Just serviced with new brakes and fluids. NO OLD ACCIDENTS EVER."

We acquired this John Cooper Works edition Mini Cooper S two years ago with just 34k miles, we repaired its wiring loom by the ABS unit in front engine which had shorted out and had a very small fire in the abs pump.  Mini had a recall on them i think for this isue but the insurance company didn't fix it and thats how we bought it and we repaired it in our Porsche repair facility to our demanding standards.

We replaced the small area of wiring by the abs pump, replaced the pump, an did a small amount of painting on the cowl area which had discolored.  it had no interior damage that we could find, and no smoke  or heat related issues inside either.

Since we owned it we repainted the bumpers for chips and such in a few small areas. it has  asmall dinger in each front fender from careless parkers, a few chips or surfase scratches you can not see in photos.

The mini ran and drove when we bought it and photos of it prior to its repair are avail as we hide nothing in our repairs. We are a Porsche only repair facility and did the work in-house by our trained Porsche mechanics. We found no old accidents, it runs strong and is tight and strong. Everything works fine and we have driven it about 25k miles since with ZERO issues other than last year we replaced the main pully sensor which fails on minis once in a while with a new one, it has new brakes on front and rear fairly recently.

Options in addition to the John Cooper Works package include heated leather seats, we are non smokers and its obviously nice and clean inside, two sets of floor mats in front, cup holder, cd player from factory with Harmon Kardon sound package, sunroofs, keyless entry.

The MINI went to Ny for its required salvage inspection and someone in the NY DMV or the insurance company made a mistake on the title regarding its miles and we cannot seem to fix it, so it is being sold with what NY put on the title, 84,000 exact miles.  If you read its carfax you can see it never had high miles until this error occured.  When we bought it you will see its claim with about 34k miles around the summer of 2012, then the DMV thought to brand it with 84k  exactly due to clerical errors.

Anyway, if thats a concern don't bother looking at the car its not for you. Its priced to sell, we do not take any trades unless its a 911, no financing, no deposits to hold it, just come pay and drive it home. No dealer prep fees or bs, we wil assist witha temp tag if you need.  Title and car are on site and we require an appointment to see any of our cars.

Other than it can use a new set of tires soon, (we did remove the run flats when it came in), they are miserable for miles and handling, and it the JCW comes with a regular normal small spare tire. One wheel is missing its center cap, the wheels show some pitting from age.

We found no old accidents ever. It has manuals our service records and books, one key and we drive it every day so you have no worries if you want to drive in and fly home.  Title is on premises, we will ship at your cost anywhere.  Due to title and age it is sold as is where is with zero representations of any sort. We welcome ANY prepurchase inspections at your expense.

New Mini to bow on Nov. 18, on Alec Issigonis' birthday

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

Miniacs, note November 18 on your calendar. That's when the all-new Mini Hardtop will debut. Now, this might not be a great deal of news, after all, we already showed you the car, codenamed F56, a few weeks ago. But this full unveiling should bring with it even more detailed exterior images, a full look at the cabin and if we're lucky, performance numbers.
History buffs will also note that November 18 is the birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis. It was Issigonis that penned the original idea for the Mini on a cocktail napkin, envisioning a car with a transversely mounted engine, the wheels pushed out to all four corners and plenty of cabin space for occupants. That car had a remarkably small footprint and was quite efficient, perfect for tackling the fuel shortages brought on by the Suez Crisis in 1959's Great Britain. An unintended side-effect of its design was that it was also an absolute hoot to drive.
The November 18 debut will take place at Mini's home, Plant Oxford, in the UK. Following that, November 20 will see a near-simultaneous debut at both the Tokyo Motor Show and Los Angeles Auto Show. We'll be on hand to bring you all the details.

Next Mini Clubman disguises all six doors

Wed, Jan 28 2015

After revealing the new Mini hardtop in various guises, the next new model in the pipeline from the retro British marque is the Clubman. And here it is. Though still wearing some swirly camouflage, this Clubman prototype - previewed by the concept showcased last year - is clearly nearing production readiness. Since it'll have to differentiate itself from the four/five-door version of the new hardtop, the Clubman is expected to be even longer than the model it replaces. And this time, it'll have rear doors on both sides; and from these spy shots, it looks like they'll be conventional, full-size, front-hinged portals, instead of suicide doors. Around back you can also see the taillights peeking through the camo, on split rear portals instead of the one-piece, top-hinged tailgate on the standard-wheelbase model. At this stage, we wouldn't be surprised to see the new Clubman appear for the first time at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Whenever it does bow, it'll serve as the second pillar of the brand's reconfigured product lineup, following the new hardtop and preceding the upcoming next-gen Countryman crossover, Superleggera roadster and Minor city car.

2020 Mini Countryman Review & Buying Guide | The big Mini is still fun

Fri, Apr 17 2020

The 2020 Mini Countryman manages to keep most of the fun character of the regular Mini Hardtop, but with the practicality and style of a small crossover. How small, though? It's definitely among what we'd classify as subcompact models, but given its level of engineering, interior quality and, perhaps most obviously, its price, the Countryman fits well above mainstream models like the Hyundai Kona or Kia Soul, but doesn't quite reach the luxury rungs where the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, BMW X1, and the Audi Q3 reside. Given that in-betweener status and its quirky design aesthetic, the Countryman is bit hard to classify or stack up with competitors on an apples to apples basis. Best to think of it as an alternative, then, and focus on the things it does well. Most of all, it’s one of the best handling, and most fun-to-drive subcompact crossovers on the market – luxury or otherwise. It can be had with a number of peppy turbo engines, including a certified hot hatchback-grade 301-horsepower engine for the John Cooper Works. It also has a roomy interior with solid quality and characterful details. And although it's very expensive when compared to the Souls of the world, with a base price of just under $30,000, it starts at thousands less than those luxury models. So it may be tough to classify, but it's still worth a look.  What's new for 2020? Two of the more niche Countryman models see significant updates. The John Cooper Works model gets the aforementioned new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 301 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. The Cooper SE Countryman plug-in hybrid gets longer electric range, going from 12 miles to 18 miles thanks to a higher capacity 9.6-kWh battery. Fuel economy with a drained battery also rises from 27 mpg to 29. On other Mini Countryman models, the manual transmission has been dropped altogether, leaving two different automatic transmission choices. What's the Countryman's interior and in-car technology like? The Mini Countryman has a cabin with as much whimsy as you would expect for the brand. Though the speedometer has long since moved to the steering column, the dash continues to have a giant center circular motif as a tribute to past models. Vents, door handles and more have funky shapes, and Mini employs a wide array of plastics of different grains and colors to keep things interesting and looking premium, even if the plastics themselves feel average to the touch.
