This 1990 Nissan 300zx is well maintained, and in great shape.   The interior is absolutely flawless.   Paint is in very good shape.  Odometer reads only 78,344 miles!!  Car is 100% stock and has never been modified.   The only thing not factory in the car is the radio, which is an Alpine CD player with MP3 capability.   Clean Connecticut Title in hand with current emissions.

The car has been well maintained and garaged, and it shows.   No major dings or dents, and the clearcoat really shines!
  • Tires are in great shape and are Yokohama AVS ES100 245/45/16 tires.
  • Everything on the car works as it should
  • AC blows cold
  • Non Smokers car. No Smell no burns in anything.
  • No check engine lights, and current CT emissions.
  • MINT interior. No cracks or rips anywhere.
  • Still has OEM Floormats in mint condition
  • Black paint on T Top and Windshield trim is peeling
  • Paint spidering on driver's quarter panel above gas tank.  Not noticeable from more than 5 feet.
  • Light scuffs on Rear Bumper
  • Slight blur in paint on passenger pillar.
  • Rear Spoiler paint finish slightly different than the rest of the car
I have tried to best describe the car as honestly as possible.  If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me.

I can email higher resolution pictures if you would like.   The car can be seen in person, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, and Saturday from 9am-2pm.

Next Nissan GT-R to take cues from GT-R LM Nismo Le Mans entry

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

For those wondering why Nissan named its coming Le Mans Prototype the GT-R LM Nismo, colliding the two worlds of sports car and prototype racing, an article in Autocar might have the answer. The deeper union is explained by saying that the next-generation GT-R will use "hybrid technology that will closely align it" with the GT-R LM Nismo.
The point could be further driven home by the fact that the GT-R LM Nismo will begin its FIA endurance racing campaign next year, and the next GT-R is due to debut next year as a 2016 model. The expectation is that it will use a hybrid system possibly dubbed R-Hybrid and perhaps developed by Williams. Just like performance car makers Ferrari and Audi, Nissan wants its racing efforts to pay off with road car technology, company vice president Andy Palmer saying they "want to link technological linkages between future evolutions of the GT-R and evolutions of what we do in LMP1, and the two do go in both directions."
The bigger question is, with the GT-R getting hybrid assistance, will it also get the weight gain that usually comes with it? Enthusiasts would love to see the trend reversed, especially on a car that's already no lightweight.

Infiniti's new Design Director is American Alfonso Albaisa

Fri, 10 May 2013

The man responsible for creating the sleek 2010 Nissan Ellure Concept you see above is now the design director for Infiniti. Alfonso Albaisa (shown at right) has been a member of the Nissan design team for 25 years, but was recently promoted to executive design director for the Infiniti brand.
His past roles at Nissan have included design director for Nissan from 2004 to 2007, vice president of Nissan Design Europe from 2007 to 2011, vice president of Nissan Design America in 2011 and, most recently, he held the title of Nissan's global design director. Aside from Ellure, Albaisa was also responsible for designing the 2012 Nissan Xtrem Concept, "key strategic production vehicles soon to be launched" and he's even contributed to a handful of Infiniti designs. Scroll down for the official press release.

Did Nissan send a ringer GT-R to run the 'Ring? [w/video]

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

It turns out that after toting a 7:08 time around the fearsome Nürburgring Nordschleife for the new Nismo-tuned GT-R, Nissan might not have been entirely honest about the car it was using. From what we've been hearing from a few different publications, the GT-R featured in the video isn't what we're going to see on the production model.
PistonHeads reported on the so-called "Time Attack" GT-R while it was in Japan for the Tokyo Motor Show, going so far as to detail the differences between it and the standard GT-R Nismo. And friends, this isn't just a matter of swapping tires. The mods made to the Time Attack car are far more comprehensive.
For a start, the TA produces more downforce thanks to larger aerodynamic pieces. It's some 110 pounds lighter than the standard car, thanks to new bucket seats. The ECU and dampers have been swapped for new units, and the brake pads are different as well. If you've read this far, you might be feeling slightly angry or betrayed that Nissan is toting numbers for a modified car. Don't be.
