2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Edition.

Car description:
2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Edition. Black with burnt orange interior. Very nice condition. Lowest miles 2003 350Z you will find. Just enough performance parts on the stock motor to run great and remain factory reliable, killer audio system, only the best parts used. Always garaged.

I am only selling this very low miles car at a very reasonable price because I am going to be traveling for the next 2 years and I don't want to see this car just sitting and collecting dust.

My brother ordered this Nissan 350Z Touring Edition new in Albuquerque New Mexico. I bought it from him and brought it to Oregon in 2010. It has always been a pleasure vehicle only, extra car, for both of us. Most of my miles (2011 to current) have been weekend pleasure rides.

Thousands spent on extras.

Car options:
- Only 54,200 original miles

- Touring Edition
- 6 speed manual transmission w/Euro orange matching shifter and boot.
- Black exterior
- Burnt Orange interior with rare Euro orange shifter boot, shifter knob and e-brake boot.

- Heated seats
- Custom HRE wheels (You will not find another 350Z with these very expensive HRE wheels anywhere, ever!)
- Borla True Dual Exhaust
- Stillen 2 front nose with functional brake ram air cooling vents
- Ground wire kit
- The stereo system upgrade is very recent and sounds great!  **
Pioneer CD\DVD\Nav\bluetooth head unit, JL Audio XD700 digital 5 channel amp w/separate sub control, Rockford Fosgate subwoofer with custom rear cabinet (removable), Polk Audio and Focal speakers, rear camera
- partial clear bra
- weather floor mats

Car condition:
- The car is in very good condition. Runs perfect and strong. Only 54,000 miles, Carfax Guaranteed.
- There are normal minor scratches and scrapes for a black car this old but this car has always been garaged. So the paint is still very good and shiny and the interior has no fading.
- One HRE wheel has bad curb rash and a repair should be considered. It is drivable and repairable. The car is certainly drivable but bad rash on very expensive HRE's is just wrong. I would refinish all of them at the same time and they will all look brand new for many more years. These are true 3 piece wheels which cost thousands to have made. I can help arrange this service if needed.

Message me for my phone number if you would like to discuss details. I am very easy to work with.

Payment and shipping:
- $500 deposit due by Paypal within 24 hours. Payment in full before delivery.
- I can not help you with financing. Please have your finances in order before you bid.

- I will help you get the car shipped by the shipper of your choice, at your cost. I am also willing to make arrangements to help you, such as drive it to you if you pay to fly me back, etc.  All shipping is your responsibility and nothing is to be assumed unless discussed and agreed before you bid.

Datsun's lackluster initial sales fall below Tata Nano

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

When Tata introduced the Nano back in 2008, everyone was amazed at how cheap it was. They called it a game changer, but no game was changed. In fact, it took Tata five years to sell the 250,000 units it had the capacity to build in a single year. As it turns out, even buyers in what economists call "developing markets" like India aren't necessarily interested in buying an ultra-cheap automobile. And now it appears that Nissan may be falling into the same trap.
A little over a year ago, Nissan revived its old moniker Datsun to serve as a budget brand - similar to what ally Renault did with Dacia. Its lineup (consisting of models like the Go hatchback, Go+ minivan, On-Do sedan and Mi-Do hatch) is largely based on old architecture, packaged with little more than basic equipment and sold at rock-bottom prices. But Bloomberg reports that, even in the brand's core markets like India and Indonesia, the new Datsuns haven't been selling.
According to local industry figures, Datsun has sold fewer than 10,000 units of its $5,100 Go hatchbacks in India since its introduction back in March. Maruti Suzuki, by comparison, sells twice that many of its similarly priced Alto hatchbacks every month. In fact, after peaking in April, Datsun only sold 607 units in India this past July, dipping 77 percent to drop below even the number of Nanos which Tata sold that month.

Recharge Wrap-up: Reverse graffiti powered by Nissan Leaf; BMW introduces Wallbox Pro

Mon, Sep 29 2014

BMW has a new, faster version of the Wallbox home EV charger. The Wallbox Pro offers 7.4 kilowatts, and can charge the BMW i3 to 80 percent in under three hours. It features a seven-inch touchscreen and proximity sensor, plus an 11.5-foot cord. The Wallbox Pro can also be used with smart home systems such as lighting and heating. The Wallbox Pro is available in Europe, and will come to the US later in the year. Read more at Hybrid Cars. Nissan is using the Leaf to power the creation of "reverse graffiti" in London. The company has commissioned artist Moose to selectively wash dirt off of a wall outside of a subway station, leaving behind a mural of London landmarks. Moose used a jet washer powered by the Leaf's battery to create the piece. The goal is to highlight the amount of pollution in London and other large cities, which is not a new idea. "It is a reminder that electric vehicles don't have an exhaust to emit the kind of air pollution which has stained the wall Moose has created his piece on," says Nissan's Jean-Pierre Diernaz. See the artwork in the gallery, and read more in the press release below. Local Motors used a 3D printer to make the Strati electric car in 44 hours. The car was printed with 212 layers of carbon-reinforced ABS thermoplastic. After printing, the team then spent two days finishing the car to make it run. It is powered by the drivetrain from a Renault Twizy, and is capable of 40 miles per hour. Now the question is if this sort of small-scale car manufacturing using 3D printing technology will catch on. See how a car gets printed in the time-lapse video below, and read more over at Treehugger. Nissan cleans up London with the world's first car-powered graffiti - Nissan LEAF powers "Reverse Graffiti" street art in Waterloo - Mass-scale mural imagines a cleaner London, without car fumes - The artwork is on show in Waterloo, London near popular Southbank LONDON – Nissan is highlighting London's battle with air quality in the UK by using the 100% electric Nissan LEAF – the world's best-selling electric vehicle (EV) – to power a striking piece of street art in Waterloo, London that depicts the capital's iconic skyline. Nissan commissioned Reverse Graffiti artist Moose – the founder of his field – to create the mass-scale mural, which was unveiled today. Unlike traditional graffiti, Moose creates his art by cleaning dirt off surfaces using a jet washer or wire brush, leaving a striking design in negative on the wall.

Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.
