This is a PERFECT example of what a 300ZX Coupe (Not a 2+2!) should be.
Currently with 47,000 miles on it, this Z is a 2-owner car who's most
recent owner (elderly female) bought it back in 1991 with only 13k miles
on it. She passed in 2011 and I bought the car in her estate. I have
spent a good amount of time bringing this car basically back to showroom
condition. The carfax will show this car has never been in an accident
and is completely clean. Here are some highlights about the car
- The exterior is excellent - The interior is excellent - The ride/driveability is excellent To dive further into detail, I am one of the midwest's premier Z specialist. I have owned approx 15-20 of these cars and serviced almost 100. I spared no expense or time making this Z perfect. I would be happy to show you my other work, additional pictures, or even video of this car to build your confidence. I used Nissan OEM parts exclusively because of the quality and fitment. Here is a list of what has been done. - Complete repaint. Removed all the dents/dings and used a factory color (Aztec Red) The outside looks amazing - Complete engine overhaul. I painstakingly went through every last detail in this engine to include new injectors, new timing belt, timing belt tensioner, idler pulleys, idler studs, water pump, thermostat, water bypass hoses, New battery. All 3 belts (AC, PS, Alt & H2O) replaced. Oil Change, Coolant Flush, and Trans fluid Flush performed 2 months ago. - AC System Retrofit to R134 and blows ice cold - I've removed the stock stereo system and installed a nice Alpine CDE-143BT bluetooth CD player and Memphis speakers. Stream pandora from your phone to the CD player wirelessly. - Tires are in GC, Brakes were replaced using Wagner Thermoquiet pads. If you are looking for a Z that needs absolutely nothing, this is the one for you. Hop in, fire it up and take it out on those beautiful days without worry you'll need any maintenance anytime soon. I have worked on ~100 Z's and this one is one of the nicest Z's I've ever owned and/or driven. Competitively priced! On Dec-10-13 at 13:31:25 PST, seller added the following information: |

Nissan testing experimental dealer with no desks or offices
Wed, 26 Mar 2014Nissan thinks it has found a better way to sell cars, and it involves stripping showrooms of everything but the cars and sales team. The brand calls the experiment the Nissan New Retail Concept, and it might get tested in the US in a few years.
The concept is relatively simple. Showrooms ditch offices, reception counters, cubicles and desks. Instead salespeople walk around inside and outside the dealer with mobile devices to assist customers and even complete sales. Associates are trained to take immediate responsibility for each visitor they encounter. For example, if owners comes inside with a problem with their vehicle, the employee escorts them to the service department and introduces them.
A dealer in London has been testing the new layout for the last nine months, and so far it reports better customer satisfaction, loyalty and most importantly higher sales. Nissan next plans to launch test stores in Moscow and Stuttgart. Then it will broaden out to more of Western Europe and finally will be tested in the Japan, the US and the Middle East, according to Automotive News.
2014 Nissan Altima gets updated equipment, prices
Thu, 08 Aug 2013The fifth-generation Nissan Altima is heading into its second year, and to mark the occasion, it's getting updated pricing, some visual and tactile enhancements and new option packages. First up are the physical changes: All 2014 Altima models will have chrome exhaust tips, revised seat cloth (when not fitted with leather) and better noise isolation. Check the option box for the new Sport Value Package, and the Altima also will come equipped with 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and remote engine start.
But those aren't the most important updates for 2014. Nissan is showcasing the expanded functionality of its NissanConnect system, which works with Android and iPhone handsets. Applications will be introduced in the fall and launch with Google search and Facebook, later to be joined by iHeartRadio and Pandora. NissanConnect with navigation system (separate from NissanConnect applications) will be capable of running SiriusXM Travel Link for data including weather, fuel prices and movie times. In addition, there are changes to other option groups, including a revised Technology Package and a new Display Audio Package, the specifics of which can be found in the official release.
As for pricing, the changes are pretty minimal, with the base 2.5 CVT starting at $21,860 and the full-boat 3.5 SL CVT topping out at $30,660 before options and a $790 destination fee. You can compare those figures with 2013 pricing here, and see the full rundown of all the trim level prices by scrolling below.
Here's how to follow this weekend's 24 Hours of Le Mans
Thu, Jun 11 2015In the pantheon of motorsports, the 24 Hours of Le Mans stands as one of the great endurance challenges to man and machine. This year's event in France already looks to be one for the ages with Porsche setting record-breaking times in practice and the competition debut of Nissan's front-engine, hybrid racer. Thankfully, there's a massive list of ways to follow this automotive attraction. Reilly Brennan, the Executive Director of the Revs Automotive Research Program at Stanford University, and a friend of Autoblog, has once again assembled a helpful couch-kit to organize many of the options. Unfortunately, the old-school way of just turning on the television might be the most frustrating way to watch Le Mans this year. Fox Sports 1 and 2 are carrying about half the race, but the coverage bounces between them seemingly at random. The broadcast begins on Fox Sports 2 at 8:30 AM Eastern ahead of the 9:00 AM start and lasts there until 12:00 PM. Things don't pick up again until 7:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports 1 for an hour, and the channels swap back and forth more from there. The Fox Sports Go streaming app offers more, but even it stops showing the race a few times. Thankfully, streaming Le Mans is easy. If you can't dedicate 24-hours on the couch, Radio Le Mans lets you listen to audio commentary anywhere with some of the best announcers in the biz. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the governing body for the race, also offers an official video stream in an app for $9.99. For a really low-tech solution, the official Twitter is another choice. Brennan is keeping his list updated with coverage changes. You can also check out and download the spotter's guide (from Nissan) in the gallery above. Enjoy this year's race. If you miss anything, don't worry; expect a full report from Autoblog. In fact, editor-in-chief Mike Austin is attending Le Mans this year, so follow him on Twitter for on-the-fly impressions.
