This Is A Very Well Cared For Mini on 2040-cars
Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania, United States
I love this car. I am only selling it since we are buying a house and the extra cash would help. I have it priced under blue book and if I can not get my asking price I will just keep this car. So please, no low ball offers. Selling Points, why this Mini is SPECIAL: #1 This car is Loaded: Heated
LEATHER Seats, Power folding heated mirrors, keyless access (can keep key in pocket to
open and start car), automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers, Xenon self-leveling headlights,
Premium sound system, upgraded dynamic traction control which includes the
electronic limited slip differential for better traction on slippery surfaces, garage door opener built into the rear-view mirror, upgraded
17" wheels, automatic dimming rear-view mirror, Bluetooth hands free. If
you are looking at other mini's keep in mind that just these awesome wheels, upgraded stereo,
and xenon light package make my mini a hard deal to pass up. The Dynamic Traction Control is also a rare and great option to have! And one of my favorite rare features is not having to take the key out of your pocket to unlock and start the car.
#2 Carbon
fiber hood scoop and carbon fiber mirror caps make this
mini stand out from the others. These cost over $1000 from the dealer. #3 New oil and filter change with Mini approved Mobil 1 synthetic oil and a genuine Mini oil filter. New
cabin air filter just installed. Just waxed with TecWax and all leather conditioned. Top is in mint condition and just treated to maintain waterproof quality. #4 This
car was garaged and babied by both me and, from what I can tell, the previous
owner. This car has
never seen snow. I have the maintenance
records from both myself and the previous owner. There is no recalls out on this car and there is no check engine light on or any current issues. The inspection is also current. The body and paint are in very good condition. There are only very minor defects as one would expect from a 5 year old car. The wheels are also in good condition with minor curb scuffs that are very common on these cars with low profile tires. #5. This car runs like new and gets 29-30 MPG in mixed driving!!! The turbo will put a smile on your face! This listing includes a Haynes service manual, the original sales brochure (very cool) and the complete owners manual. I only have one key but you can get another from the dealer if needed. Title is in-hand for immediate delivery. Please see my 100% positive feedback and know that I am an honest seller and take extremely good care of my vehicles. Thank you for looking. Tony

Mini Vision concept presages next-gen Cooper Hardtop
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Mini is preparing to launch the third-generation of its trademark three-door hatch, and while we've already shown you that car mostly devoid of camouflage in spy shots, the BMW-owned brand has still seen fit to release a concept that previews the new design. Called the Mini Vision, it looks broadly similar to the cars we showed you at the beginning of the month, aside from a few concepty styling pieces.
The Vision is a well-balanced blend of the stylish hatch that rebooted the Mini brand in 2002 and the more bloated model that arrived in 2007. It's more rounded than the 2002, but seems decidedly more muscular than the 2007, and features modern accents like full LED headlights inspired by the sadly not-for-production Rocketman concept. Mini's traditional floating roof soldiers on, while the concept wears side grilles that seem borrowed from the Countryman and Paceman. Based on what we've seen in the spy shots, however, that treatment isn't going to make production, at least not on the models we've seen.
It's safe to say that the interior on this concept bears only a slight resemblance to what we'll see on the production car. The integrated Union Jack straps in the door panels are a cool touch, but the Vision's cabin looks like something out of a flying saucer. We'd expect only inspirational traces to arrive on the production model.
First Mini John Cooper Works prototype spied
Fri, 14 Feb 2014The highlight of Mini's 2014 Detroit Auto Show stand was the arrival of the John Cooper Works Concept, a sportier version of the three-door hatch that presages the next JCW model on the new platform. Now, we have our first images of the production car undergoing winter testing way up north in Sweden.
Really, the Mini camouflage can't hide what this car is. Between the JCW-branded brake calipers and extra intakes in the front fascia, it's fairly easy to see that this is the sportier version of the car our own Jeremy Korzeniewski wrote about last week. We're expecting the JCW variant to pack a fair bit more firepower than the three-cylinder Cooper he tested, of course. Rumors have circulated that the hottest Mini model could jump to 230 horsepower, up from the current, non-GP car's 208.
There are a number of style features missing here, and while it's entirely possible we'll see things like the JCW Concept's diffuser and side gills arrive when this car is shown in production form (or even further along in testing), their absence in these spy photos is telling. We certainly think this car will become the production JCW Hardtop, but there may be another explanation. The lack of certain aesthetic features means this could be a test of the JCW Engine Kit, which in past Minis slotted in between the standard Mini Cooper S and the factory Works car. We'll admit, it's a long-shot, but there is precedent for it - the JCW Tuning Kit arrived a year before the factory model in the last-generation car. The same reasoning could be used to explain the presence of the JCW-branded brakes, which have been another well-known Mini accessory over the years.
BMW names new chief for Mini
Fri, Jan 23 2015Mini is still transitioning models over to its new platform, and in the US market at least, the diminutive brand is dealing with a sales decrease of 15.6 percent in 2014. The low gas prices aren't helping either. But as of March 1, there's a new boss running the company across the world as Sebastian Mackensen (right) is promoted to the top spot from his current role as head of sales. Mackensen has been with Mini since October 2013, and according to Automotive News, before that he headed North and South American sales for Audi. Current brand boss, Jochen Goller is staying with BMW family and moving to China to take over as marketing chief for the BMW Brilliance joint venture. He had been the leader at Mini since 2013. Among several other personnel shifts, the BMW brand is also promoting Uwe Dreher to be its new head of marketing. He is currently in charge of those duties for the company in the Great Britain region. Personnel changes at MINI and BMW Group sales Munich . From 1 March 2015, Peter van Binsbergen will be Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing of BMW Group Germany. The 47-year-old mechanical engineer is currently Head of Sales and Marketing at the BMW Brilliance Joint Venture based in China. Mr van Binsbergen's career with the BMW Group began over 20 years ago when he assumed senior positions responsible for product planning, marketing and sales at BMW South Africa. He then moved to BMW Japan, where he was Director of Marketing, followed by a move to BMW Group headquarters in Munich, where he led the department responsible for sales channel development and the Group's "Future Retail" programme. Jochen Goller will move to China where he will take over an extended role with overall responsibility for Sales and Marketing at the BMW Brilliance Joint Venture in China. Mr Goller (48), who has headed up the MINI brand since 2013, already has experience when it comes to the Chinese market. During his 15-year career with the BMW Group, he was previously Head of Marketing at BMW China before returning to Europe, where he first took over responsibility for the MINI brand in Great Britain and Ireland ahead of moving to his current job. From 1 March 2015, Sebastian Mackensen will take on responsibility for the MINI brand. Mr Mackensen (43) joined the BMW Group in October 2013 as Head of MINI Sales.
