2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Se Awc 4-door Suv Mercury Gray / Black on 2040-cars
Bath, Maine, United States
This 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE AWC 4-Door SUV Mercury Gray / Black is located in Bath, Maine and is in excellent condition with fewer than 10,500 mostly highway miles. The vehicle has been driven with respect and has been meticulously cared for since it was new. There is no damage history. We, the original owners, purchased the vehicle new on 12/12/2013 from Cold Brook Mitsubishi in Skowhegan, Maine. Service has been performed by that dealer. This is a comfortable, extremely good handling vehicle, a real pleasure to drive and ride in. We have owned it for less than 7 months but we have now decided to move to a location in the southern US where we will only need one small vehicle and we will not need 4-wheel drive. This vehicle is a terrific value, considering it was purchased for about $26,000 seven months ago and a new Outlander Sport with all of the accessories included with this one would cost even more than that now.
In addition to those listed above, this Outlander has the following Options: Options continued ... - Heated Front Seats - Rear Floor Heater Ducts - 6.1" Touch Screen Display Audio - 140-Watt AM/FM/CD/MP3 Audio System w/ 6 Speakers - 710 W Rockford Fosgate Premium Sound System w/ 9 Speakers Including... 10 Inch Subwoofer w/ Punch Control, DTS Neural Surround, Premidia-Wide Surround, and Dolby Volume - SiriusXM Satellite Radio - Digital HD Display - Fuse HandsfreeLink System w/ USB Port - Rearview Camera System - Fast Key Entry System - One Touch Start/Stop Engine Switch - Auto On/Off Headlights - Rain Sensing Wipers - Illuminated Visor Vanity Mirrors - Steering Wheel Mounted Cruise Control and Audio Switches - Retractable Assist Grips - Dual Front Cup Holders - Rear Seat Center Armrest w/ 2 Cup Holders - Center Console w/ Armrest Storage - Power Door and Tailgate Locks - Telescopic Steering Column - Service Reminder System - Variable Intermittent Wipers - Rear Window Wiper - 12V Accessory Outlet (2) - Rear Privacy Glass - Active Stability Contro (ASC) - Tire Pressure Monitoring System - Latch System for Child Seats - Anti-Theft Alarm System - Engine Immobilizer - Hill Start Assist - Power Drivers Seat - Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror - Accessory Rear Park Assist Sensors - Accessory Wheel Locks - Accessory All Weather Floor mats (4) - Cargo Package - Reversible Cargo mat - Tonneau Cover - Cargo Net - Fuel economy according to Window Sticker (available upon request): - 26 MPG combined City / Highway - 24 MPG City - 29 MPG Highway Note: Those figures are about what we experienced. - Warranty Information: - The remainder of the 10-year / 100,000 mile Limited Power-train Warranty - The remainder of the 5-year / 60,000 mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty - The remainder of the 7-year / 100,000 mile Anti-Corrosion / Perforation Warranty - The remainder of the 5-year / Unlimited mile Roadside Assistance Warranty Important note: You will need to check with your participating retailer for terms and conditions of the warranties - Government 5-Star Safety Rating: - Frontal Crash = 4-Star Driver and Passenger - Side Crash = 5-Star Front Seat, 4-star Rear Seat - Rollover (Single Vehicle Crash) = 4-Star |

Chrysler de Mexico to sell rebadged Mitsubishi model in shades of Colt deal
Wed, 02 Jul 2014Chrysler and Mitsubishi have had a close relationship since the early '70s. Back then, they partnered up to sell the Japanese brand's models under American names as captive imports in the US. Vehicles like the Dodge Colt, Eagle Summit, and eventually the 3000GT/Stealth twins and lots of other cars and trucks became the fruits of that alliance. In fact, the two companies still maintain a good rapport, as evidenced by reports of a new deal to sell the Mitsubishi Attrage, also known the Mirage G4, in Mexico starting in November.
The Attrage is a small, four-door sedan that borrows many of the mechanical bits from the Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback. According to Automotive News, the deal allows Chrysler to sell the model in Mexico for the next five years. The deal could be a win-win for both companies. Mitsubishi gets to use more capacity at its Laem Chabang, Thailand factory where the car is made, and Chrysler gets a new vehicle for a growing market with almost zero development costs. At this time, there's no indication of the new model's name in Mexico, though.
