Description:

The car has been state side since 2001 when the previous owner brought the car here and completed all of the paperwork to register the vehicle. The previous owner parked the car for many years until he sold it. Once I got the vehicle I replaced a few things here and there over the years. I have driven the car daily at periods. Overall I have not driven the car very much and I hope whoever buys it will drive the car more to enjoy it. The car runs and drives good. Car is still running stock boost and boost good. The car handles and rides good. Transmission shifts smooth. I have driven the car on a few long distance trips. The engine does run good but could always use a tune up. The engine runs on all cylinders and does not misfire. I have change somethings over the years but no longer have time to enjoy it.

The AC was converted to R134a using new AC lines with the correct fittings. New AC Dryer and expansion valve was installed. The AC blows ice cold.

All of the electronics in the vehicle work including the power folding mirrors. The daytime running fog lights work also. The factory radio however does not work.

The exterior of the car is in decent shape. Paint overall is pretty good but does have a couple of dings and chips. Paint on the passenger side skirt looks like it spider up when painting. Interior needs TLC. The dash does have a crack. The interior is pretty much original and needs some TLC to get it looking like new again. Could also use a new front windshield as it has wiper marks on it.

Things which were recently replaced

New OEM Nissan EFI harness (RHD Harness)
New OEM Nissan Cowl
New valve cover gaskets
New Clutch
New Clutch Slave
New Clutch Master Cylinder
Water plenum bypass
New Accessory Belts
New AC Dryer
New AC expansion valve
New Battery

Mods:
Stillen Type III Front Lip
Stillen Side Skirts
Stillen Nose Panel
Specialty Z 2.5in Test Pipes
Specialty Z 2.5in Super Split Down Pipes
Aluminum Radiator
Lowering Springs
JWT Pop Charger
HKS Turbo Timer
Momo Steering Wheel
Momo Hub

Also have a few extra interior trim panels that I'm including with the car which are in the trunk.

Needs tires as the stock ones are old, out of round, and not in good shape. The tires are flat spotted and out of balance resulting in vibration at the steering wheel.

If you have any questions please email me and I will respond promptly. Please do not e-mail me asking for my lowest price. Make a serious offer!

Nissan presents NV200 is the brave new face of London taxis [w/video]

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

In most cities, just about any vehicle can serve as a taxi - so long as it meets the owner/operator's requirements for reliability, comfort and utility. But certain cities have their own unique taxis, and Nissan has been working hard to corner those markets. It has already designed specific taxis for such locations as New York, Barcelona and Tokyo, but its latest effort will bring a new Hackney Carriage to the streets of London.
A year and a half ago, Nissan displayed its NV200 on the streets of London in traditional black livery. But this new design takes the customization for the British capital one step further. Working closely with the mayor's office and with cab drivers across the city, Nissan's European design center in the Paddington district has reskinned the NV200 specifically to serve as the new black cab in London. The new face features round headlights, a new grille, LED lighting and a restyled front bumper. The steering has also been reconfigured to meet the 25-foot turning circle requirements for Hackney Carriages, as the black cabs are known on the streets of London.
The result is a distinctly British take on the NV200 taxi - one that we're guessing won't go without its fair share of controversy. Nissan will begin offering the black cab at the end of the year with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine mated to an automatic transmission, a powertrain said to be cleaner than the diesels used in existing taxis. And Nissan should know, having supplied many of those 2.7-liter turbodiesels in the '80s and '90s. But if that's not clean enough, the Japanese automaker will also begin selling an electric version, the e-NV200, starting next year. Watch the video clip and read the full details in the press release below.

Nissan recalls over 120,000 Altimas due to... spare tire inflation?!

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

A pressure regulator that over- or underinflated spare tires for five days earlier this year has led to a recall of 123,308 units of the 2013 Nissan Altima. Sedans that were manufactured from March 21-26 are those possibly affected by the temporary tire snafu, the recall for which will begin on May 3.
Those notified of the issue can take their sedans to their local Nissan dealer, who will check the tire pressure and correct it if necessary, but we imagine owners can probably just whip out a tire gauge to check and adjust the inflation for themselves. Should you need it, there's an official notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below with a few more details.

Recharge Wrap-up: Toyota FCV ready for production, Nissan tests Leaf-to-Home energy management

Fri, Oct 17 2014

Toyota will begin selling its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (FCV) in Japan in December. The US and Europe can expect to see the car become available next summer. The FCV, which will likely be called "Mirai" (meaning "future") in Japan, is ready for production ahead of its initial deadline at the end of the fiscal year in March. Toyota planned for annual production of 700 units, but might increase output to meet higher-than-expected demand, which is currently nearing 1,000 units. The cars will mostly be sold in the four cities where a hydrogen fueling infrastructure is already being put in place: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Read more at Nikkei Asian Review. Nissan is testing the Leaf EV as part of an energy management system including "Leaf to Home" technology. The system allows the Leaf to help support the power grid during peak energy usage, or provide backup power to a home or building during outages, particularly in emergencies like natural disasters. Using the Leaf's battery to provide electricity during peak hours would lessen the demand on the grid and make the system work more efficiently. Furthermore, if consumers are compensated for the energy saved by using the Leaf for power during periods of high demand, it could encourage more people to adopt the EV. CDP keeps track of how much companies are disclosing about their impact on global climate change. "The need for data on corporate climate change impacts and strategies to reduce them has never been greater," says CDP CEO Paul Simpson. "For this reason we congratulate those businesses that have achieved a position on CDP's Climate Disclosure Leadership Index." Other perfect scores were earned by Nissan, BMW, Daimler and General Motors. Read more in the press release from Honda below. Scientists at Stanford University have developed a lithium ion battery that can warn users before it overheats. A thin layer of copper between the anode and the layer separating the anode from the cathode acts as a sensor. When it detects lithium buildups from overcharging are approaching the separator, it sends an early alert long before it gets to a point where it would cause a short (which could lead to a fire). The new safety measure could be used in all sorts of battery applications, and not be limited to EVs. Learn more at Phys.org.
