I have decided to sell my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse. This car is a one owner, bought brand new, adult driven & very well maintained vehicle. If you local or plan to be in the Central Florida area, please make arrangements to view this car. You won't be disappointed. The car has never been in a fender bender, never had any mechanical difficulties. The exterior and interior are in excellent condition. There's never been any touch up to the paint or upholstery. The paint is flawless. The interior is clean, looks like new, with no stains on the seats or floors. I am a non smoker and this car has never been smoked in. The tires and rims are in great shape.
The reason for selling is that I now have one grandson and another on the way. I thought it would be best to purchase an SUV to tote the grandkids around in, so I purchased a Honda Pilot. Since then, I have been driving two vehicles. I drive the Eclipse to work and on weekends uses the Pilot. I love my Eclipse and am heartbroken to sell it, but one car is all I need.
Getting back to the Mitsubishi, like I stated earlier, it's in pristine condition, with low mileage. The rack and pinion steering and 5 speed transmission really make for a fun ride. The A-C blows cold air. The AM-FM- CD player sounds great. The seats are very comfortable. With the hatchback you have plenty of space to easily load and unload groceries or what have ya. I could go on all day describing this car, but I think I'll just leave it up to the pictures. So examine all the pictures closely, what you see is what you get.
She runs like a top. Never having any mechanical problems what so ever, not even a hiccup. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles like clock work. To whoever the purchaser of this car is, all I can say is, you have just became the new owner of a car that has been well taken care of and will give you dependable carefree driving for several years to come.

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV faces longer delays, might not arrive until 2016
Thu, 22 May 2014It seems every time the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV makes the news the information concerns a delay, and the reason always centers on its batteries. Four months ago the culprit was restricted battery supply from Lithium Energy Japan, pushing the arrival to 2015. This time it's no different, with Automotive News reporting that a battery-related request made by California state regulators will push the Outlander PHEV arrival back to "late 2015 or early 2016."
CA authorities want all plug-in hybrids to be fitted with a monitor for the lithium-ion batteries that will be on the lookout for degradation, the concern being that diminished batteries could change the vehicle's emissions. Getting the technology fitted and tested means something like a 16- to 22-month delay.
The extra time, however, should let Mitsubishi figure out what it's going to do about its battery supply since the current level of 4,000 per month isn't enough to support a US launch; the Automotive News article says Mitsubishi expects a volume of 63,000 plug-ins for 2016. The company hasn't said how it plans to make up the balance.
Mitsubishi to offer new Galant, Montero in US?
Wed, 03 Apr 2013We admit it - we've been skeptical about Mitsubishi's fortunes here in the US for a long time now, and this month's reveal of the 2014 Mirage subcompact at the New York Auto Show didn't do much to quell our consternation. Yes, the Mirage should attract a certain portion of the buying population based on what will likely be the best fuel economy figures in its segment and a low price, but the profitability of basic small cars is limited even under the best of circumstances. Mitsubishi is clearly going to need something meatier in its portfolio if it wants to get back on track financially.
Help appears to be on the way. According to The Detroit Free Press, Masatoshi Hasegawa, the company's executive vice president here in North America, has confirmed that at least two more models are destined for the company's US dealerships, and it looks like they're going to be entries into higher-volume, higher-margin segments. Hasegawa pledges that the company will overhaul its lineup over the next two to three years, and one of them will be a successor to the often-ignored Galant, a midsize sedan we last saw for the 2012 model year.
And what of the other model? Apparently it will be an unnamed "bigger brother" for the new 2014 Outlander, an acknowledgment that suggests Mitsubishi is considering bringing its Montero/Pajero SUV back to the States. Earlier this month, we heard a report that a next-generation model for the venerable off-roader remains a few years out, but it's possible Mitsubishi might import the current aging model before the new one is produced. A big shift is said to be in the works for the fifth-generation model, with a massive weight loss and possible plug-in hybrid variant tipped as top goals for the program.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV's US debut pushed back yet again [UPDATE]
Wed, Dec 30 2015UPDATE: The story's been updated to include a response from Mitsubishi. Better late than never, the saying goes, and when it comes to the US debut of the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid, the key words are "better" and "late." The crossover's debut in the US has already been the subject of a number of delays, and it is will once again having its stateside debut pushed back by a few months, according to Green Car Reports. Instead of a springtime arrival, we're now looking at late summer. We already know that the first US Outlander is an updated model compared to the one currently sold in Europe and Japan, but the Japanese automaker is apparently still tweaking the model to make it better suited for US driving. That means an improved interior and better sound insulation for what will be the 2017 model-year Outlander PHEV, and will likely involve better performance for both drivetrain power and fuel efficiency. "We decided to bring in the Outlander PHEV along with the 2017 Outlander launch," Mitsubishi spokesman Alex Fedorak wrote in an e-mail to Autoblog. "Doing so will allow us to better equip the vehicle for the US market." We doubt major changes are in store, so it still looks like the plug-in Outlander will pair a 2.0-liter gas engine with two electric motors. The crossover PHEV can go about 32 miles on electricity alone, at least, it can on the more lenient European driving cycle. The Outlander PHEV was first slated for a 2014 US debut, but that was pushed back to 2015 because of a battery shortage. More recently, Mitsubishi said this past January that the US debut would take place in April 2016. Overseas, the model continues to make headway when it comes to global market share of plug-in vehicles. Through November, Mitsubishi moved more than 36,000 units of the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid worldwide. That puts it third among plug-in vehicles, trailing only the sales of the Tesla Model S and the Nissan Leaf electric vehicles, according to EV Sales.
