-The Good This is a beautiful looking 1994 Nissan 300ZX with 180,000 original miles. This car has been garaged kept as evident by the pictures (no cracks on dash and all rubber/vinyl in excellent condition). This 300ZX is equipped with an automatic transmission, T-Tops, and leather interior. The car runs and drives very well. The 3.0L V6 engine runs very strong and smooth and the transmission shifts good. The tires are still like new. The brake pads are all in excellent condition as well. The suspension and steering is tight. The burgundy exterior of this 300ZX is glossy and brilliant over the entire body. There isn’t any rust on the body or on the lower rocker panels. Both of the bumpers are in excellent condition. The body is very straight and clean. The interior of this Nissan has been well maintained and is in great condition. The seats and carpeting are very fresh and clean with only minor wear. There aren’t any holes in any of the seats or front carpeting. The rear cargo area is in great shape. As I am not the original owner and do not smoke, there aren’t any smoke odors or burn marks inside this Nissan. The title is clean and clear without any liens or encumbrances. This is an excellent running 300ZX that should provide great service for many years to come. I commuted 150 miles a day for the last few months. No problems! Everything works including electric seats, windows, cruise control, and automatic climate control The Bad There is an oil leak which appears to be coming from the top of the engine.....although not a mechanic, it looks like a gasket. Not a major leak, several drops each time I drive it on my drip catch pan. Once in a while the check engine light comes on for a few minutes. Sometimes I go weeks without it on, then it comes on for a little while. Next time its off for weeks. There is a small rip (on the seam) of the passenger seat.......shown in the pictures. There is a small rip on the drivers door.....shown in the pictures. Air conditioner comes on, but is only cool.....needs recharging. I do not have the T-top carry bags but both T-Tops have factory sun shade. The rear spoiler has paint bubbles.......shown on pictures I have this vehicle advertised locally and reserve the right to remove listing should vehicle sell prior to auction end. Nissan Rogue, Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 recalled for loose lug nuts
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Nissan has announced a small recall affecting 334 vehicles built just a few months back. 2014 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder and 2014 Infiniti QX60 CUVs built between March 7 and March 10, 2014 could be susceptible to a loose lug nut on the passenger side wheels.
We shouldn't have to explain why a loose lug is a bit of an issue. Thankfully, it's also a ridiculously easy fix. Nissan obviously recommends reporting to your local dealer - and it will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles - but this is one of those rare recalls that has an easy DIY element to it.

Nissan New Micra headed for Canadian showroom after Montreal reveal?
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Fresh off news that Mitsubishi is bringing a sedan version of its Mirage, called the G4, to this month's Montreal Auto Show, we now believe that another small car will be debuting for our small-car-loving friends to the north. Word is that Nissan will be bringing its compact New Micra to the Canadian show, as well. Slotting in just below the Versa Note hatchback in terms of both size and price, the Montreal debut should be followed up with an on-sale date in short order.
We've been hearing rumors that the New Micra would end up in Canadian dealerships for some time. At every turn, however, we've also heard that the Franco-Japanese hatch is not intended for sale in the US, and nothing in this latest report from Autos.ca would seem to indicate otherwise. As Autoblog sources are quick to point out, Nissan already has one of the least-expensive offerings in the US, the $11,990 Versa Sedan, and the Japanese automaker just doesn't see room underneath it for another model. Sorry, Yank.
Nissan Juke-R pitted against Bugatti Veyron in brilliantly odd drag race
Mon, 10 Jun 2013The Nissan Juke-R must've been a tough car to build a business case for, yet the madcap little crossover with the heart of a GT-R is now a production reality. Admittedly, we should probably assign some quotes around "production," since the vehicle is being built on a one-by-one on-demand basis at extraordinary cost - at an estimated price of well over $600,000, it has little in common with the already bonkers everyday Juke. We're just happy it exists at all.
With 545 horsepower, we also didn't figure it needed more power. But that apparently hasn't stopped the tuning community, which probably only had to adapt performance adders designed for the GT-R to the mechanically similar CUV. Thus, we end up with this mile-long drag race, which pits a Bugatti Veyron against a Juke-R prepared by an outfit called Shpilli Villi Engineering with a claimed 700 horsepower. That's still well down on horsepower versus the legendary quad-turbo supercar, but the much smaller Nissan also figures to be a lot lighter while boasting similar all-wheel-drive traction. We don't have much more information to go on other than this video, and it doesn't appear that both drivers necessarily got their best runs in, but it certainly makes for jaw-dropping watching.
