1990 Nissan 300zx Turbo Coupe 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Whitestone, New York, United States
I purchased this car approximately 5 years ago. This car has always been in a climate control garage. I do drive the car, on the weekend mostly, weather permitting. I did some minor modifications, Cat-Back Borla exhaust, Jim Wolf Computer upgrade, K&N air filter, Z1 Side Mount Intercoolers, Z1 larger Intake pipes, blow-off valves, Replaced air filter panel (painted red above front bumper). Based on what I read, the car has 400+ HP. I do have the original air filter box and exterior air filter panel. The car is meticulously cared for, I changed the timing belt, water pump, upgraded the brakes and rotors, replaced the rear shocks. I was told by the second owner, the first owner was woman who drove the car a few miles a day to work. He purchased the car from the woman since he is a car collector himself. This car was nostalgic, he met his wife and drove his first child home in the same car when he was younger. He was looking to downsize his fleet and home since his kids were going to college. I purchased the car because this was my favorite car while going to high school. The car speaks for itself, still turns heads. All I can say is if you are seriously interested, please make an appointment to see the car. I am listing this car for sale locally as well. I reserve the right to cancel your bid. |

Nissan to unveil next-gen Qashqai on Nov. 7
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Never heard of the Nissan Qashqai? That's alright, because Nissan has a big crossover lineup, and this one is only sold overseas. But in the markets where it's available, it's been an unbridled success and the cash-cow its name suggests. It was introduced in 2007, and by the end of that year, Nissan had already sold 100,000 of them in Europe alone. By 2011 it had made a million of them, and to date has sold over two million worldwide. And now it's preparing to launch an all-new model to replace it.
Spied while undergoing development a few months ago, Nissan has now announced that it will reveal the new Qashqai on November 7th. But to keep us on our toes, the Japanese automaker has released this teaser image.
Cloaked and looking like something out of Tron, the new Qashqai promises to borrow heavily from the Resonance concept shown earlier this year in Detroit (a bit ironic since the Qashqai isn't sold here) and follow the lead of the new Rogue (or X-Trail as its known in markets where it shares showroom floorspace with the Qashqai).
Nissan's Taxi of Tomorrow shut down by NYC courts [UPDATE]
Tue, 08 Oct 2013Justice Schlomo Hagler may have just put a big dent in Nissan's plans to rule New York City's taxi fleets and outgoing Mayor Mike Bloomberg's vision of a unified fleet of yellow cabs.
As an October 28 deadline approached that would see all current, non-hybrid taxis replaced over by the Nissan NV200 over a three-to-five-year span, the legal battle that's enveloped the Taxi of Tomorrow program from the start has intensified. In a lawsuit, the Greater New York Taxi Association claims New York's Taxi and Limousine Commission overstepped its powers in mandating that taxi fleets are refitted with the NV200, according to the New York Daily News. This isn't the first time the courts have sided with the cabbies in the ToT debate.
Justice Hagler agreed with the cabbies, striking down the Taxi of Tomorrow purchasing requirements, and saying, "Simply stated, the power to contract and compel medallion owners to purchase the Nissan NV200 from Nissan for ten years does not exist in the City Charter," according to The Wall Street Journal.
2015 Nissan Altima pricing released, V6 gets MPG bump
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Nissan has announced a range of moderate enhancements for its 2015 Altima sedan, starting with a one-mile-per-gallon increase in the highway fuel economy of the top-tier, 3.5-liter V6 engine. The six-pot now returns 32 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city.
The 3.5 SV and 3.5 SL, the mid and top-end six-cylinder trims, also get NissanConnect with Navigation, blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning. Prices, though, see a commensurate increase.
The starting price for a base, 2.5-liter four-cylinder Altima has been nudged up by $130, to $22,300, not counting the $810 destination charge. The 2.5 S model is down $130, though, to $22,560. Meanwhile, the top-end four-cylinder models, the SV and SL see their prices increase by $380 and $230, respectively.
