This 2003 Nissan 350Z is a Touring edition and has the edition of the Performance option group. The paint is in good condition with the exception of the front and rear bumper covers which has some very minor aging to the clear coat. The vehicle has never been involved in an accident. The interior is black leather and has a full compliment of options like power windows, power heated seats, power locks, power remote entry, AM/FM/CD, cold A/C, tinted windows, the dash has a storage panel in the middle that suffers from the usual issue of sticking some times when closing.
The 19 wheels have a different offset front and rear to add to the race stance provided by the Nismo springs and bushings that were installed. The tires are in "ok" shape and ride good with plenty of tread left. The alloys have some need for polish but in good condition. The cold air intake is the only modification to the drive train. The car has a well maintained 132K miles, I don't have the records as I have been doing the maintenance as a true "Car guy" and former owner of a very successful repair facility chain. I feel the car runs and drives great with a firm ride due to the Nismo springs. This car would make a great toy or even a daily driver. The car is clean, but not going to say spotless because you never know what some ones definition of that is. Every option works as it was designed.
The car has unexpected leaks and has been serviced recently. I am selling this as a reduction in my collection to make room for another project I want to get underway. I do have a video of this car available to email you if you are a serious buyer. The test drive of the vehicle will only be done if you have the funds to purchase with you when you come to pick it up. As on the TV show Fast N Loud, I will drive you will ride so I can preserve the "No accident" part of my cars value. If the vehicle does not meet your expectation after you win the bid, you will not be required to purchase and I will give you good feedback. The buyer must pay for transportation to their location.

Nissan Rogue, Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 recalled for loose lug nuts
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Nissan has announced a small recall affecting 334 vehicles built just a few months back. 2014 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder and 2014 Infiniti QX60 CUVs built between March 7 and March 10, 2014 could be susceptible to a loose lug nut on the passenger side wheels.
We shouldn't have to explain why a loose lug is a bit of an issue. Thankfully, it's also a ridiculously easy fix. Nissan obviously recommends reporting to your local dealer - and it will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles - but this is one of those rare recalls that has an easy DIY element to it.
Take a look below for a brief bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Nissan alters all CVTs to act less like a stretched rubberband
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Among automotive enthusiasts, no one seems to hold a neutral opinion when it comes to continuously variable transmissions. CVTs are either praised for their ability to boost fuel economy or chided for their occasionally poor driving dynamics. Nissan is among the masters of these un-shifting gearboxes in the US, and it uses them in many vehicles in its lineup. However, for the 2015 model year, several models are getting a software update to make their CVTs a bit more like a conventional automatic.
To give drivers the option of feeling gearshifts while on the road, Nissan is adding its D-Step Shift Logic feature to the CVTs in multiple vehicles. Steve Powers, Nissan's senior manager of powertrain performance, told Autoblog the system forces the transmission to "hold a ratio and then shift" to simulate the way that a traditional automatic would. It's simply a change in software, but the company "can't do it to older CVTs," he said, because it would require changes to transmission logic, as well. According to Automotive News, the upgrade is coming to the 2015 Versa, Versa Note (pictured above), Sentra, V6-equipped Altima, Pathfinder and Quest. "We're rolling it out to all programs," said Powers.
Interestingly, buyer perception appears to be pushing the upgrade. John Curl, a Nissan North America regional product manager, told Automotive News that the decision to add the tech partially comes because some owners are bothered that the CVTs aren't changing gears. According to Powers, D-Step "avoids the rubber band feel," that many drivers didn't like. The different sensation of these transmissions seems like something consumers would notice during the test drive, or that the salesperson would inform them about. The same issue cropped up last year when the company was facing customer satisfaction problems among new buyers customers' unfamiliarity with the gearboxes.
Daimler consulting with Ford about 3-cylinder engines
Mon, 27 May 2013Soon enough, Ford will offer its 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine under the hood of the Fiesta here in the United States, building on the success of the small powerplant overseas. In fact, this success has caused other automakers to take notice, and according to Automotive News Europe, Daimler is now talking to Ford about this engine for use in its own products.
In other markets, Ford offers the 1.0-liter mill under the hood of the Focus (we had the chance to sample this package on our home turf), as well as the B-Max MPV. For this new collaboration, Daimler would use the turbo-three in the next-generation Smart ForTwo, as well as the Renault Twingo, which the German automaker will be collaborating on as part of its alliance with Renault-Nissan. Speaking to AN, a Mercedes-Benz engineer called the 1.0-liter mill an "interesting and impressive engine."
In exchange for details about the EcoBoost inline-three, Daimler will supply Ford with information regarding its Euro6 stratified lean-burn gasoline engine, which is found in the new E-Class sedan.
