This is a 2007 Nissan 350Z Touring convertible in triple black. It has a 6 speed (lots of fun) manual transmission. It has never seen any snow or any bad weather. It comes with 2 California Covers, one for inside storage, the other should rain occur while on an enjoyable cruise. This is a non-smoker vehicle. It has typical Touring accessories, leather, heated seats, automatic seats, BOSE, etc. It does not have navigation. I prefer to use my own GPS. I have owned the Z since new and have always acted my age when driving it. I am 65. It has never been abused, raced nor driven recklessly. It was delivered to me in December 2006 and since then I have logged 20,200 miles. This is only 3,100 miles per year. No service work has ever been necessary other than regular oil and filter changes. Oil has always been the highest quality synthetic products. Everything on the vehicle works properly, the ac blows cold. No holes were ever made in the nose of the car to accept a front license plate. I purchased a bracket from Zee-Bracket to avoid marring the body. There are no dings, dents or any damage ever. This has been a great and dependable vehicle, but it is time to move on to other things and other cars. Only issue: The arm rest on the driver’s door shows a few scratches caused by my watch and medic alert bracelet. The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction via a bank check, a certified check or a deposit into my PayPal account. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping the vehicle. I will gladly assist and cooperate in the shipping process. |

Nissan design to show more Chinese influence
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Nissan is going to be leveraging the weight of the Chinese market by selling cars influenced by the People's Republic in other markets around the globe. The influence of Chinese design is further proof of the country's importance on a global scale. Nissan isn't the only manufacturer that's looking to leverage China's burgeoning design talent, as BMW, Volkswagen, and General Motors have all set up facilities.
In fact, VW and GM have both used Chinese talent to design cars, in the Passat and Buick LaCrosse, respectively. Nissan has already tested the waters with its Beijing studios, penning the Friend-Me Concept from this year's Shanghai Auto Show. Where GM and VW used their Shanghai-based studios as more consultancies than anything else, though, Nissan is aiming to have the Beijing studio design a global car.
According to Nissan's global design head, Shiro Nakamura, that's already happening. Nakamura told Reuters that Nissan is two years from launching a Chinese-designed global model that will see sales in both North America and Europe, in addition to its home market. While Nakamura wouldn't elaborate on what the new model's styling would entail, there's a focus on what the Chinese call daqi.
Nissan Murano production fires up in America for first time [w/video]
Fri, 07 Nov 2014Production of the new, third-generation Nissan Murano has finally kicked off at the company's Canton, MS factory, marking not only the eighth vehicle built on the facility's lines, but also the first global product to be built there since it opened in 2003.
"The strategic investments that Nissan has made in Canton serve as a testament to the flexibility, efficiency and talent of our workforce and suppliers," said John Martin, Nissan's boss for manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing. "In Canton, we build high-quality vehicles that compete and win globally, and the bold new Murano will build on that reputation."
The addition of Murano production, which joins Altima, Armada, Titan, Frontier, Xterra and NV, brought a further 1,300 jobs.
YouTuber TJ Smith is your singing Lyft driver in Nissan Sentra ad
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Perhaps you've seen Nissan's latest commercial, promoting the Sentra. It's a fairly simple little spot, showing the compact's driver blaring Billy Idol's Mony Mony, singing along and encouraging other motorists to join in.
We'd have been fine had it been left at that. It's a simple commercial that shows the car with a catchy tune and smiling people. Nissan couldn't leave well enough alone, though, and has come back with this. Starring TJ Smith - the driver from the original ad and an apparent YouTube celebrity famous for the kind of thing shown in the original commercial - the new ad expands on the old, with more people, and more Mony Mony. This time round, Smith is serving as a driver for the Lyft service, who just happens to break into song with his fares in the car.
Scroll down for the full video. If you've no idea what we're talking about, we've also included the original commercial.
