This is a 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT. It is being sold as is, it is a rebuild vehicle. I dont have time to work on the car due to traveling a lot. I did have this car for more but I had to many questions about the title. I dont really have time to go and register the vehicle for a title, so I am dropping the reserve price on the car. The car does run, I did some test videos that I posted on youtube, below are the lynks. The one thing I do want to mention is the filter that is sticking out of the bumper, I bought an aftermarket filter that was too big for the spacing...all you need to do is get a stock size one, that wont be too expensive. Either way the videos show a lot of info, contact me if you are really interested, this is a great deal(price), I wouldnt be selling it if i had the time to finish the car. these are just a few linqs on my page....check them out.... http://www.youtube.co/watch?v=kwjZbY7RLE8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoio8sOp2wo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI-BnM9C3jA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-iUjNnaBog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqBHxRM68zM

Nissan GT-R goes 183 mph on ice in Russia

Sat, 06 Apr 2013

When a pair of Russian pilots wanted to set a local ice-speed record, they chose a stock Nissan GT-R for the task. Roman Rusinov, a Russian race car driver, and Andrey Leontjev, a Russian auto journalist, took Godzilla to Lake Baikal and ran it up to 294.8 kilometers per hour (182.8 miles per hour) across frozen stuff estimated to be 1.4 meters thick.
While the worldwide record of 205.48 mph was set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Supersports Convertible, the mark achieved by Rusinov and Leontjev establishes a new Russian record. Well done, boys. You can watch it all go down in the video below.

Infiniti puts EV plans on hold again

Thu, Jan 22 2015

Think of it as the green-automotive industry's version of Groundhog Day. Nissan's Infiniti division is putting plans for its first mass-production electric vehicle on hold. Again. The Infiniti LE, whose concept version was unveiled 2012's New York Auto Show, is again being put up on the proverbial blocks, USA Today says, citing a presentation by Infiniti executive Michael Bartsch at a recent company event in Detroit. Essentially, the Nissan division has bigger fish to fry, in the form of boosting overall Infiniti sales, and doesn't yet want to put the effort into introducing the Infiniti LE. The Infiniti EV plans were first postponed by then-Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen during the summer of 2013, as de Nysschen wasn't quite buying into Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn's ambitious electric vehicle sales projections. De Nysschen resigned last summer to join General Motors' Cadillac division. One issue may be the fact that the Infiniti wouldn't be all that different from the Nissan Leaf. Despite the fact that US sales of that EV surged 34 percent last year compared to 2013, to 30,200 vehicles, an Infiniti version was apparently not enough of a selling point within the company. While the Infiniti is sportier looking than the Leaf and would boast inductive, wireless charging, it would have a similar power output and single-charge range as the Leaf.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: February 2013

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

I took the keys to our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder from Editor-in-Chief Neff (who left me with an empty gas tank, for the record) directly following the Detroit Auto Show. That means that, by the time you all read this, I'll have been in possession of the Pathfinder for more time, and driven it more miles than any Autoblogger so far. I'd like to think that I've made good use of it... with one small exception.
For those of you that live outside of the Snow Belt and who may routinely ignore the Weather Channel out of cocky certainty - I'm looking at you, American Southwest - there's been some real weather in our part of the world this winter. A year ago, I'd basically packed up my shovel and my driveway salt by Valentine's Day; while the last quarter of 2012 and beginning of 2013 have seen back-wrenching piles of snow fall on and around my Michigan home. Good times, in other words, to test the all-weather capabilities of our all-wheel-drive Pathfinder.
