I made a mistake. It is Touring, not the enthusiast trim. It is a Touring 6 Speed.

My asking price reflects the enthusiast model which is cheaper (Appx. $1000 lower)

But I am not correcting the price since this is my original offering.

Greetings,

Up for sale is a 06 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast.

Religiously maintained and is in an excellent condition.

Maintenance records available.

Absolutely no dents and dings. Babied.

Never raced. Adult driver.

======================================================================
A Brand New Engine (Not re-manufactured) and clutch was installed at 31454 miles due to failure.

Currently sits at around 45xxx miles on the chassis and around 13xxx miles on the engine/clutch.

(Dealer installed and record in hand including the diagnostics)

======================================================================
This year for 350Z had upgrades from the previous years in many ways. But the prominent ones are the

Limited slip differential and Rev-up engine.

-Rev-up engine is in my opinion the best engine for 350Z. It produces 300Bhp/260lbft of torque.

Compare to older engines it has higher rpm (Redline at 7000 rpm) and better power curve along with increased horsepower.

-Limited Slip Differential was available for all trims except the base model. Base model only has open differential.

===========================================================================
As far as the modifications are concerned, here are the listings.

Tanabe GF210 sports suspension 1 inch lowered front and back.

Takeda Short Ram Air Intake. ( I can't trust cold air intake anymore so I went for short ram intake.)

Brand new ceramic brakes.

ICHIBA 20MM Front, 25MM Rear Wheel spacers.

Brand New SEIBON Carbon fiber hood. (2007 factory style cf hood)

Nismo N1 style front lip spoiler.

True dual cat back exhaust system.

======================================================================
Asking price is $16763. OBO

The price was derived from the average "very good" value from 45000 mile and 13500.

Considering the amount of money spent for the new motor and clutch, I humbly think that it is a fair price.

But all offers will be entertained and will not be neglected.

Nissan working on something radical for Le Mans

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

With Porsche joining Audi and Toyota at the front of the LMP1 grid at Le Mans next year, Nissan is the next to be throwing its hat (and considerable R&D budget) into the proverbial ring. But only if it's allowed to do something radically different, according to the latest report in Car magazine.
Just what that means remains to be seen, but Nissan is reportedly in active discussions with the ACO (the body that governs the race) to see how far it can stretch the regulations. The ACO has taken an intriguingly different approach to equalizing performance, mandating the maximum amount of energy that can be used per lap instead of telling teams what kind of engines they can use. That's how Porsche is entering with a four-cylinder engine, Toyota with a V8 and Audi with a diesel six. But when it comes to the shape of the car itself, the rules are considerably more restrictive.
Unfortunately the rules would prohibit Nissan fielding the ZEOD RC (with its narrow front track) in the LMP1 class, relegating it instead to the Garage 56 slot for experimental racers (which the DeltaWing filled before). And the realities of endurance racing would effectively prohibit anyone from fielding an all-electric racer. Within those confines, though, Nissan is eager to find enough wiggle room to make something both visually and technically different from other LMPs. And if the ACO won't let it do so at Le Mans, it could turn to another race or series (like the Nürburgring 24) that would.

2014 Nissan Rogue gives us our best look yet

Thu, 08 Aug 2013

Nissan is reportedly fast-tracking the development of its next-generation Rogue crossover, and judging by this latest set of spy shots, the new small CUV is coming along quite nicely.
To no one's surprise, the new Rogue takes the vast majority of its design cues from the Hi-Cross concept that debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and specific elements like the pronounced wheel arches, angular nose, flat roofline and more stylized taillmaps should make for a Rogue that's far more style conscious than the model it replaces. This stronger design language should help the new Rogue to better stand out in the sea of Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 rivals.
There's far more to the new Rogue than just some swoopier sheetmetal, though. This crossover is expected to be the first vehicle to ride on the Renault-Nissan CMF (Common Module Family) platform, an architecture flexible enough to eventually support a host of new products. As we reported earlier, the next Rogue will be built in the US, in Tennessee.

Nissan: We lose money on each Leaf replacement battery

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Nissan has been playing its cards pretty close to its chest when it comes to the production costs for Leaf battery packs. The company recently put a price on replacement batteries for customers at $5,500 plus the requirement to return the old battery. If the decommissioned battery is worth $1,000 to Nissan, as they have stated, that means the battery costs about $6,500 to make, right? Maybe even less if Nissan wants to turn a profit, as automakers are wont to do? Wrong.
Green Car Reports spoke to Nissan about these battery costs, and found that the automaker actually loses money on selling the replacement battery for the Leaf at the current price. Jeff Kuhlman, Nissan's vice president of global communications said, "Nissan makes zero margin on the replacement program. In fact, we subvent every exchange." All you English majors will know that "subvent" is a fancy way to say "subsidize." Kuhlman added, though, "We have yet to sell one battery as part of the program."
The fact that Nissan offers its replacement batteries for less than it costs to manufacture them is telling of a company both cares about what its customer needs and is dedicated to the success of its product. In this case, both of those things encourage people to give up fossil fuels and adopt electric mobility, which is heartening. As more people switch to battery-powered driving, though, battery technology should become better and cheaper, and the scale of production should cause manufacturing costs to decrease. Eventually, Nissan could easily see itself breaking even selling the Leaf battery replacements.
