2006 Nissan 350z Enthusiast Coupe 2-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Little Rock, Arkansas, United States
Took very good care of the car. Runs synthetic oil that was changed every 4,000 miles. Brand new brake pads, and you'll have lifetime brake pads from midas. Brand new front tires, less than 100 miles on them. Also had a brand new full clutch installed. Aftermarket, so its a little more responsive :). Done by the best car shop in little rock I might add. The car does have a viper alarm on it, so you can start the car up on cold days from the house. Also the alarm is very loud and will tell you on the remote whats going on with your car. You'll need to buy a new viper remote controller though. The last one I had broke. Also installed is a bluetooth microphone which you can see in the pictures. The rims are originally chrome, but I dipped them myself, just because I like my friends calling it the Bat Mobile. they are 20s. paid 2,000 for them a very long time ago. The car has an oil temperature gauge installed, and also air intake gauge. One of the lights in the oil temperature gauge is out, which should be a few dollars to replace. Full exhaust system is installed, sounds mean as hell. Had to replace one of the resonators, so it's different from the other side, but doesn't effect the sound. Car has had cigarettes smoked in before. Title in hand. Really love this car, but I carpool often with friends and I really need a sedan. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping. This is my first time selling anything online, but I'm always on my computer, so emailing back and forth is no problem or by phone. If you have any questions about the car or would like specific pictures let me know. Or if you want to hear it start up as well :). Hope I'm selling to someone who will love the car as much as me. Car handles like a dream and will roar if you want her to. Buyer will need to pay the cost of listing 48 hours after winning the auction.

Nissan prices replacement Leaf battery at $5,500
Fri, Jun 27 2014The battery pack is the single most expensive component in a plug-in vehicle and, until now, figuring out the cost to replace one has been a bit of a mystery. Last year, Nissan tried a $100/month price for a new battery in its popular Leaf, but was loudly criticized for that attempt. Today, Nissan is changing gears with a big announcement regarding the price of a new pack for your Nissan Leaf: $5,500 to buy. With an asterisk. Nissan's Brian Brockman, writing at My Nissan Leaf, announced that Nissan Leaf replacement batteries are now available to purchase at certified Leaf dealers in the US at a suggested retail price of $5,499. These packs are the ones found in 2015 Leaf models, which are similar to the ones the Leaf has always had, just with a different, better battery chemistry. To buy a new pack, you need to give Nissan your original battery pack (which Nissan says will be recycled and has a value of $1,000) and the $5,500 "does not include tax, installation fees or an installation kit required for 2011 and 2012 vehicles." That kit costs around $225. A $100/month financing program will still be available (details will be made available later) but now it will have an end date and the driver will own the pack at the end of the payment process. All replacement packs will have the same eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty as the battery in a new Leaf. You can read Brockman's full statement below or over on My Nissan Leaf. Ever since the Leaf entered the market in late 2010, Nissan has been dealing with degrading battery issue, both as a real thing (in warm climates like Arizona) and as a worry in the mind of potential customers. Now that we know how much it'll cost to get a new pack, we can calculate that the overall cost for a new 24-kWh pack is now officially $6,500. That means the price to a customer is less than $270-per-kWh. That's quite low compared to some early estimates, right on target with others and a very big deal for EV shoppers and drivers out there. Hi all: I'm happy to be back to provide a long-awaited update on the Nissan LEAF battery replacement plan. Last year, I posted preliminary details of the program that we'd created based on early survey data, and it led to spirited discussion (and very vocal criticism). So we went back to the drawing board with your comments and the ongoing guidance of the LEAF Advisory Board.
Porsche 911 Turbo and Nissan GT-R Nismo star in World's Greatest Drag Race 4
Fri, 26 Sep 2014We love Motor Trend's annual World's Greatest Drag Race video. Now back for its fourth appearance, the idea of lining some of the world's fastest cars up for a ten-wide, straight-line, full-throttle run is, well... it's pretty freaking badass.
The lineup this year boasts some impressively fast cars to be sure. The group of ten includes the following darlings: Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI and, last but not least, the Volkswagen GTI. Give us any one of those for the weekend, and we're happy to take the keys.
It must be said though, that for a publication that draws as much water as Motor Trend does, there are some big cars that we might expect to be here instead. The Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 458 Speciale would have added some exotic flare to the list, and the omissions of the Chevy Corvette Stingray (for the second year in a row) and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat are real head-scratchers.
NISMO confirms hotter GT-R, return to Le Mans and more performance models [w/videos]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Nissan has made three announcements, all of which intend to sharpen the global significance and sales of its NISMO performance arm. Calling it "a new era for NISMO as its global performance car and motorsports brand," Carlos Ghosn cut the ribbon on the new, larger, nicer NISMO headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. For the first time since the division was founded in 1984, all of its employees are located in one place that was dubbed "a hothouse of passion and performance." Sign us up.
There, the team will start overhauling Nissan's entire range with NISMO models. The Juke NISMO is right around the corner for the US market, the second generation of the 370Z NISMO is coming for 2014, the first GT-R NISMO is being developed, and after that will come "a range of affordable performance Nissan models from small cars to flagship sports cars" - a new model every year. The expanded product line will mean that markets that haven't had access to NISMO's works will finally be able to buy them.
The last big news is that from now on NISMO will manage every one of Nissan's global motorsports programs, and its largest initiative will be prepping an entry for Le Mans in 2014. While Nissan has left the DeltaWing project, it hasn't walked away from experimental racers: the brand aims to have "a pioneering Nissan race car showcasing electric technology" ready in 15 months that shows "a new approach to innovation and excitement."
