Up for sale today is my son's beautiful 2003 Nissan 350Z 2 door coupe. For a used sportscar, it is in very, very nice condition all around. Always maintained, this is his pride and joy while obtaining his pre-med degree at Arizona State U. He landed a great job here in KC in cancer medical research and feels he needs a sedan for work so his fun car must be sold.
350Z is silver exterior with black interior, exterior is very nice with no noticeable dings or anything you would consider distracting. Car's front may have a chip here or there from highway mileage, as one would expect in a used car, but just look those pictures and you can tell this is a beauty. Tires are newer 235/35R20 with stylish rims. Car starts strong every time and runs like an Indy car, corners sharp and tight just like you'd expect. 350z's have a reputation for hugging those corners. Mechanically sound in every way, newer tint was put on the car this summer before he landed this job, replaced the hatch struts so they are brand new couple month's back, mileage is in the 129K range and he drives it every day until sold. Title is Arizona clear, in hand ready to sign over. If you've been wanting one of these sports cars, this would be a great way to enjoy high end performance without buying new! And before those questions come in..."can I drive it home?"...yes, I would be confident to drive anywhere in the United States you call home after winning the bid. My son drove it home this summer from Tempe, AZ with zero problems. Drove like a dream...and got a lot of looks doing so in this beautiful machine. 2003 Nissan 350Z is sold "as is/where is" from Kansas City, MO. No warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. You are buying exactly what you see pictured. Pickup of vehicle is entirely responsibility of winning bidder. Car must be paid for in cash or wired funds must "settle" at my bank before any title transfer takes place, no exceptions. Checks not accepted as payment. No PayPal on this specific sale, please, because of dollar amount. Once payment has been satisfied 100%, then we can discuss when and how to pick up car from present location. Easy to work with on that, if you need time to arrange transportation, I fully understand. Important thing is that car MUST be paid for in full within 5 business days of auction end or I go to next in line. Do not bid if you cannot or won't have funds available immediately after sale ends as I am looking for immediate sale, not long drawn-out procedure with you and your bank over financing. Just being honest and straight-forward from the beginning, thank you. The winner will love this car! |

Nissan could report first quarterly loss since March 2009
Wed, Feb 12 2020TOKYO — Nissan may report its first quarterly loss in more than a decade on Thursday because of slumping sales, sources familiar with the company said, adding more pressure on efforts to rebuild the company after Carlos Ghosn's ouster. Deteriorating profits underscore the challenges facing Nissan, which is unwinding many of the expansionist strategies championed by ex-Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Ghosn by slashing jobs, production sites and product offerings to save cash and ensure its survival. In addition to slumping sales, production disruptions caused by China's coronavirus outbreak could also drag profits lower. Three senior officials at Japan's No. 2 automaker told Reuters that they anticipate a poor results announcement on Thursday, with one of them calling the figures "dismal". Two of the officials cautioned that there is the possibility of an operating loss, which would be the first quarterly loss since the period ending in March 2009. Nissan said it could not comment on its financial results ahead of its official announcement. The company is likely to report operating profit of 48.6 billion yen ($442.5 million) for the quarter ending in December, less than half the 103 billion yen profit a year ago, according to SmartEstimate's survey of three analysts, who revised their forecasts in January. However, those forecasts were issued before the release of the December vehicle sales figures on Jan. 30, which show third-quarter sales dropped by 11% from the year earlier period, according to Reuters calculations. That is the biggest quarterly slump of its current sales downturn that began two years ago. That sales decline led one auto equities analyst based in Japan to scrap his forecast and also warn that Nissan could post a loss. "It will be a question of whether there will be a profit or a loss. For the quarter, a loss is a possibility," he said, declining to be named as his forecast had not been updated to reflect his latest view. One of the three Nissan officials said there is a risk the automaker may cut its full-year profit forecast of 150 billion yen, which would be an 11-year low. The company announced that forecast in November after an initial 230 billion yen outlook.
Infiniti ESQ is a Chinese Nissan Juke Nismo
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Take a Nissan Juke Nismo, replace all of its suede and Alcantara interior with leather and cross-stitching, replace all of its badging with the words "Infiniti ESQ," and boom! You've got a made-for-China crossover aimed at "the new millennials." Infiniti teased the coming of the ESQ last month, and today, we're treated to pictures taking it in from various toothsome angles.
Whippersnappers with anywhere from 200,000 yuan ($33,507 USD) to 300,000 yuan to spend will get the same 197 horsepower, 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, sport-tuned CVT and all-wheel drive that we know in the Juke Nismo. We haven't tracked down any other official information about it yet, but potential buyers will get their first look at it during the Chengdu Motor Show that opens later this month, where it will share market-specific notes with Infiniti Q50 L.
2013 Nissan Pathfinder: Wrap-Up [w/video]
Tue, 13 May 2014Despite our tendency as enthusiasts to clamor for things like wagons and hot hatchbacks, it's hard to argue with the buying public's increasing demand for functional crossovers. In fact, the great SUV craze of the late-1990s has all but faded in favor of the easier-driving, better-packaged, more-efficient crossover. That's even true at the larger end of the market - just look at what happened when Ford redesigned its body-on-frame Explorer into a stylish and well-equipped CUV. And now look at the similar success Nissan has had in repurposing its rugged Pathfinder sport-ute as an appealing crossover.
But happily, we report the following line: out of every long-term vehicle Autoblog has ever tested, not a single one has been as in-demand as the 2013 Pathfinder Platinum you see here. After 13 months of solid use, we added 24,372 miles to the Pfinder's odometer - and that's without the vehicle ever leaving the hands of our Detroit-based team (sorry, West Coasters).
There's good reason for that high-demand usage, too. After spending a little over a year with our Mocha Stone tester (a color that earned this Nissan the nickname "Sweet Brown") we came to appreciate its vast versatility, comfort, all-weather prowess, and the way it absolutely ate up the miles on long trips. We drove it all over the United States, in all four seasons, filling it with our families, friends, and occasionally using its capacious cabin for sleeping on the road. Through good and bad, the Pathfinder was a trusty friend. But like any good friendship, that wasn't without a couple of fights.
