Selling my 1974 Morris Mini Cooper "right hand drive" with 95xxx miles original. with clean IL title.
2003 was the last year mini was register in UK
This little mini cooper is in great condition for his age, the mini has no rust, no bubbles on paint whatsoever, all underneath is pretty solid just dirty. Every car show mini has attended he always gets a lot of compliment and in the road a lot of thumbs up.
Mini has newer paint job not a 10k paint job but descent. paint is really nice with a little metal flake shines really nice in the sun, The interior has newer carpet also and newer smaller comfy seats than the original because I am 5'11 I needed the room for my height and legs but they fit pretty nice in the car. (also I have the original seats if u want them one of the have few rips)
Then engine is a 850 cc well take care with good compression runs pretty good for small engine very clean and very economical on "gas" just had the oil changed, sparkplugs. Mini has new clutch master cylinder, new front and rear brake pads.
The heater works fine, all light, brake lights, turn signals in working condition, the door locks and trunk work also.
mini has 10 inch cosmic wheels with newer falken tires.
I just want be honest with the cons: car has a small dent on the roof barely noticeable, in the dash I guess the previous owner put some tape on it may have few cracks and that's how he fixed it, its black so it doesn't show much, the headliner has minor discoloration from the sun not bad and I noticed leaks minimal oil since the oil was changed I think the bolt was over tight and smash the plastic washer not big deal I just didn't want have the to drain all the oil and replace a washer.
If you have any question feel free to email me.
Good luck bidding, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time, selling locally as well.

Mini boss contradicts reports on production Superleggera, says Minor unlikely
Wed, Mar 18 2015Mini has added to our green-beer-induced hangover with some disappointing news. The Mini Superleggera Vision Concept is not quite as confirmed as we had been led to believe. And making matters worse, the same high-ranking source that put the kibosh on confirmation of the stylish two-seater said he "doesn't see" a mini Mini. Mini boss Peter Schwarzenbauer contradicted yesterday's report in an interview with Automotive News, although he certainly doesn't oppose the idea of the Superleggera Vision. "I cannot confirm that it has been approved yet," Schwarzenbauer told AN, adding that it'd be a "great addition to the Mini range" and that he's "still pushing" for it to arrive in dealerships. That's good news for fans of yesterday's report. Schwarzenbauer is less of a fan of a small, entry-level mini Mini, based on the Rocketman Concept. "I don't see a smaller car than the current one," the exec said. It's long been rumored that Mini was readying a smaller, budget model that was more in line with the original Austin and Morris Minis, rather than the premium sub-compact model that BMW has been selling for the past 13 years. The company has even, allegedly, been in cahoots with Toyota to develop the new compact model. We reported as recently as January that the Anglo-Teutonic outfit and its Japanese partners would develop an entirely new platform for the Minor, although that certainly doesn't seem to be the case now. How do you feel about this? Does Mini need to get back to its roots with the affordable, Rocketman-based Minor, or should it keep on doing what it's doing? What about the Superleggera Vision Concept? Should Mini add it as a successor to the short-lived Roadster? Have your say in Comments. Related Video:
The 2017 Porsche 911 RSR goes mid-engine, purists be damned
Wed, Nov 16 2016Porsche unveiled its World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech Championship competitor with the 2017 911 RSR. And this 911 is different from the rest, as the 4.0-liter flat-six engine powering this beast is in front of the rear axle, not behind it. That's right, this 24 Hours of Le Mans competitor ditches the iconic rear-engine layout. Porsche isn't talking specifics on how exactly things are arranged back there. The engine is new, now based on the 991 911's block instead of the previous Mezger motor that's been used for years. The transmission design is new as well – it would have to be to accommodate the new location relative to the engine. The racecar has been engineered to meet the LM-GTE class, where it will go up against other mid-engine cars like the Ford GT and Ferrari 488 GTE. Moving the engine to the middle has given Porsche the ability to fit the 911 RSR with massive bits of aero, like the humongous rear diffuser that looks like it would be more at home on a machine of war. The only thing that can compete with the diffuser for size is the top-mounted rear wing, which shares a similar design to the one found on the 919 Hybrid. Going back to the engine, the direct-injected boxer motor, depending on the size of the restrictor, generates as much as 510 horsepower and sends all of its fury to the rear wheels. The engine is paired to a six-speed sequential gearbox, which drivers can employ through paddles on the steering wheel. The new engine doesn't have a lot of weight to push around as the 911 RSR, as required by regulations, weighs 2,740 pounds. Speaking of weight, the engine layout isn't the only change for the 911 RSR. For 2017, the car ditches its steel body for one that's made out of carbon fiber. The body attaches to the chassis via quick-release fasteners, making the vehicle easier to service as exterior elements can be removed with minimal effort. The racecar also gets a radar-based collision system – aptly named the "Collision Avoid System" – which is meant to limit the 911 RSR's encounters with faster LMP prototypes. Only time will tell if the new layout and aerodynamic components help the 911 RSR beat its competition. But there will be plenty of opportunities to see the racecar in action as Porsche plans to run the 911 RSR in 19 races during the 2017 season, the first of which will take place at the IMSA opener on January 28th at Daytona, where the racecar will make its track day debut.
Mini reveals new John Cooper Works concept ahead of Detroit
Tue, 17 Dec 2013BMW effectively hit the reset button when it unveiled the new Mini at the LA Auto Show last month, opening the door to a whole raft of new variants to follow - and this is the first.
Set to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next month is the new Mini John Cooper Works Concept, a show car that previews the next hot hatch from the Anglo-Saxon automaker. Mini isn't saying much about what makes it tick, focusing instead of the design that sets it apart from the standard version we've already seen.
This JCW concept features a lustrous grey paintjob with bright red accents, 18-inch alloys and an upgraded aero kit, all aimed at making the Mini look that much sportier. It's got bigger air intakes where the fog lights would be, LED headlamps, a black grille frame, side skirts, a rear bumper with diffuser insert and a roof-mounted spoiler.
