I took this vehicle in on trade. Is a 1990 300zx twin turbo.it does need work. It has no radio, and somebody also took the speakers out of the car.the driver's seat will not slide forward.I drove the car here a couple of days ago, but now its not running.as I said, I took this car in on trade. I have no desire to fix this car.it was idling well with no Knocks or ticks. It has an oil leak from the oil pan,and someone took the belt off the power steering due to leak in hose.there is one small spot on the body where the paint is bubbled up some as seen in pictures. Otherwise, the body seems to be pretty straight with a relatively fresh paint job.other than the stereo being pulled out, the interior is in real good shape. There's no sign of weeks from the T tops the seats are not torn, carpet seems to be generally OK.the car has a Greddy Profec II turbo timer and boost controller installed. The previous owner told me the problem with the car is in the turbo timer and boost controller. Again I have no desire to fix this. I know nothing about turbocharged cars.I know for a fact that the turbos do spool up and sound good. The car does have a new fan clutch. It is missing the fan shroud. I know it has upgraded injectors. 550 CC I believe. Also has upgraded fuel pump ,slotted and cross drilled rotors on all four tires, and the tires seem to be in decent shape.the car has stainless steel cat-back exhaust, and strut tower brace is both front and rearthe transmission in the car is tight. It ships well and the clutch feels pretty good. No grinds into gears.if you know how to work on and tune turbo cars this could be a steal for you. If the problem is as simple as tuning and the boost controller you could steal this car.the reality is I could strip this car for aftermarket parts, scrap what's left and get at least the start of my auction price.car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.will ship within the contiguous 48 States. Will assist in shipping / loading.feel free to use the Contact Seller option for any questions.thank u and happy bidding. SHIPS ALMOST ANYWHERE FOR 600 OR LESS!!!!

Nissan announces limited-edition 2014 GT-R in Midnight Opal

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

Nissan has unveiled the 2014 GT-R Special Edition. Finished in Midnight Opal paint, the GT-R SE will be limited to just 100 units worldwide, with 50 earmarked for the US.
With sales slated to start this fall, the Special Edition of the 545-horsepower GT-R tacks $6,000 on to the $105,590 price of a GT-R Premium. The hand-applied Midnight Opal paint isn't the only special item, though. Forged RAYS wheels are included in a ten-spoke design that's never before made it to American shores, and there's a dry carbon-fiber rear spoiler, similar in design and appearance to the one found on the GT-R Black and Track Editions. Finally, a gold-plated plaque has been fitted to single out the GT-R Special Edition from the very fast herd.
US sales of the GT-R SE are slated to begin in September. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Nissan Rogue redesigned with three rows for 2014

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Nissan has been on a roll lately, redesigning its core model line with all-new versions of the Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra and Versa Note released this year. But the Japanese automaker wouldn't leave out the Rogue, its second-best-selling model in the US.
Like the Range Rover Sport, Mitsubishi Outlander and Ford Explorer, the second-generation Nissan Rogue has gained an optional third row of seats for seven-passenger capability. Along with the middle and rear rows, the front passenger seat can also be folded flat for the benefit of cargo capacity, and the cabin has been redesigned for an airier look and feel.
Despite the added space inside, the new Rogue is only marginally larger than the model it replaces, with a 0.6-inch longer wheelbase offset by shorter overhangs front and rear. A lower drag coefficient ought to help reduce wind noise and improve fuel consumption as well.

Nissan to give Qashqai the Nismo treatment

Sat, 30 Nov 2013

Nismo is on a bit of a rampage lately. Once consigned to the fringes, Nissan has taken its performance sub-brand into the mainstream and let it loose on a whole mess of its products. The Juke Nismo was followed by a 370Z Nismo, and in Los Angeles, we saw the GT-R Nismo, Sentra Nismo concept and Juke Nismo RS.
So what's next from Nismo? According to the latest intel from across the pond, Nissan is working on a tuned version of its new Qashqai. Car magazine is reporting that the larger crossover will get the same 1.6-liter turbo four as the Juke Nismo, but with the RS model's 212-horsepower out and not the "base" model's 197. Expect all the other bells and whistles applied to transform a Nissan model into a Nismo one to apply as well.
If the Qashqai name doesn't ring any proverbial bells for you, that's alright, because it's only sold overseas, where it's one of Nissan's most popular models. The crossover (which looks like the new Rogue but is a substantially different model) was recently completely replaced, with engine options ranging up to 150 horsepower - so the jump to over 200 should make for quite a different beast altogether. Whether a parallel or subsequent program to give the Rogue a similar treatment is another matter, but given the pace at which Nismo seems to be running, that may only be a matter of time.
