2004 Nissan 350z on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
For sale is a 2004 Nissan 350Z with 109,744 miles (may go up as I drive the car periodically.) This Z runs and drives 100% with no issues, there are no check engine codes or warning lights. The engine is mechanically sound and does no make any noise, the engine bay is dry and there is no aftermarket work done to the engine. Transmission shifts smooth-with no hesitation. Suspension is tight, and there are no rattles or shakes. Cosmetically the car is 8/10, there are some minor flaws such as small oxidation spots on both rear fenders on the edges of the wheel wells (pictured), there is a dent on the right side quarter panel (no paint damage), there is a few minor scratches on the bumpers, and you may find a small dent or two that i couldn't get with the camera, otherwise the car is pretty clean-please look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Interior is in good condition, there are no rips in the upholstery, nor are there foul odors. Seats may need some cleaning, I will try and take care of that myself before the end of the sale, otherwise the interior is great. Tires have wear and would need to be replaced soon. the airbag light tends to come on and off periodically, I'm not sure why but it doesn't affect anything, except the annoying blinking occasionally. Overall this is a great Z and has low miles for the year, especially given the fact it is stock and does not have any aftermarket work done to the motor. I have described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge, I am not the original owner therefore I do not have all the service history. If you have ANY questions, please feel free to ask me before you bid/buy. Test drives are welcome and actually encouraged so you are confident in what you are buying, I have nothing to hide. The car is being sold AS-IS just for the year and miles. *The car has a clean title with repo-papers attached, and it will be sold with a dealer reassignment. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK, ITS THAT SIMPLE. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BUY THIS CAR OR DO NOT HAVE IMMEDIATE FUNDS AVAILABLE, PLEASE DO NOT BID. I CAN BE REACHED AT 347 264 3917 (OR YOU CAN USE THE EBAY MESSAGING SYSTEM.) |

Watch Nissan prank unsuspecting test drivers with GT Academy
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Nissan's reality show/motorsports program, GT Academy, is set to return to Spike TV for its fourth season on Friday, and in anticipation, the Nismo team has issued a new video that gives some of its fans a taste of the racing lifestyle.
It all starts innocently enough, with fans test-driving a 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo, only to have a sudden stop quickly transforms things into something a bit more exuberant and special. We won't spoil the details, so take a look at the video for yourself, and then head into Comments and let us know what you think.
GT Academy will air on Spike TV, Friday nights at 11:30 PM Eastern.
2014 Nissan Versa Note priced from $13,990*
Fri, 14 Jun 2013With the 2014 Nissan Versa Note going on sale this month, Nissan has announced the official pricing for its redesigned subcompact hatchback. Commanding a $2,000 premium over the Versa sedan, the new Versa Note will have a starting price of $13,990 (*not including $790 for destination), which is $680 less than the 2012 Versa Hatchback.
The base model is the Versa Note S, but trim levels also include S Plus and SV starting at $15,240 and $15,990, respectively. The S Plus trim will deliver the highest fuel economy - best in class according to Nissan - for the Versa Note thanks to a CVT and active grille shutters, and the SV brings more convenience features like power windows and door locks (that's right, the base models will still get crank windows and manual door locks). Stepping up even further, the SL Package will add push-button starter, backup camera and heated seats for $17,690 while the SL Tech Package tops out at $18,490 with navigation, Nissan's Around View Monitor and Bluetooth. More pricing details for the 2014 Versa Note are posted below in the official press release.
NISMO confirms hotter GT-R, return to Le Mans and more performance models [w/videos]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Nissan has made three announcements, all of which intend to sharpen the global significance and sales of its NISMO performance arm. Calling it "a new era for NISMO as its global performance car and motorsports brand," Carlos Ghosn cut the ribbon on the new, larger, nicer NISMO headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. For the first time since the division was founded in 1984, all of its employees are located in one place that was dubbed "a hothouse of passion and performance." Sign us up.
There, the team will start overhauling Nissan's entire range with NISMO models. The Juke NISMO is right around the corner for the US market, the second generation of the 370Z NISMO is coming for 2014, the first GT-R NISMO is being developed, and after that will come "a range of affordable performance Nissan models from small cars to flagship sports cars" - a new model every year. The expanded product line will mean that markets that haven't had access to NISMO's works will finally be able to buy them.
The last big news is that from now on NISMO will manage every one of Nissan's global motorsports programs, and its largest initiative will be prepping an entry for Le Mans in 2014. While Nissan has left the DeltaWing project, it hasn't walked away from experimental racers: the brand aims to have "a pioneering Nissan race car showcasing electric technology" ready in 15 months that shows "a new approach to innovation and excitement."
