1990 300zx with 170k good miles.  Timing belt done @ 150k

This is NOT a Turbo car, the original owner added the turbo spoiler and bumper

I drive this car everyday and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere

This is not a perfect Z and my price reflects that.  I will list all areas of concern, please read on

Cons:

The paint on the car is shiny however does have blemishes here and there, nicks and scratches here and there, nothing not consistent with a 23 year old car.

The two rear wheel wells have rust starting that can easily be fixed or covered up - look at pics, nothing terrible

The rear bumper will need a repaint

Tail light has spider cracks however they function as they should

Driver seat and door panel is worn-see pics

I installed a new JVC Radio with ipod and aux hookup but I must have done something wrong as it does not work properly and will need to be done professionally

Small exhaust leak that can be patched.  Does not affect driveability

Need some mats

Pros:

T-Tops DO NOT Leak like alot of other Z--cars out there

Timing belt and water Pump done approx 20k miles ago along with coils and NGK plugs

AC System completely serviced (many of these Z cars have non functioning AC systems) and ICE COLD

New Fuel Pump and Filter

The old speedometer broke.  I replaced with a used one with 152k miles - see pic

NEW $700 Tires

Previous owner only used Premium 93 Octane Gas and Castrol Syntec Oil.  I continued to do the same

Many extra parts that I have collected are included with the sale

T-Top shades and covers are included

I would drive this car anywhere

Fly in to Newark Int'l Airport (EWR) and drive home

Financial issues are forcing this sale or I would not be selling

Please message me or call with any questions 201 233 4938

I tried my best to list the car as honestly and best I can.  Local buyers are encouraged to come see and test drive the Z.  Please contact me and i can help with Shipping if that is what you prefer.

Nissan GT-R goes on Rockies Alberta adventure with Epic Drives

Fri, 24 Oct 2014

Years after its original debut, the Nissan GT-R remains a much-feared, well-regarded entry in the sports car landscape. Sure, many of its original competitors are onto new generations these days, but Nissan has continually improved the GT-R, giving it meaningful tweaks almost every year since it came to the US market for 2009. Reviewers also just seem to keep finding things to praise about the all-wheel drive, turbocharged coupe. In this episode of Epic Drives, the GT-R proves that in addition to being a quite pleasant road trip companion around the province of Alberta, Canada, in a pinch it can go off-road to herd some horses, too.
At its heart, Epic Drives amounts to half travelogue and half driving review. So in between snaking the GT-R through some picturesque roads, host Arthur St. Antoine takes a tour of Alberta and the Canadian Rockies. If you're in the mood to take a drive in the Nissan through a landscape that blends the looks of a prairie, the Alps and fjords, then have a seat and check this video out.

2015 Nissan Murano could have been a lot more boring to look at

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

When it debuted at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the third-generation Nissan Murano wowed us more than just about any other car on hand (that's sort of why we handed it an Editors' Choice for the NYIAS). It's sharp, aggressive design was a dramatic departure from the smoother styling of the second-gen CUV, although it wasn't too polarizing. Most importantly, though, it was a vehicle with actual design presence - you want to see it from every angle, all of which draw your eye with something new.
Of course, settling on the design for a new vehicle is far from a straightforward process. While a design might take shape on a designer's drafting table, there are a huge number of steps it needs to get through before making it to an auto show stage or to your local dealer. According to Nissan engineer Chris Reed, those steps very nearly curtailed the Murano's design before the first die was even cast.
Reed has a full account of this sharp design's trials and tribulations in a must-read story from Ward's.

Nissan gives us the business on the art of clay modeling

Sat, 06 Apr 2013

The team from The Dashboard recently stopped by the Nissan Technical Center in Japan for a look at what exactly goes into creating a full-scale clay model. While automakers have been using clay bucks for decades, designers and engineers are now combining computer renderings and hand-sculpted clay models to determine how a new vehicle will look in our world. Engineers use specially formulated clay kept warm in an oven to bring the body panels to life. They then coat the clay in a thin plastic film to add body color for the final look.
By the time everything is said and done, workers may have hundreds of hours in the model's creation. So, what happens when the company no longer needs the buck? They get scrapped. Someone comes in and dismantles the whole creation. We presume that action is set to the wailing tears of everyone who had a hand in building the model. Check out the video below for a closer look.