There's also still a chance the Attrage might make it to the US market as well. The automaker showed off the sedan as the Mirage G4 at the 2014 Montreal Motor Show ahead of promised sales in small-car-friendly Canada. The Mirage hatchback was introduced to the US in a similar way, debuting in Canada first and then crossing the border. While reviews for the Mirage have been pretty atrocious, it would still be interesting to see Mitsubishi further expanding its lineup in North America.
Mitsubishi, Nissan will build mini EV together
Tue, Oct 20 2015That minicar project that erstwhile competitors Nissan and Mitsubishi launched about four years ago is about to go a little more maxi. NMKV Co., the joint venture established in June 2011 by the two Japanese automakers to make minicars, is going to get more resources specifically to ease a move into the electric-vehicle sector. Specifically, Nissan, which makes the all-electric Leaf, is going to have a bigger role in the testing, design, and development of the partnership's mini EVs. A memorandum of understand between Nissan and Mitsubishi, maker of the i-MiEV, is in the works. So far, the joint-venture has sold about 500,000 gas-powered three-cylinder compact vehicles under the two automotive brands, so it must be doing something right. The first Nissan Dayz and the Mitsubishi eK Wagon models started production in 2013. Sales of the Nissan Dayz Roox and Mitsubishi eK Space, which went the higher-roof route, began early last year. Nissan and Mitsubishi started making noise about this last summer, when word came out that the little EV may be priced at less than $15,000 in Japan, quite a bit cheaper than either the Leaf or the i-MiEV over there. As with the current models, the future minicar variants will be produced at Mitsubishi's Mizushima factory in Japan. So far, the partnership would only say that details about NMKV's next-generation mini EV will be released "at a later time," so specifics like range and other performance measures will have to wait. Until then, you can take a look at NMKV's press release below. Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors and NMKV reach agreement on planning and development of next-generation minicars Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and their joint venture NMKV Co., Ltd. today reached an agreement to continue their joint project regarding development of the next generation of current minicar models. The three companies will soon sign a memorandum of understanding. The companies aim to develop more competitive products by optimizing resource allocation and their respective roles and responsibilities. Nissan will be more deeply involved in development operations, such as design development and testing. In addition to its product planning and project development roles, NMKV will strengthen its management capabilities by adding a new department to enhance collaboration with engineering and manufacturing functions. Vehicle production is planned to continue at Mitsubishi's Mizushima Plant.
PSA shares rise following FCA's breakup with Renault
Thu, Jun 6 2019Shares in Groupe PSA, parent company of automakers Peugeot, Citroen and the DS brand, rose on Thursday as analysts considered the possibility that Fiat Chrysler could turn back to PSA after withdrawing its $35 billion merger offer for Renault. "Both parties have acknowledged the need for scale or [mergers and acquisitions] and may pursue other opportunities. If Nissan was an obstacle (to an FCA-Renault deal) PSA-FCA discussions could resume," wrote brokerage Jefferies. Back in March at the Geneva Motor Show, rumors started swirling that PSA was interested in a potential merger with FCA. Mike Manley, who took over at the helm of Fiat Chrysler following the death of Sergio Marchionne, had indicated a willingness to look into potential partnership options. Of course, that was all before FCA proposed a merger with Renault — with that deal now off the table, attention naturally turns back to PSA, which is also based in France. "We expect both shares to react negatively but see FCA having wider strategic options and Renault shares more downside risk near-term," said Jefferies. According to Reuters, PSA shares were up 1.5% at the time this was published, making it the top-performing stock on France's benchmark CAC-40 Index. Renault saw its shares slump 7%. Shares for FCA fell 3% in early trading on the Milan Stock Exchange. Considering that FCA said in its statement confirming the withdraw of its merger offer with Renault that "political conditions in France do not currently exist for such a combination to proceed successfully," we have to wonder how keen the company is to begin negotiations with another French automaker like PSA. Those thoughts were similarly voiced by Bernstein Research analyst Max Warburton, who said (via Forbes), "Expect PSA to rise on unrealistic hopes it may be FCA's next date."
