For sale is a one owner since new 2006 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast Roadster convertible.  This car has lived in Southern Florida its entire life and has never been in an accident, never had any body or paint work.   It is a sharp, beautiful, hot Nissan Redline Red with two-tone gray and red leather seats.  The car has always been serviced by Napleton's Nissan in Riviera Beach, FL.  I have every receipt for all of the regularly performed services.  I also have all of the original paperwork including the original window sticker.  The final cost of this vehicle was over $41000.  The dealer put a new top on it a couple of years ago under warranty and it still looks brand new.  It is a power top and operates perfectly.  I also have the two original keys with two working remotes and the valet key. It has aftermarket front and rear spoilers and clear LED front marker lights.  The car is extremely clean and has never been abused and is in top mechanical condition.  The rear tires are brand new with less than 20 miles on them. The front tires have plenty of tread left.  These sit on 18" aluminum wheels.  The two engine fans and shroud were just replaced as well.

This car features a 287 HP 3.5L DOHC 24-Valve Aluminum V6 engine with 274 lb-ft of Torque and it really moves. It is a 5-Speed Automatic Transmission w/Manual Mode.  Vented Disc Brakes front and Rear.  ABS.  The top has a power tonneau cover and a glass rear window with defroster.  HID Bi-Xenon Headlights.  LED Taillights. Heated Power Sideview Mirrors.  Glass Rear Window deflector.  8-Way Power driver's seat and 4-Way power passenger seat.  AM/FM/CD w/6 speakers. Home Link Universal Transceiver. Cross Drilled Aluminum Foot Pedals.  Leather wrapped steering wheel with multi-function buttons and aluminum interior accents.

This Z turns heads wherever I drive it.  The mileage averages out to about 13,500 a year and mostly turnpike driving.

The only very minor negatives I can think of is that there is some clear coat peeling on the passenger side mirror which can be corrected with a minor paint job of just the mirror case and there is a little peeling on the radio face, but I have another very good original radio that will be included and if you feel like switching them...it is an easy job.

Thank you for looking at my car and hopefully for your bid.

I will accept PayPal only for a deposit of $1000.  I will also accept cash, bank wire transfer, or certified bank check for the deposit.  For the balance of the funds, I accept cash, bank wire transfer, and a certified bank check.  However, I will not release the clear title in-hand until the bank check totally clears my bank.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Nissan takes over naming rights for Tennessee Titans stadium [UPDATE]

Thu, Jun 25 2015

UPDATE: Nissan has released a pair of renderings showing how the stadium could look when the transformation is complete. Check them out in the gallery above. Nissan looms large in Nashville. That's where its North American headquarters are based, and just 25 miles down the road in Smyrna is its massive assembly plant. But it's about to become an even bigger part of the Tennessee metropolis as the Japanese automaker has acquired the naming rights to the stadium where the Tennessee Titans play. The deal, confirmed by Nissan in correspondence with Autoblog this morning, will see the sports complex switch names from LP Field (currently named for building materials firm Lousiana-Pacific Corp.) to Nissan Stadium. The arrangement will be valid for the next 20 years. What's more, the deal will be in place in time for Nissan to introduce its new Titan pickup that shares its name with the football team, despite being built in Mississippi. The contract will also see Nissan become the official automotive partner of the Titans. Aside serving as the NFL team's home, the Nashville stadium also plays host to Tennessee State University football, the Music City Bowl, and numerous other events. Country music fans may be more familiar with the CMA Music Festival, held every year at the stadium and nearby Riverside Park, but we're most looking forward to a Rams-Titans showdown to determine who plays the best ball and makes the best truck. Of course, Nissan isn't the only automaker to have its name on a major sports complex in America. In fact Nissan Stadium won't even be the only NFL stadium named after a car company: Mercedes has the naming rights for the Louisiana Superdome that the New Orleans Saints call home, and the Detroit Lions play at Ford Field. (Sorry to break it to you, but Tiger Stadium had nothing more to do with Sunbeams than New York's Polo Grounds did with little Volkswagens or Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field has to do with leasing Town Cars.)

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.

Infiniti to move forward with 'Nissan-plus' strategy for its future cars

Mon, Jun 1 2020

Sales at Infiniti in 2019 were down in the dumps. While the market as a whole fell 1.2%, Infiniti brand sales were down 21%. Nissan wasn’t too far behind, with its sales sliding 9.9% year-to-year. None of those numbers look great, but Nissan COO Ashwani Gupta still sees a path forward for NissanÂ’s luxury brand, Infiniti. “We will bring back Infiniti as Nissan-plus, in terms of product and technology," Gupta told Automotive News. “Infiniti will be great again.” Historically-speaking, Infiniti has been “Nissan-plus” for a long time over the years. Many vehicles in its lineup have been re-skinned versions of Nissans with some luxury thrown into the mix, and thatÂ’s not necessarily a bad thing. There have been some standouts, namely the original Q45 with its pioneering active suspension and shockingly sporty dynamics. And then there are the G coupes and sedans, vehicles that are still desirable to enthusiasts today. View 31 Photos InfinitiÂ’s current enthusiast offerings revolve around the Q50 sedan and Q60 coupe, both of which are rear-wheel-drive (or all-wheel-drive) cars with sporting intentions. ThereÂ’s no equivalent Nissan sold in America, but the Q50 is the Nissan Skyline in Japan. ItÂ’s impossible to know what the fate of these rear-drive-based cars will be, but a few possibilities lie ahead. Infiniti could really lean in to the “Nissan-plus” nomenclature and repurpose the new Altima as an Infiniti sedan. More likely, however, is a move to electrification. The Nissan IMs Concept and Infiniti Q Inspiration Concept both suggest that the company is interested in creating electric sedans. A “Nissan-plus” electric sedan sure sounds a whole lot better than a front-drive-based rebadged Nissan. InfinitiÂ’s biggest problem at this second is the lack of new product on the market. Its QX50 crossover is the most recent big redesign weÂ’ve been witness to, but it needed replacements yesterday for the QX60, Q50 and Q60 to be competitive with others in those segments. Both Lexus and Acura are outpacing Infiniti by a wide margin. The path forward as “Nissan-plus” also suggests Infiniti aims to be a premium brand, rather than a full-fledged luxury brand competing toe-to-toe with Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. ThatÂ’s consistent with how the brandÂ’s cars have stacked up in recent years, even as it collaborated with Mercedes to put an Infiniti badge on the GLA crossover.
