This is a very rare, especially for Hawaii 1996 300zx N/A Commemorative Edition 189 of 300. Has all original parts. It is in amazing shape. Every mechanic that has seen the condition of the car is very impressed with it and go out of their way to tell me. The only reason that I'm getting rid of it is because I'm looking to get a more practical car for every day use and want to find someone that will take care of the car the way it deserves to be.
75,000 Miles
Clean Title (No Wrecks)
Commemorative Edition (#189 of 300) Has Dash Plaque and unique VIN number.
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Original Black paint with some clear coat damage on the rear bumper and minor paint chips from driving. Also has some minor yellow paint scrapes on front bumper (visible in images)
Tan leather and suede interior. A couple of cracks on drivers seat. Passenger seat in perfect condition. Steering wheel in perfect condition. Small crack on center console. Even includes original cassette player. Rear speakers need replaced. Wired for Subs. All other interior parts in near mint condition. Antenna was broken off in car wash so you might want to replace it but radio still works just fine. T-tops come with privacy screens and 1 T-top bag. Cruise control, power windows, power driver's seat, passenger door unlocks and locks when driver's door is unlocked/locked. Air conditioning and heating works. There is little to no rust on the car. None that I can see anywhere.
Am not a smoker, no one has been allowed to smoke in the car.
Am not a heavy person, no damage done to seats by over-weight people
Timing belt and water pump recently replaced. Fuel injectors and seals replaced last month. Nissan dealership in Waipio changed oil and did mulit-point inspection yesterday, everything is green on inspection checklist.
This is a very rare and very nice car. I have had several offers already on the car, just wasn't looking to sell it yet. You very likely won't find another commemorative edition 300zx in Hawaii, especially for sale at this reasonable price. $13,000.

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015
Tue, Feb 11 2014Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper. For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011. The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors. While the adoption of SAE J2807 will be helpful for light-duty customers, those interested in bigger trucks will still be left with differing standards. There is no sign of the new tow standards being adopted for the heavy-duty market.

Panoz mulls suing Nissan for ZEOD RC's Deltawing likeness
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Imitation might be the sincerest form of flattery, but in racing, where something as simple as a car's shape can lead to a competitive advantage, imitation can be a big no-no. That reality is being played out right now, with the DeltaWing prototype and the Nissan ZEOD RC. The two cars, as you can see from the images above, bear a striking resemblance to each other. They're so similar, in fact, that Dr. Don Panoz, one of the big names behind the DeltaWing program, is assigning some legal eagles to investigate any patent infringement.
The similarity shouldn't be a shock, though. Both cars are penned by Ben Bowlby, and the DeltaWing - which will be arriving as a coupe in the very near future - had Nissan branding and power for a not-insignificant amount of time. But for Panoz, the ZEOD RC's resemblance is just a bit too much, as he told Autoweek, "It's been interesting to watch people from Nissan trying to dodge the question, but the fact is that in their own press release they admit that the configuration of the ZEOD is the same as the DeltaWing. And we do have patents, in fact another one was just issued last week. We are in discussions with our legal advisors and we'll see what happens."
Frankly, it's not difficult to see what Panoz means. The general shape of the ZEOD RC, with its wide rear track and narrow front track arrangement - not to mention the headlights mounted over the rear wheel arches and any arrangements not visible under the body - are so reminiscent of the DeltaWing that differences like the shape of its closed cockpit and more upright front end might not prove different enough to avert Panoz's legal action. We'll stay with this one and let you know as more becomes available.
