PRICED TO SELL!!!  I am offering up one of my pride and joy's that I literally poured my soul into building. I am selling her because it is time to invest my money into other business ventures. Let me be straight up from the start... the objective of this build was show and go! As you can see from the pictures. I did NOT build her to sit up in my garage or be trailered everywhere like a pretty pretty princess... no... this thing was meant to drive amd that's exactly what I did with it. So, if you're looking for a trailer queen with 100% perfect paint, then look elsewhere for a car. If you are here for a beast that you plan to track, drive and smash folks on the freeway in and not have to worry about a pebble here and there scratching up the paint, then Ernestyn may be the girl for you (name subject to change with ownership of course).

The wrongs:

1)  Because the doors are motorized controlled, the car does require two batteries that need to stay charged when the vehicle is not being operated, thus, I will include 2 battery tenders (already hooked up to the car) that you will have to plug in to an outlet source.
2)  The mileage reported will be wrong... The car had approx 72k miles on the orig motor before I pulled it. The 4G63 head is the original one that came with the car, however, it has been customized as well, and paired to a 4G64 block (better bottom end power).
3)  The driver power seat dies on me so eyou may need to get a new one, a new seat motor, or get a regular manual seat (IMO - manual seat is much better than the electric)
4)  As mentioned before, there are wear and tear marks on the rea bumper, hood and driver side skirt (please ask for pix if you're concerned and want to see the damage)
5) Cruise control has been removed to make way for speed/power goodies
6) OEM driver steering wheel has been removed, thus, no driverside airbag (I sold the oem steering wheel, but one can easily replace the MOMO aftermarket one with an OEM one.)
7) The passenger side window goes up about 80%, might need a new window regulator

Other than that, this car is flawless. Built by Road Race Engineering in Santa Fe Springs, CA. They have handled everything mechanical on this car for me, hence, her awesomeness! I will list her spec sheet at the very end of this intro.

QUICK INFO: She puts out 328awhp on 91 octane and 525awhp on 110. I was going to convert to E85, and RRE quoted me between $1500-$200, and an estimated increase to 650awhp easily.

PLEASE NOTE: there is a "half and half" Christian theme plastered all over her, this was to signify the One Man (the car) with Two Natures (Spirit Nature and Sin/Flesh Nature), so you may want to sand the black off of the rear light and front driver side marker lamp, change the tint to one color, powder coat the wheels to match and change the headlights to match (I have both complete sets of black headlights and chrome headlights. Only problem with switching the headlights to match is that I installed Acura TSX projectors into the headlights, and that was not fun to do. Also, the hood has a very unique mural on it that I WILL be removing once sold, as that mural is personal and will be put onto my next vehicle. I can have the hood painted silver or black or whatever color you choose, or I can leave it primered, your choice.

NOT BEING SOLD WITH THE VEHICLE: I will be keeping my sub woofer and box, and the amp that powers the sub. Possibly the headrest covers (I have seat covers installed) or all of the seat covers if you don't like my taste, but the headrests have "KOG" stitched into them, it is a car club's insignia that I am part of, thus, I will need to keep those.

ANY QUESTIONS: Please email any questions you have PRIOR to bidding. Car is being sold AS-IS, no warranties. NO returns. SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY!!! A down payment of $500 will be due within 24 hours of auction end (non-refundable), and the balance will be due 1 week (7 days) from auction end. No exceptions. If any of these deadlines are missed, I will relist the car and give negative feedback... NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Below, I have included Ernestyn's Spec Sheet... for your pleasure! :) Happy Bidding, and believe me, you will enjoy this car as I have!

Mitsubishi Evo successor on hold?

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

Just take one look at Mitsubishi's latest vehicles, both concept and production, and it's obvious that fuel economy - not performance - reigns supreme. With this in mind, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that Caradvice.com.au is suggesting that Mitsubishi is putting development of future performance models (like the 2013 Lancer Evolution GSR shown above) on hold as the company focuses on electric and plug-in vehicles.
In speaking with Mitsubishi managing director of product projects Ryugo Nakao at the Tokyo Motor Show, the publication says that the entire Lancer redesign is on hold, meaning that the aging Lancer Evo and Ralliart will have to contend with fresh performance models like the Volkswagen GTI and Subaru WRX. That being said, the article doesn't completely shut the door on another Evo - in fact, it goes on to indicate that when a new generation does hit the streets, it will almost certainly do so with some sort of electric-assisted powertrain, an oft-repeated rumor that got its legs as early as 2010.

The 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition debuts in Chicago

Mon, Feb 6 2017

The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has been on sale with only a mild refresh since 2010. For 2017, Mitsubishi is injecting some much needed life into the crossover. A Limited Edition trim, or simply LE, will be fully revealed this week at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. Like most of the automaker's products, the Outlander Sport LE packs lots of features into a compact and relatively affordable package. The LE trim sits directly above the base Outlander Sport ES and will set you back $21,995, though it's unclear if that includes destination. An alloy fuel door, black painted door mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, HID headlamps, a rearview camera and a Limited Edition badge are all included. The trim is available in any exterior color, but the interior of the Outlander Sport LE gets a special treatment. Red stitching on the steering wheel, shift knob, and brake lever compliment heated seats, aluminum pedals, and an infotainment system packed with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport may be getting up there in age, but it does pack a lot of features, decent packaging, and an excellent warranty into a reasonably affordable package. No word on how limited this Limited Edition may actually be. A realistic approach to fixing Mitsubishi

Tue, May 24 2016

There are going to be a lot of words written about what Nissan needs to do with Mitsubishi in the coming months and years in the interest of turning the brand around. After Nissan's purchase of a controlling stake in the diamond star brand, there's been more interest in Mitsubishi thanks to the potential of platform sharing and plenty of cash from Nissan-Renault to get the juices flowing again. But, while some have been doing their best to advocate for the return of the 3000GT, Evolution, and even the Starion - Many of these posts forget the reality of the market we live in today. As much as we like to look back fondly at the sports coupes of the '90s, a byproduct of the insane cash flows all the Japanese manufacturers had at the time, the reality of today puts a much greater emphasis on what is most-boring; Crossover SUVs, alongside mid-size and compact sedans. We do need to ask a fundamental question, how much Mitsubishi is enough to be able to continue to call the cars Mitsubishis? Aside from slight product revisions and reconfigurations, Mitsubishi (at least in North America) has been largely dependent on the same GS platform and 4B1 engines that date back to their long-time partnership with Chrysler (and Hyundai) in the mid '00s. Admittedly, the chassis and engines have served the company well, underpinning a wide variety of vehicles sold around the world, and seeing quite a few revisions to at least attempt to keep products competitive. But, the GS chassis is old, heavy, and severely out of date - and when matched to the underpowered 4B1 series engines - make for largely uncompetitive offerings in the market. While something like the Outlander Sport is indeed interesting compared to a Honda CR-V, it is by no means the smart choice in the segment. So, going forward, unless Mitsubishi has had a skunkworks of sorts developing their chassis and engine replacements over the past few years, what exactly are they planning to do for their bread-and-butter models? I think the straightforward answer is without a doubt the Nissan North America parts bin. With so many of their models selling well, and for the most part, are reasonably well-reviewed, it would be quite simple to adapt the chassis and powertrain to Mitsubishi's liking to create a high-volume alternative to what is currently available now.
