Maroon, Straight Body, T-tops, Alarm on 2040-cars
Tucson, Arizona, United States
This car has a straight body and is mostly stock. The only upgrades are a new muffler. The car has been very well maintained since I have owned it. I have done oil change and filter, air filter, clutch fluid change, new slave cylinder, new window motor on drivers side, new custom color matched center console, new headlights, new brake pads, new spark plug wires, new radiator cap, shocks only have a couple thousands miles on them, new battery. Power steering pump was said to be replaced a year ago be previous owner. Previous owner also said to have rebuilt the turbo 20k-30k miles ago. Boost guage works when it wants to. The car is my second car and has functioned great, has never left me stranded and always starts. It runs a little loud, and my mechanic told me it was something with the exhaust. Also the clutch may need to be replaced soon, but still able to drive for the time being. Other then that this car needs to go because I need the money. I drove it on the highway on the days I drove it and it has been on a 8 hour roadtrip with no issues.
Fake Buyers will be reported On Oct-19-13 at 21:03:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Things I forgot to mention, the car has no radio (you can see in the picture), all the speakers are there just no radio. And obviously the car doesn't have a warranty on any kind still on it. The car still has stock wheel lock nuts in the trunk unused. |

Nissan wants an American driver for its Le Mans team
Sat, 20 Sep 2014
"We'll use every driver development tool we have to take them to the next level, but they will also have to step up." - Darren Cox
Nissan is aiming to put an American behind the wheel of one of its LMP1 racecars in 2016 as part of plans to grow its motorsports program in the United States.
Nissan Sentra, Buick LaCrosse to headline LA Auto Show
Wed, Oct 21 2015We're less than a month away from the start of the Los Angeles Auto Show, and automakers have been lining up their debuts for the upcoming left-coast expo. The latest announcement comes from the show's organizers who are eager to tout the global debuts slated for next month. Chief among them will be new versions of the Buick LaCrosse and Nissan Sentra. So far all we've seen of the 2017 LaCrosse is a glimpse at the front grille, but it's already promising to bring elements of the Avenir concept to the street. The original LaCrosse was launched in 2004 and was replaced in 2010 with the current model. The Sentra nameplate has been around much longer, but the current model was launched more recently in 2013. The new version spied recently while undergoing testing is promised to be a substantial update on that model, not a complete replacement, bringing it up to speed with the latest equipment and revised styling. This represents the first official confirmation we've received of when Nissan will be unveiling the new Sentra. Mitsubishi will also be on hand with its new Outlander Sport, as well as the redesigned Mirage. They'll be joined as well by new versions of a couple of high-end models that promise to resonate with the local crowds in tinseltown. Land Rover has chosen the LA show as a suitable venue to unveil the production Range Rover Evoque Convertible that will drop the top on one of the most stylish luxury crossovers on the market. And Porsche, as we know, is gearing up to hit the track with the new Cayman GT4 Clubsport - a customer racing version of the company's little two-seat, mid-engined sports car that's been lightly modified for motorsport competition. Of course these won't be the only new metal on display at the Californian auto expo. They'll be joined as well by the likes of the new Infiniti QX30, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Sportage, and Jaguar F-Pace - many of which we've already seen. Meanwhile companies like Fiat, Ford, Mazda, Mercedes, Subaru, Volvo, Volkswagen, and Elio Motors are keeping their plans under wraps for the time being. But with mere weeks to go, it won't be long before we see what they've got in store as well.
Apple iTunes Radio picks Nissan as first automotive launch partner
Tue, 24 Sep 2013With the launch of iOS 7 last week, those who carry around a certain fruit-branded cellphone got access to a new technology called iTunes Radio. Apple's delayed entry into a market currently dominated by service such as Spotify and Pandora, iTunes Radio allows users to create their own stations or to choose from a number of featured stations. From there, listeners can fine tune their results to deliver more popular songs or newer, deeper tracks. Each song is linked back to the iTunes store, allowing users to easily buy songs they fall in love with.
Now, Nissan has teamed with Apple as the exclusive launch partner for iTunes Radio. This partnership means you'll be seeing some Nissan-specific content when you're surfing through iTunes Radio, with some subtler stuff in the form of material and some not-so-subtle approaches, like Nissan's use of iAd, a system that allows developers to directly insert advertisements into apps. The focus at first will be on the upcoming Rogue, the redesigned Versa Note and the Leaf EV.
Nissan's vice president of marketing in North America, Jon Brancheau, explained the team up, saying, "We see iTunes Radio as an integral part of our new vehicle launches and 'big moments,' riding the wave of interest and usage of this exciting new service to maximize exposure of Nissan's new models." Take a look below for the rundown from Nissan.
