1995 - Mitsubishi 3000gt on 2040-cars
North Palm Beach, Florida, United States
I never saw me doing this....but....... First off, I like to comment that is has been a privilege to own this car. I have enjoyed its beauty, elegance and rarity every time it left my garage...My family status has changes since then and due to relocation to another country it's probably best to offer her to the next caretaker.....as I do not drive it practically at all... I DO OWN THIS CAR WITH A CLEAR TITLE!!!! With FULL DOCUMENTED MILES. Mitsubishi and ASC in California created 877 VR4 (twin turbo) Spyders. There are not that many left remaining today. This example is probably and most likely- the nicest and most perfect VR4 Spyder let alone 3000gt in existence....and most likely the Richest 3000gt Ever.....more money has been spent on this car than any Spyder I know. All....All records will come with this car and you will be baffled to see that over 140k has been spent and invested in this car. The factory books....window sticker...automotive literature....car magazines that covered the Spyder, the factory downpipe and the aftermarket down pipe......both with factory ports for the O2 sensor. This car to this day is one of the nicest road cars and driving cars I've had. EVERYTHING on this car has been Perfectly Maintained...all things were fixed that ever malfunctioned. The retractable hardtop has also received the software and hardware recall update back in 1997. This 3000gt needs absolutely Nothing..... Some of the Highlights of the car....but too many to mention. 35,000 in paintwork including the Veilside body kit conversion in 2000...including front turn signals and rear taillights by Renowned artist Hal Loo who owns Airworx in Phoenix Arizona Full EXPENSIVE....VEILSIDE Bodykit...modified to custom conform to cars body and allow retaining inner fender well liners. New Windshield with Clearplex protector New Tires with custom drilled 19"x8 Zenetti wheels Full Custom Red Interior with yellow piping. Zenon Headlights Full "DTS" 7.1 Theater Soundsystem with Navigation and in Dash Televisions....including televisions in the Headrests. Voice activation and XM Radio. CD changer included. Yes...Three Televisions. This is the only Full DTS Theater Sound Convertible I've ever seen.....it cost a small fortune. iPOD Cable Interface. Three Fosgate Amplifiers......and Solobaric 10" Kicker Subwoofer built into passenger floor board. REAR VIEW Camera Due to Sitting in storage for too long, seals dried up and car was smoking. I had entire engine rebuilt to factory settings by Master Technician. No Aftermarket items on Engine....includes Gen 3 lash Adjusters....No Ticking. During rebuild....everything was Nickel Plated and Chrome Dipped. During last Tune after Engine build.... Four Wheel Dyno tested....came to 420 hp. Stock Mass Airflow Sensor keeps car from achieving Full HP capability. That's acceptable to me...if you want to maximize the Horsepower and turn up the boost......that will be to your discretion. Right now...the car is bulletproof. New Getrag OEM Transmission New Transfer Case...during factory recall New Power Steering Rack...during factory recall Over 10,000 in Nickel plated Chrome in Engine Bay including the Valve Covers and the entire Throttle Body....what you see is NOT POLISHED.....its all CHROME Custom Chrome Plates to support the Optima Battery Custom Chrome Strut Tower Brace with Chrome Mitsubishi Emblem Full chrome engine component covers Polished Aluminium High Flow Radiator Firm Motor Mounts Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel Stage Two Clutch Supra Fuel Pump 550 CC Injectors Super AFC Fuel controller Greddy Profec B Boost Controller Greddy Turbo Timer AEM Wideband O2 UEGO Fuel Gauge for Tuning Greddy Turbo Boost Gauge...... BOTH the UEGO and the TURBO Boost gauges are mounted in a custom Gauge pod created to blend seamlessly into the dash by the driver pillar 15g Turbos HKS Megaflow Air Filter HKS Turbo Exhaust HKS Super Sequential Blow off Valve HKS Side mount Intercoolers HKS Hard Pipe Kit HKS Hard pipe Throttle Pipe Stilled Cross Drilled Disk Brakes Red Painted Factory Shaved Brake Callipers Steel Brake lines Greddy Oil Catch Can Full Clear Bra Front including headlights pillars bumper side skirts and rear bumper and mirrors Viper Alarm with Locator and pager. Interior motion sensor for when the Convertible top is Down. This car also has new Windshield defroster vents.....these are prone to cracking and can cost over 1000 to fix. I'm sure there is more that is escaping me now.... Car currently registered and stored in United Kingdom, London Let me assure you this car needs Nothing....The Car is Bone Dry...No Leaks.....I'm laughing here....but no....NO RUST.....No Accidents..... Also....the same Master Technician has worked on this car for 16 years while registered in U.S. and serviced by Eurospec 2000 in United Kingdom. Shipping is your responsibility......but I can recommend Reliable Carriers if you need advice.

