2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gt Hatchback 2-door 3.8l on 2040-cars
Burnsville, Minnesota, United States
This car is LOADED! It's an automatic 2006 Eclipse GT V6 with aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket Cool Air Intake, HID Lights, and an aftermarket spoiler, and in car (blue) neon lights. It also has 2 blue switches in the car; 1 is for the in car neon light and the other you can hook it up to anything you want for example: Under glows or even Nitro switch. It also has carbon fiber stickers on the headlights giving it a cooler look, but if you don't want it you can always remove it. The car runs amazing, but the only problem with it is that it has a service engine soon light on and it has been keyed; the front passenger side, the passenger door, the passenger back side, and the hood of the car which I have a red tape over it. The service engine light is on because I installed the air intake, but nothing is wrong with the car. It runs perfectly fine and it's speedy fast. Please pay with money order or cash. I could also ship the vehicle to you, but the amount would have to be paid in full before receiving the car and additional charge for the vehicle shipping. The buyer is responsible for the tax, registration, and title transferring fees. The price is negotiable, but I'm not taking anything too low so keep that in mind. If you're interested just email me with your name and phone number and I'll get back to you asap.

Mitsubishi Evo tagged with graffiti faster than you can say 'stop!'
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Ladies and gentlemen, meet Maggie Stiefvater, professional artist and musician, New York Times best-selling author and Mitsubishi Evo owner. Because, as she writes, "In my latest novel, The Dream Thieves, a character drives a car that looks just like mine. Only there's a knife painted on the side of his," she decided to graffiti a knife on the side of hers.
And that's how you get the time-lapse video below of Stiefvater, a few aerosol cans and a lot of stencils enjoying a sunny day in the park.
2013 Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Practice Day 4
Fri, 28 Jun 2013The fourth and final practice day of the 91st Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is complete. Tomorrow everyone will make any last-minute adjustments and get their cars, their bits and bobs lined up in the pits for Sunday morning's this-time-it-counts run.
The Unlimited runners took on the top section of the course today, Sébastien Loeb and his big-mouth Peugeot acing the practice test again with a time of 2:11. Rhys Millen's team proved its got the engine issues of two days ago in the Hyundai PM580T sorted out, posting the next-best time at 2:27.16. The reason we had to dip all the way into the hundredths for his time is because he nipped Romain Dumas by just .31 of them, the Frenchman in the Norma M20FC PP running the course in 2:27.47. In fourth came the Frenchman in the monster Mini, Jean-Philippe Dayraut six seconds back at 2:33.
Time Attack competitors, also on the upper section, were led by Paul Dallenbach in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe with a time of 2:36, Porsche pilot Jeff Zwart crossing the line six seconds later at 2:42, fellow Porsche driver David Donner coming in another six seconds back at 2:48. Dallenbach has topped three of the four practice-day sessions, sliding into the second spot behind Donner only on Practice Day 2.
Mitsubishi confirms pair of MiEV Evolution II electric racecars for Pikes Peak
Fri, 17 May 2013Preparing for next month's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Mitsubishi - the presenting sponsor of this year's PPIHC - has unveiled its entrant for the race: the all-electric MiEV Evolution II. Building off last year's MiEV-inspired entrant, the Evolution II has received numerous improvements, including a more powerful electric drive system, a lower center of gravity and even a more traditional racecar look. Driving a pair of MiEV Evolution II models this year will be Hiroshi Masuoka from Mitsubishi vehicle development and six-time PPIHC motorcycle winner, Greg Tracy.
Both MiEV Evolution II racers employ a quartet of electric motors (last year's car used just three), and output has been increased from 280 kilowatts (375 horsepower) up to 400 KW (536 hp). For improved handling, the cars' lithium-ion battery packs help provide lower centers of gravity, and both Masuoka's and Tracy's cars have received active yaw control, stability control and redesigned anti-lock braking systems. Hopefully, this will help them stick to the mountain better. As previously mentioned, even their look has changed, with less of a wide-body i-MiEV feel and more of a racecar appearance. We think the finished product would actually make for a pretty cool Le Mans Prototype racer, or perhaps an electrically powered rival for trackday cars like those from Radical.
