2005 Nissan 350z Base 70k Manual Trans, Clean Florida Car on 2040-cars
Inverness, Florida, United States
This is a very nice 2005 350z that we are pleased to offer for sale. Vehicle is in good condition, no accident history, runs and drives great, ac and all accessories are in good working order, no warning lights of any kind.
Drive train appears to be in good working order, engine runs great, does not burn or leak any oil. Transmission shifts great, does have a slight grind when downshifting into 5th if you downshift too quickly. Clutch is in great shape and engages perfectly, tires are in decent shape, Michelins all around. Brakes feel great and have lots of life left. The body is in great shape, it does have some dings on the passenger door, also some slight indentations by the gas door, I tried to get those in a picture. Also there is one ding in the hood near the left headlight. There is no rust on the body, its in great shape, the paint is in good shape except for the hood and front bumper. It appears to have a lot of rock chips in the paint especially on the hood. I tried to get a picture of that, the car looks great in the pictures, in person the imperfections on the hood paint is very obvious. I can try to get more specific pictures if desired. Interior is in nice shape, in the pictures the ash tray is missing but we have one on order. The biggest imperfection on the interior is the driver seat has a cigarette burn on the bottom, otherwise it is in quite nice shape inside. Every accessory works correctly, AC and radio work fine with no problems. Car is in nice shape, could use some paint work to be perfect, otherwise it is nice. If you have any questions please ask before bidding, feel free to call Mark at Apache Auto at: 352-344-4383 to talk about the car. FINE PRINT: This car is sold as is, price does not include applicable taxes and title fees. Even if you are out of state sales tax will most likely still apply, contact us before assuming anything. Nissan teases New York-bound 2015 Murano
Mon, 24 Mar 2014It was over a month ago when we received reports that Nissan would be unveiling the new Murano at the New York Auto Show next month. Now the Japanese automaker has confirmed its imminent arrival, offering up the brief teaser clip below to give us a very faint idea of what to expect.
In announcing the Murano's upcoming debut in Manhattan, the company described the Murano as "the halo vehicle for Nissan's expanding range of bold crossovers and SUVs," previewing the design that will distinguish a whole range of Nissans to follow.
Short of that, we've got little to go on, but we're expecting to see some traits from the Resonance concept of 2013 Detroit vintage finding their way onto the production version of a vehicle that has always been rather stylized from the start. Something (sales figures, perhaps?) tells us that the oddball CrossCabriolet will get lost along the way, not that we'll mind.
Datsun's lackluster initial sales fall below Tata Nano
Wed, 15 Oct 2014When Tata introduced the Nano back in 2008, everyone was amazed at how cheap it was. They called it a game changer, but no game was changed. In fact, it took Tata five years to sell the 250,000 units it had the capacity to build in a single year. As it turns out, even buyers in what economists call "developing markets" like India aren't necessarily interested in buying an ultra-cheap automobile. And now it appears that Nissan may be falling into the same trap.
A little over a year ago, Nissan revived its old moniker Datsun to serve as a budget brand - similar to what ally Renault did with Dacia. Its lineup (consisting of models like the Go hatchback, Go+ minivan, On-Do sedan and Mi-Do hatch) is largely based on old architecture, packaged with little more than basic equipment and sold at rock-bottom prices. But Bloomberg reports that, even in the brand's core markets like India and Indonesia, the new Datsuns haven't been selling.
According to local industry figures, Datsun has sold fewer than 10,000 units of its $5,100 Go hatchbacks in India since its introduction back in March. Maruti Suzuki, by comparison, sells twice that many of its similarly priced Alto hatchbacks every month. In fact, after peaking in April, Datsun only sold 607 units in India this past July, dipping 77 percent to drop below even the number of Nanos which Tata sold that month.
Nissan EV design is diverging in three directions
Tue, Jan 21 2014As the movie awards season kicks into high gear, Nissan design chief Shiro Nakamura appears to be implying that his company's electric-vehicle design prospects are about to go from Philomena into The Wolf of Wall Street territory. Nakamura, speaking with Motor Authority at the Detroit Auto Show last week, allowed that the design of the five-seat Nissan Leaf is fairly conservative and will remain so given that the model continues to be the most practically-minded EV from the company. In the near future, though, Nissan is planning to head in different directions. Specifically, an all-electric sports car and a two-seat commuter vehicle that could come with in-wheel electric motors that will allow the designs to get more radical. How radical? Well, we've heard Nissan may bring the BladeGlider concept (pictured) it unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show late last year to production. It has a narrow front and wider rear and a 1+2 seating arrangement. Beyond that, Nissan has the two-seat Esflow concept vehicle it showed off in 2011 that could provide some hints, since it's expected that some of the design components from that car will be worked into the upcoming production models.
