It's time to sell my baby. I've run into some financial issues and have to sell asap. It's going to need a clutch job. It will run great for a while until the clutch decides to not disengage. I have to reach in past the front drivers side wheel, through the bolt access hole, rotate the motor maually by turning the crankshaft with a 22mm socket a couple rotations to free the clutch up and I works again. I've taken it to the dealership for a diagnostic and they say it's the throwout bearing going out which is always replaced during a clutch replacement and visa versa.
I simply cannot afford any more repairs. About 2 months ago, I had to replace the alternator and at the same time replaced the timing belt, tensioner, alternator belt, power steering belt, water pump, and battery. The motor and transmission were rebuilt in 2009, about 20,000 miles ago. alot of other things were replaced then as well and I have alot of records of the repairs. I don't race it and I've always maintained it well, Mobile 1 synthetic every 3000 miles of course. It passed Arizona emissions about a month ago.
The wheels / tires are wider than stock it seams. The exhaust has been upgraded to 3" catback, nice deep exhaust sound, but the active exhaust is disconnected for it. The struts were aftermarket when I got the car and the ecs wasn't operational. I replaced those struts with used oem ones. The rear wheel steering still works though. The brakes have been upgraded to the "Mitsubishi Big Brake Kit". The CD player is aftermarket with an amp in the back and a custom box behind the rear seat with two 8in(I think, haven't measured) woofers to save room. The A/C started blowing warm at the end of last summer. The speedometer starts working at about 45mph and above, but doesn't show anything below that. The paint was oxidized on the top surfaces so the previous owner painted over it and didn't do a good job, needless to say, it needs paint. There are some dents on the side panels from doors hitting it in the apartment complex but no accidents or frame damage of any kind. The body lines are straight and the side panels have original paint.
When the clutch is working correctly, this thing runs awesome, lots of power, awesome handling, and smooth shifting. This car is a classic now and I'm going to miss it.
Also, I'm including a Valor 7" LCD in dash folding screen DVD / CD player (not installed), slightly used in a different vehicle, like new, with remote. Also a new Hallman boost controller (never intstalled), and a new Covercraft bra (not installed).
Good Luck.

2017 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will debut in New York
Fri, Jan 8 2016Mitsubishi is betting big on crossovers and EVs, and some promising stuff is in store for the end of this decade. But in the very near future, the first product in Mitsubishi's EV/CUV strategy will launch in the US: the 2017 Outlander PHEV will finally bow at the New York Auto Show in March. I say "finally" because Mitsubishi already offers a plug-in Outlander in other markets, and overseas the PHEV crossover is off to a great start. Mitsubishi is seeing "great success in Europe," according to Ken Konieczka, the company's VP of sales operations. And when the Outlander PHEV launches in the US later this year, Konieczka thinks it'll attract a lot of new buyers to the Mitsubishi brand. I got to see the 2017 Outlander PHEV at a small event in Detroit on Thursday. It's the only one in the country, and still has to undergo some more testing and development before the CUV ready for the spotlight. Perhaps that's why Mitsubishi parked it in a dark corner of Detroit's Garden Theater. Compared to the regular Outlander you see pictured here, the PHEV doesn't look all that different save some badges on the tailgate and front fenders and, of course, the charging port. But that's not all Mitsubishi has in store for New York. The Mirage G4 sedan will also bow at that show, after its Canadian introduction at the Toronto Auto Show in February. Like the Outlander PHEV, the Mirage G4 already exists in other markets, and Mitsubishi says it has the largest interior volume of any sedan in its class. More information about both models – including pricing and specifications – will be available when both cars hit the Javits Center stage in March.
Mitsubishi EVs manage 1-2 division win at Pikes Peak *UPDATE
Tue, Jul 1 2014*UPDATE: Monster's time has now officially been posted as 9:43.9. Looks like coming back for a third crack at the mountain was the right move for Mitsubishi. At the 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this past weekend, the two all-electric Mitsubishis, one piloted by Greg Tracy, the other by Hiroshi Masuoka came in first and second, respectively, in the Electric Vehicle division. The EVs were the third iteration of the MiEV Evolution prototype racer, which until now has had a tough time getting to the top of the podium. The first version crashed in 2012 and came in second and third – behind Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima – last year. This year, Monster suffered a transponder glitch and his final time could only be estimated at 9:46 was 9:43.9. That's pretty much the same as last year, when he finished with a 9:46.530. Last year, the Mitsubishi duo finished with times of 10:21.866 (Masuoka) and 10:23.649 (Tracy), So, if Monster equaled his time from last year, then the Mistubishi drivers must have improved their times up the hill to beat him. They did more than that, though, dramatically lowering their times to 9:08.188 (Tracy) and 9:12.204 (Masuoka). What's most impressive is that Tracy's low time was just 2.4 seconds behind overall winner Romain Dumas, who drove a gasoline-powered Le Mans sports car prototype up the hill. Find more details below. MITSUBISHI MOTORS SCORES AN IMPRESSIVE 1-2 FINISH IN THE 2014 PIKES PEAK INTERNATIONAL HILL CLIMB Drivers Greg Tracy and Hiroshi Masuoka dominate the Electric Vehicle division in the innovative Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III racing prototype Mon, Jun 30, 2014 - Colorado Springs, Colorado - A pair of Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) technologically advanced MiEV Evolution III all-electric prototype racecars placed first and second within the Electric Vehicle division in the 92st running of the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) on Sunday, June 29th in the skillful hands of six-time PPIHC motorcycle champion Greg Tracy and two-time Dakar Rally winner Hiroshi Masuoka, respectively. Finishing a mere 2.4 seconds behind overall 2014 Pikes Peak race winner Romain Dumas and his gasoline-powered Le Mans sports car prototype, the stage has been set for highly energy-efficient and sustainable electric-powered vehicles like the Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III to soon become the dominant force in this challenging one-of-a-kind motorsport competition.
