1998 Mitsubishi 3000gt 2dr Hatch Back on 2040-cars
Haledon, New Jersey, United States
This vehicle is in EXCELLANT CONDITION andI have documents to prove it! The body is in mint condition. You'd be hardpressed to find any blemishes or chip. The car is fully loaded with powerwindows, seats, mirrors, A/C and also has a remote engine start for the coldweather. The interior is also in EXCELLENT CONDITION except for some wear on thedrivers side seat. Car runs and drives like its brand new. I have over 20,000 inreceipts of vehicle history from the previous owner and myself. Its important tonote that the engine was rebuilt by jasper when it had 100,723 miles and thevehicle reads now 154061. that's approximately 54,000 miles on the newengine that cost over 5,000. I just put in a new transmission 2 years ago itonly has about 13,000 miles on it that cost almost 3,000. just recently Ichanged the entire brake system. Front and rear rotors and pads as well as fixedthe tie rods and added two tires to the front. that work was done recent withonly 3,500 miles on it. Yesterday I had them run the computer to get it ready tosell and showed a bad oxygen sensor and battery. so it was all replaced washedand detailed 400.00 later. I also have a very loud after market exhaust in thevehicle. It sounds really cool I made a video if anyone is interested. It'salso important to note that there's also an aftermarket sound system withan amp that was over 1,000. I have tons of receipts and documents in addition towhat's listed. My objective was to have this car as safe as I could make

California adapts ZEV mandate with PHEVs for smaller automakers
Fri, Jun 5 2015California is the nation's largest market for zero-emissions vehicles with over 100,000 of them estimated to be on the roads there. The state's goal is to keep that number growing every year. To that end, the California Air Resources Board is now tweaking its rules in a way that might not boost ZEVs but could mean more plug-in hybrids for the Golden State. Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, and Volvo asked for an exemption to the state's zero-emissions vehicle mandate last year due to their relatively small development budgets compared to larger automakers. CARB denied their request but did craft a compromise, according to Automotive News. Rather than being required to offer a ZEV in the state, companies with an annual global revenue of less than $40 billion, like those in this group, may instead sell plug-in hybrids to earn ZEV credits. The companies aren't completely off the hook, though. If these plug-in hybrids don't earn enough credits, the corporations must buy them on the market to make up the difference. Automakers with popular electric models like Nissan and Tesla have made a big business through this trading system by selling their surplus to rivals. Tesla alone pocketed $51 million in the first quarter from this part of its business, according to Automotive News. The changes to the regulations also aren't set in stone, yet. CARB is meeting in 2016 and could adjust things further at that time. 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV First Drive | Nailing the sweet spot
Mon, Oct 2 2017SANTA CATALINA ISLAND, Calif. — For years now, while the Mitsubishi brand has languished here in the U.S., other parts of the world have been enjoying the Outlander PHEV. It's Europe's best-selling plug-in hybrid, and Mitsubishi has been improving on it over the years, testing it, refining the technology and punishing the vehicle in competitions like the Baja Portalegre 500 and the Asia Cross Country Rally. Now, as electric vehicles begin to gain greater acceptance, and as Mitsu turns its brand around, it will finally offer the Outlander PHEV in America at the end of this year. As Mitsubishi prepares to launch the Outlander PHEV stateside, we had the rare opportunity to drive it across the interior of Santa Catalina Island, off the coast of Los Angeles, to test it out on some rugged, scenic roads. Sitting inside the Outlander PHEV, we were actually pleased with the interior. It was simple and clean, and the plastics didn't feel especially cheap. Sure, it wasn't the thoughtful design or plush touch points of the other available plug-in crossovers on the market, but the Outlander PHEV also doesn't share the same price tag. We definitely found it to be more attractive and appealing than the inside of, say, a Chevrolet Equinox. If you were expecting a pile of hot garbage from Mitsubishi, you're way off. When we popped open the rear liftgate to take a look, we found our near-ideal tailgating vehicle. In the rear cargo area was a ton of space, a large speaker, cupholders and a standard three-prong outlet, perfect for plugging in a slow cooker, blender, or any other appliance you could find useful at a football game or campsite. Later, when we would take a break from our drive at Catalina Island's Shark Harbor, we'd be treated to a smoothie prepared in a blender plugged into that AC outlet. If you happen to use all 12 kWh of energy, the gas engine will fire up to serve as a generator. The Toyota 4Runner may have had the "Party Mode" button, but the Outlander PHEV would be our pick for the stadium parking lot. As we passed through a gate at the edge of the town of Avalon and headed up a dirt road across the interior of Catalina Island, we were quickly impressed with the way the Outlander PHEV handled the rocky, dusty trails from which most drivers are normally prohibited. The steering feel was light but communicative, and we were really able to tell what was going on between the front wheels and the rugged surface beneath them.
Mitsubishi teases world premiere of new PHEV concept ahead of Geneva
Wed, Jan 28 2015It was a little disappointing to find out that Mitsubishi's "return of a legend" for the 2015 Chicago Auto Show would simply be the North American debut of the GC-PHEV concept. The crossover has a chunky, rugged design that's somewhat attractive, but it's not exactly new to the motoring world. Apparently, the Japanese brand understands the desire to see what's next because the company is now teasing the world premiere of a concept for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. Mitsubishi promises that the still-unnamed concept "is a 'declaration of intent'" for the company's future. The only real hints that the brand drops about the vehicle is that it features a next-gen, two-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid powertrain and is a crossover. Judging from Mitsubishi's two teaser images, the design appears to be cribbing a lot from the brand's own XR-PHEV concept. Up front, the angular nose and headlight design look almost identical, and the pointed rear with integrated taillights seems basically the same, as well. Hopefully, the Japanese brand has something clever going on here and isn't just slightly tweaking a previous design. MITSUBISHI MOTORS AT GENEVA MOTORSHOW 2015 CONCEPT CAR WORLD PREMIERE – A DECLARATION OF INTENT 27/01/15 TOKYO - "A future-oriented attitude: powerful, fast and dynamic". This is the theme of the 85th International Geneva Motor Show official poster in perfect synergy with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's (MMC's) confident presence this year; from a new dramatic booth design to the sharpness of an all-new concept car. A world premiere in Geneva, the striking concept car is a 'declaration of intent' for MMC's future directions -a powerful embodiment of its next generation 2WD plug-in hybrid electric ("PHEV") technology as well as its bold design renaissance, all contained in Mitsubishi Motors' favorite format of the SUV crossover. The all new Mitsubishi Motors concept - a smart combination of engineering, fluency with a high-output electric motor, low environmental impact, dynamic agility and athletic design. -ENDS -
