*Had an issue with my motor and I just got a brand new one straight from Mitsubishi. New motor, turbo, manifolds, power steering etc. Less than 30 miles on it. I got the motor from this ad on ebay, I have paperwork, but you can contact their service department for more info

This is my 2008 Evo X MR, I bought this car brand new on August 1st 2008 and it's been my daily driver ever since. This was the first new car I've ever owned and it's treated me well. Such a fun car to drive. Only reason I'm selling is because I need something that's going to be more fuel efficient. I really hate getting rid of it, especially after all the money I just put into it making it brand new again. I just can't afford the insurance and gas any more. Looking for a quick sale, if it doesn't go this week it's being traded in.

This car has nav, Rockford Fosgate, and the Aero package (large wing with lip spoiler, rear spats, side skirts, and front lip spoiler).

Modifications are as follows,
Rexpeed OEM style Vortex generator
Rexpeed short carbon fiber antenna
ViS racing carbon fiber engine cover
HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust
Password JDM hot side intercooler pipe
Password JDM front strut bar
AFE intake
AEM Uego wideband
AEM boost gauge

One of the factory BBS center caps was lost on the highway, and one of the wheels was curbed while parking about a year ago. Other wise, it's fine. A few minor scratches, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a 6 year old car. Paint is in overall great shape. Interior is great, seat wear is minimal, none of the plastic is faded, electronics work, etc.

Contact me for more info, thanks for looking

2023 Japan Mobility Show Mega Photo Gallery: All the highlights and reveals from Tokyo

Fri, Oct 27 2023

The 2023 Japan Mobility Show managed to serve up a surprise heap of exciting and futuristic designs and production reveals. Our staff was on the ground in Tokyo for this year's show, where we captured not just all of the latest automotive trends, but some genuinely weird and fascinating stuff.  Browse: Some Delightful Oddities of the 2023 Japan Mobility Show But on to the cars. This year's show featured introductions from Daihatsu, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota. Some are weird; some are wild; most are probably destined to change significantly before production or merely fade into the void with the rest of the industry's vaporware, but if even a few of these make it to showrooms, we'll consider it a win. Scroll on down for our live galleries of each of the show's major debuts (and cars we're only now seeing in person for the first time). Mitsubishi recalling 2013 Outlander Sport for suspension issue

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Just 305 units of the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport are the subject of a recall over a potential suspension issue. Crossovers made from January 17-25 of this year might suffer from a bad weld on the front left strut's stabilizer link. If it fails, damage to the brake hose or tire could result, in turn making steering or braking control of the compact CUV more difficult.
When the recall begins, owners can take their Outlander Sports to Mitsubishi dealers for inspection and replacement of the strut assembly if necessary. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin below has more information.

Mitsubishi ready to pull Evo's plug

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

We have all manner of unofficial metrics in the auto industry. No doubt you've heard some of them, like the butt dyno. Another popular measure is the smiles-per-dollar index - how entertaining is a car versus its price. Cars like the Mazda MX-5 Miata, Scion FR-S and Mini Cooper S, for example, score quite highly, while vehicles like the BMW M5 or Audi RS7 are great to drive, but score lower because of their much higher price tags. For a long time, the king of the smiles-per-dollar index was arguably the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which blended hair-raising thrills for the price of a well-equipped Ford Fusion Titanium.
Now, it looks like the Evo will need to hand over its title, as this generation of the rally-derived rocket is likely to be Mitsubishi's last - at least for a while. There's been no mention of just when production of the current car will end, so if you're in the market, we'd suggest trying to find a dealer with inventory ASAP. The news comes from the automaker's Japanese mothership, which says the brand will instead focus on utility vehicles and EVs. While there are no direct plans for a successor, an Evo XI as it were, the door remains open for a different kind of beast, according to Mitsubishi.
"Mitsubishi Motors does not have any plans to design a successor with the current concept, as a high-performance four-wheel drive gasoline-powered sedan," said Namie Koketsu, a spokesperson for Mitsubishi, according to Automotive News. "Mitsubishi Motors will explore the possibilities of high-performance models that incorporate electric vehicle technology."