Mitsubishi Mirage configurator is alive
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Well, here's the butter knife Mitsubishi is bringing to the subcompact gun fight. It's called the Mirage, and its configurator has just gone live on Mitsubishi's consumer page, allowing those that absolutely must have a brand-new car for not a lot of money (and have never heard of the Nissan Versa, Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark or Ford Fiesta) to build their perfect example.
Prices start at $12,995 for a base DE model with a five-speed manual transmission and $14,195 for the up-market ES with the same transmission. A 74-horsepower, 1.2-liter engine is the sole powerplant. Both trims feature a continuously variable transmission for an extra $1,000 and a range of eight exterior colors, while black is the sole interior color.
Fully loaded with all the assorted packages - there are 10 on the ES model, adding things like navigation, a backup camera and LED ambient lights - the Mirage checks out at $19,540. Feel free to have a go at the configurator yourself.
Junkyard Gem: 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback
Sat, Apr 4 2020Remember the front-wheel-drive Dodge and Plymouth Colts (not to mention the Plymouth Champ and Eagle Summit) of the late 1970s through the middle 1990s? Those were Mitsubishi Mirages, and you could buy them here with Mitsubishi badging from 1985 through 2002. Then, for the 2014 model year, the Mirage returned to North America, as the cheapest new car you could buy here. Now, barely a half-decade later, I'm seeing significant quantities of these Mirages in the car graveyards I frequent. Here's a pretty clean '15 in a yard located within sight of Pikes Peak in Colorado. I began seeing the current generation of Fiat 500 in the cheap U-Wrench yards when those cars hit about six or seven years of age, and the same goes for the Sebring-based Chrysler 200s. The Mirage beats that dubious distinction by a year or two. Really, the only shorter showroom-to-junkyard average interval I've witnessed in my 38 years of junkyard crawling was achieved by the genuinely miserable early Hyundai Excels, which started to be discarded in quantity when they hit about age four; I recall seeing dozens of them in Southern California yards with 25,000 miles on the clock and hardly any interior wear-and-tear. Even the Yugo did better (and this is why I remain amazed by the generally high quality of Hyundai products starting in the early-to-mid 1990s; Hyundai gets my personal "Most Improved Automaker" award for that achievement). That said, I don't agree with the legions of my car-writer colleagues who love to trash the humble Mirage. I reviewed the 2014 Mirage, and then— just because I feel such affection for cheap commuter-mobiles— went back and wrote up the 2017 Mirage GT. These cars aren't much fun to drive, they have decidedly low-rent interiors, and you don't look like a serious car expert when the masses see you behind the wheel of one. And yet, if you're 22 years old in your first "real" job and you'll get canned if you're late even once, choosing a new car with a strong warranty, with non-ball-busting credit terms and a somewhat lower monthly payment than those other subcompacts that provide more road feel when you're at the limit of the performance envelope, you know, when you're trail-braking for a late pass on your favorite two-lane freeway offrampÂ… well, the Mirage looks like a pretty good deal on a transportation appliance.
