I'm sorry to all the bidders that bid on the listing that got deleted but I ended it because I want to put on better pictures. I would like at least $5,000. Great condition. its not perfect. It has its dents and scratches. All original. Rims shine! This car is a head turner and don't be surprised if people ask you to race them. I've had Porsche's challenge me. Car runs Great. Sounds amazing. New oil, oil filter, spark plugs. Car is a 5 speed. Great clutch. Radio does not work. Radio itself turns on and functions just needs new speakers all around. Seats are fine. Dash pad has cracks. I've seen them online for 100 bucks, not a big deal. All lights work. Everything in this car is electric except for the rear windows. Those have levers. This car is a 2+2 but the rear seats are missing. Clean title. This car was from Florida it was well maintained and I'm going to be honest it has power! All doors work all windows car is excellent for being 31 years old! Everything works on dash. No heat but blows cold A/C. Great summer car! 130,000 original miles. It gets 20 mpg. Cruise control works. Does need new tires. I could go all day but don't have time. Car is originally from Jacksonville, Florida as you can see in the report. It has 3 owners. >> https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/t1.0-9/10310620_287310991445970_8612457262842975651_n.jpg << >> https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/t1.0-9/10275978_287310968112639_7930998839890430247_n.jpg << >> https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/t1.0-9/10271598_287311024779300_1035764984141074267_n.jpg << Copy each link and paste them in your address bar(One at a time). NA auto output to reach 11-year peak

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

According to Automotive News, automakers are expected to manufacture 16 million light vehicles in North America in 2013. That's up 500,000 units from last year and marks the largest number since 2002. The prediction comes courtesy of LMC Automotive and IHS Automotive, which point to the improving US economy as a bellwether for total production. LMC Automotive says North America will produce 16 million vehicles while IHS has a slightly more optimistic forecast of 16.1 million units. A total of seven automakers are slated to increase production on the continent this year. Nissan is set to see the largest jump at 20 percent over last year.
Volkswagen, meanwhile, is one of the only manufacturers predicted to scale back production. Analysts expect the German company's output to fall by 23 percent to 170,000 units, thanks in part to slow demand for the Volkswagen Passat and Jetta.

Watch Nissan prank unsuspecting test drivers with GT Academy

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

Nissan's reality show/motorsports program, GT Academy, is set to return to Spike TV for its fourth season on Friday, and in anticipation, the Nismo team has issued a new video that gives some of its fans a taste of the racing lifestyle.
It all starts innocently enough, with fans test-driving a 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo, only to have a sudden stop quickly transforms things into something a bit more exuberant and special. We won't spoil the details, so take a look at the video for yourself, and then head into Comments and let us know what you think.
GT Academy will air on Spike TV, Friday nights at 11:30 PM Eastern.

A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]

Thu, Dec 18 2014

Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
