I have a Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 for sale, car only has a little over 89k miles and is my daily driver many mods to include:
* old antenna was deleted, i had the the external antenna welded closed and installed a much better amplified version on inside of the rear window
* full upgraded 6-AN fuel system. nylon braided lines with an Aero Motive FPR and fuel pump installed
*cats were deleted 3-3/4" straight threw exhaust split to two (2) 2-1/4 pipes each goes to a "dual tip" muffler, sounds very throaty and aggressive "a great compliment for this car"
* upgraded toa brand new "fully serviceable" two piece aluminum drive shaft from 3sx.com instead of the OEM heavy non serviceable 3 piece driveshaft

* new forged internals including crank and rods w/polished dome top ross pistons.
*stronger 5-speed 25spine tranny with hardened output shaft
* freezing cold a/c!!!! was an r-12 system and has been changed to 134-a refrigerant / 134-a oil charge and new compressor with all new components and seals
*the stock TD04 turbine housings needed to be machined much larger to compensate for the larger highest flowing TD04 turbo's "closest in relation to the larger TD05 turbine family"
the 19T TD04HL' turbo's installed spool up really nicely, way quicker than i originally expected (7psi @ 3,200 rpm and 14+psi. @ 3,700rpm ) i have the new True Boost gauge set to 10psi at the moment.
* 3 row core racing radiator with high performance fans
* full 6k crystal white HID kit (100 WATT HID fog lights and 55WATT HID head lights)...
* under body lighting "remote and WiFi controlled from your smart phone and/or remote not to mention that the gauges inside the car are matching to the under glow so they change as well and can be ran on any color you choose to run, the best part is if it becomes too much for you, you can always dim the system down to almost nothing "on any color".
* car is tinted all the way around and is fully legal 50% on windshield 30% on front windows 5% on the rear small side windows and 15% on rear hatch (life time warranty Lumar tint )
*new jet black paint job!
* new custom body kit very nice!
I have over $15k in it with reciepts! Theirs honestly way too much to list. only thing i can think that i haven't got is the ECM engine management. This car comes with an awesome remote start alarm system but i have yet to program the smart start rpm module so it will not start the car until it knows the idle rpm... also has a one mile range and will alert you of a break in or window break....

No low ballers please, if interested give me your best offer

Mitsubishi kills CHAdeMO on upcoming Outlander PHEV

Tue, Jan 12 2016

Mitsubishi will be adding a number of features to its Outlander Plug-in Hybrid SUV when it introduces the model to the US this summer. It'll also be subtracting a CHAdeMO-standard fast-charging port. The Japanese automaker is saying there aren't enough compatible stations in the States to warrant it, so domestic drivers will have to settle for the SAE port for their fast-charging purposes. Mitsubishi and Nissan are the two Japanese automakers that have been pushing hardest for CHAdeMO as a fast-charging standard. Many US and German automakers have been pushing the competing SAE Combo standard for fast-charging, but the charging station companies seem to be just as happy to install EVSEs with both ports on them. Mitsubishi showed off an Outlander PHEV at a reception in advance of the North American Auto Show in Detroit starting this week, though the car won't be at the show itself. The place where the CHAdeMO port is usually placed was covered by a plastic plate, according to Automotive News. Mitsubishi Motors North America spokesman Alex Fedorak confirmed to Autoblog that the Outlander PHEV will make its US debut by late summer, and that it wouldn't have a CHAdeMO charging port. The Outlander PHEV will start sales in August, and Mitsubishi is hoping the model's introduction will push Mitsubishi's US sales above the 100,000-vehicle threshold for the first time since 2007. The automaker has repeatedly delayed the US debut of the Outlander PHEV. While Mitsubishi hasn't released specifications, the model is likely to have better fuel efficiency and more power than its Japanese and European counterparts. Mitsubishi is killing the Lancer this summer

Fri, Jan 6 2017

The small sedan segment is going to get a little smaller this summer. At a Mitsubishi event last night, the company discussed its new focus on the crossover market. It left us wondering where this leaves the future of Mitsubishi sedans. We asked executive vice president and COO of Mitsubishi's North American division Don Swearingen about this, and he said the Mirage G4 will remain on the market to handle some sedan demand, but that Lancer production will end this August. Swearingen did explain that there will probably be leftover stock for a few months after the end of production, but that the car would effectively be gone this summer with 2017 its final model year. He said the sedan market is shrinking and the company needs to make sure any new product it develops is profitable, which is why Mitsubishi continues to shift its focus to the ever-growing crossover market and there are no current plans for a new Lancer. It should also be noted that the current Lancer was introduced a decade ago and wasn't terribly competitive to begin with. Still, we'll miss the Lancer line, even if it was only for the hope that we'd see another Lancer Evolution someday. Related Video:

MotorWeek remembers a better time for Mitsubishi performance

Fri, Feb 26 2016

Dodge still knows how to create an capable performance car – look at the Hellcats, for example – but the same isn't true for Mitsubishi. With the Lancer Evo's demise, we don't expect driving enthusiasts to clamor for any of the Japanese automaker's other products. Things used to be different, though. As MotorWeek found in its new Retro Review, the 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and its sibling, the Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo, were impressive sports coupes in their day. Dodge and Mitsubishi packed a bevy of cutting-edge tech into the coupes. In these trims, both sported all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, an adjustable suspension, active exhaust, and automatic climate control. The 3000GT VR4 upped the ante even more with active aero parts at the front and rear. Their 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 was good for 300 horsepower and 307 pound-feet, which were good numbers at the time. This pair put all their gizmos to good use, too. MotorWeek compares the all-wheel-drive system's grip levels to a Porsche 911 Carrera 4. When was the last time you heard any favorable similarity between a Mitsubishi and a Porsche? The Stealth R/T Turbo and 3000GT VR4 came from a special time for Japanese sports coupes, when every brand had a halo model. Whether you were looking at Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, Toyota Supra, or even the Acura NSX, there was a lot to like on the market. MotorWeek's latest Retro Review offers a great reminder of that period.
