 10/10. This car has almost 300 HP stock and can easily be built up to 500 or 600HP if you desire. It drives and handles like a true super-sports car. Nissan made the suspension and steering ultra responsive. There is no body roll or delay when making quick maneuvers. I've been a Proud Nissan Z owner for 15 years. I've owned and driven most the Zs in the Nissan line up. And this 350Z is by far the best Nissan has made. Factory OEM Options: HID Headlights, Alarm System Remote Entry, 6 Speaker Stereo W/ CD Player Power windows, locks & mirrors Traction control Airbags, anti-lock brakes, garage door opener Cruise control, tilt wheel, MPG gauge 3.5 liter V6, 6 speed manual, rear wheel drive Aluminum Alloy Rims Aluminum Hood & suspension components And much more! It has a recent inspection & oil change. The tires are new BF Goodrich G Force Sports with only 3kmi driven on them. I have a lot of records for it and paperwork that came from the dealer when originally purchased. It has the original floor mats and cargo area net. the driver's side floor mat has a small hole worn through where the gas pedal foot heel goes. Besides that, they look great. The transmission was just replaced with the stronger and newer Nissan CD-009 that came out of a 350Z with 53kmi. The transmission that this originally came with was notorious for being weaker than the newer Nissan transmissions. It has a new clutch & bearings in it as well! I'm the third owner. The carfax says 4 because the previous owner had a title issued in New Mexico and then once again when he moved to upstate New York. I hate to sell this Z, but I need the money! Test drives are available for serious buyers in Auburn NY, 13021. Offers made without seeing the car in person may not be taken seriously. A couple quick notes on buying any car. 1. Drive the car 2. Apply for a loan (if you need it) before making an offer 3. Have a mechanic look it over. It's cheep insurance 4. Buy something super fast and enjoy the summer weather! Message, call or text Josh at (Nine-Four-Nine) 280-6373. Thanks for looking :-) Lesser cars include the following :-) 300zx, 280zx, 280z, 260z, 240z, 240sx, 200sx, rx7, rx8, Infinity G35, G30, 370z (overpriced and performs the same, some say less well) datsun |

Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi adopts Android infotainment in coup for Google
Tue, Sep 18 2018PARIS — The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi carmaking alliance said on Tuesday it will adopt Alphabet's Google Android operating system, handing a victory to the U.S. tech giant as it pushes for a bigger share of the infotainment market. Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, with combined sales of 10.6 million vehicles last year, said future models will "integrate Google applications and services" including Maps and the voice-commanded Google Assistant. The move, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, leans more heavily on Big Tech than large or luxury rival carmakers have hitherto been willing to do. Many fear losing control of customer relationships, data and potentially significant future revenue from connected services. Some smaller manufacturers such as Volvo Cars have decided to embed Android Auto in their vehicles. But the scale of the shift by Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi may cause a broader rethink of costly standalone tech strategies. "Major carmakers earlier were reluctant to do business with Google, but this has now changed," said Jauke de Jong, a research analyst at AFS Group in Amsterdam. "More carmakers could follow suit and partner with Google." Until now, carmakers have largely chosen Linux, Microsoft or QNX software to power infotainment. That yields clunkier platforms they can control, but which offer little scope to add new apps or functionality. Far more than just hooking up a phone The news may spell trouble for certain existing auto-tech suppliers such as mapping specialist TomTom, which counts Renault among its customers. Shares in the Dutch group fell by more than quarter after the announcement. In return for handing Google the infotainment keys, the alliance will bring the full clout of Android's thousands of apps to its brands' lineups — which include a strong contingent of affordably priced, no-frills models for emerging markets. The partnership promises "rich user experiences that are currently available only outside the vehicle or, to a limited extent, by connecting an Android device to supported vehicles," alliance development chief Hadi Zablit said. While many volume carmakers offer infotainment "mirroring" to pair with Apple iPhones or Android smartphones, premium rivals such as BMW and Daimler's Mercedes-Benz are investing heavily in their own operating systems, vocal assistants and connected services.
Nissan IDx Nismo and IDx Freeflow concepts are a bridge to the Datsun 510
Wed, 20 Nov 2013We're not sure if someone from The Adjustment Bureau stopped by Nissan's PR department to explain the IDx Nismo and IDx Freeflow concepts, but the company's odd press release can't diminish our love for these two show favorites. We had been told to look out for an unnamed Datsun 510 BRE homage, and once we saw the brothers IDx, we knew we'd found them. But the press release doesn't mention anything about the Datsun 510 Brock Racing Enterprises, nor does it mention one Mr. Peter Brock, the man who won two Trans-Am championships in the Seventies for the nascent Japanese budget brand.
Instead, it declares that the cars were the result of a co-creation product development process with "digital natives," said natives being the whippersnappers born after 1990. Nissan says it worked with the young'uns to create two different expressions of "their desire for a basic, authentic configuration for a car." If that's true, it appears that what the kiddies really want are... two different homages to the Datsun 510 BRE that Peter Brock used to win two championships in the seventies for the nascent Japanese brand.
The IDx Freeflow - the "ID" is for "identification," the "x" is "the variable representing the new values and dreams born through communication" - takes the casual approach, with a light khaki exterior hue, a minimalist interior decked out in denim and a console shifter that works a continuously variable transmission. The IDx Nismo is out for blood, from its crimson interior to its five-point harness to its bolt-on flares and sidepipes. We aren't told what the digital natives requested for powerplants, but that's alright; if this is what "co-creation" looks like, we're not entirely against it except where that "CVT" is involved.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
