Morongo Valley, California, United States
2003 NISSAN 350Z Touring Cpe. I am posting this listing on behalf of a friend, an older lady here in town that owns this beautiful 2003 NISSAN 2350Z Coupe, but who has no knowledge of how to advertise a car for sale. It was driven by her late husband, who passed on, now she needs this vehicle gone, as she has not use for it. The Z has only 72kmls miles on it, bearing evidence that is was his occasional pleasure ride, and not the daily beater. Low miles check out on CarFax, and that is only 7kmls per year and less than half of what is commonly known as normal annual mileage. It has a clear record, and comes with a a clear CA title. It is equipped with the Touring package, and features amongst others power windows, power door-locks, cruise control, power steering, Bose sound system, on board fuel mileage computer, black interior with leather bucket seats, alloy wheels, custom billet front grille, plus all the other amenities common for a sport coupe of nowadays. Comes with the original NISSAN manual package as well as a repair manual. Contact me please with any more question you may have about the car via the eBay system, I shall see to it that they'll be answered promptly. Phone numbers helps if you want to be called back and have questions answered on the spot. While we are open to reasonable offers and very motivated to sell, please spare us and your myself the time with with unreasonable low-ball offers, they shall be rejected. |

Nissan poaches Ram CEO Fred Diaz
Sat, 13 Apr 2013Nissan has announced that it has hired Fred Diaz as its new divisional vice president of sales and marketing. With the appointment, Diaz unexpected exits his post as president and CEO of Chrysler's Ram brand, a position he has held since 2009 when the brand was created as a separate entity from Dodge. He was also president and CEO of Chrysler de Mexico.
Nissan issued a press released - posted below - in which it says that Diaz's newly formed position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the brand in the US, including such facets as sales, marketing, parts and service, along with administrative matters. In addition, he will lead Nissan's light commercial vehicle and fleet division, likely a key attraction with his Ram background.
Chrysler has yet to name a replacement for Diaz.
Skyline-powered Nissan Patrol shows Juke-R how it's done
Mon, 21 Oct 2013If you had told us a few years ago that people would be shoehorning GT-R engines into Nissan SUVs, we'd have told you you were nuts. But that was before the Juke-R came along. And before the Qashqai-R project followed a similar formula. Well, now there's a third example.
We don't know who made it or who it belongs to, but some our-kind-of-nuts character has shoehorned the 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-six from a Skyline GT-R into a fourth-gen Nissan Patrol sport-ute. And from the sound of it, we gather the engine has also been heavily tuned beyond its 215-horsepower stock specification.
What's even better is that this Patrol-R isn't alone. Check out the second video below and you'll see a whole club of Patrol owners who've shoehorned in Nissan RB engines like the ones that powered generations of Skyline GT-Rs.
Panoz and DeltaWing suing Nissan over BladeGlider concept
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Similarity is bound to occur in an industry where most of the products follow the same basic formula. But once in a while a new design comes along that doesn't quite reinvent the wheel, but comes pretty damn close. The DeltaWing project was one such design - and Nissan, the car's designers allege, stole that design.
After the DeltaWing proposal was rejected by the IndyCar series, its creators took it to Le Mans and brought Nissan on board to supply the power. Nissan subsequently pulled out of the program and came out with the ZEOD RC hybrid racer (right), bearing a suspiciously similar design with an unusually narrow front track at the end of a long nose cone, and a wider track at the back. The Japanese automaker then displayed the BladeGlider concept (below, right) at the Tokyo Motor Show, envisioning a translation of the same formula into road-going form.
The similarity did not escape Don Panoz, who - after making sports and racing cars under his own name and founding the now-defunct American Le Mans Series - was a central figure in bringing the original DeltaWing to life. Now Panoz has filed a lawsuit against Nissan, soliciting the courts to issue a cease-and-desist order on both the ZEOD RC and BladeGlider projects, naming Nissan motorsport chief Darren Cox and Ben Bowlby (who defected to Nissan from the DeltaWing program) as part of the suit.
