Hello!

I'm selling my 2005 Mini Cooper.

I am the original owner of this car

We are consolidating down to a single-car household and no longer have a need for it.

I have kept the Mini in the best possible condition. The dash and interior have been treated regularly with leather treatment and Armor All.

There are small scratches on the front and rear bumpers, one shopping-cart style ding just behind the driver door, and a larger scratch just above the driver headlight. The back tail light cover was broken some time ago, but this is a cheap part replacement.

Otherwise the paint is in great condition. When I’ve parked it in direct sunlight I’ve used a car cover which I will also include.

The price is on the higher end of blue book because of additional options purchased new with the car, as well as the money I have put into the maintenance.

Maintenance:

- Tires are in good condition. Replaced 4 years ago.

- The power steering pump was was replaced 10k miles ago

- New battery

Added Options:

- Dual pane panoramic Sunroof

- Auxiliary input

- Trunk mat

- Trunk net

- Bonnet Stripes with S-lite coat

- Perma Plate Leatherguard

- Floormats

- 17” alloy wheels

I have all records and receipts of all repairs, parts, oil changes, smog checks, manuals, and even the original factory window sticker. .

This has been an excellent car and has many more miles to run!

Please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks.

Mini Countryman PHEV caught at electric watering hole

Fri, Jul 15 2016

Our spy photographers have once again found the next generation Mini Countryman out testing in the wild. This time, they caught it replenishing its thirst for electrons. Although we knew some sort of hybrid Countryman was coming, this confirms its existence and plug-in capabilities beyond any reasonable doubt. Like the rest of the Mini lineup, this new Countryman will be noticeably larger than its predecessor. It also appears to feature a larger, more aggressive grille and lower intake vents. Other than that, the car appears to be quite evolutionary in design. Our spy photographers expect the plug-in hybrid Countryman to debut in 2019 powered by a combination of the 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder and an electric motor. We have also predicted that the gasoline engine could power the front wheels while the electric motor (or motors) powers the rear wheels, which together could provide all-wheel-drive and 240 horsepower. Supply chain issues force stick-shift out of Mini lineup

Mon, May 2 2022

Mini has temporarily stopped building cars equipped with a manual transmission due to supply chain-related issues. The company decided to prioritize production of automatic vehicles, which outsell stick-shifted models by a wide margin, and the move might be permanent. "Current circumstances, including the war in Ukraine and semiconductor shortages, are causing supply chain restrictions across the global automotive industry. In order to secure maximum production output to meet increasing customer demand, our product offer needs to be simplified," a representative for the BMW-owned firm told British magazine Autocar. Mini added this is the best way to avoid delivery delays. Affected models include the two- and four-door variants of the Hardtop, the Convertible and the front-wheel-drive Cooper S Clubman. This isn't the first time that Mini goes automatic-only; it temporarily stopped importing stick-shifted cars in early 2019 due to calibration-related issues. While the manual quickly made a comeback, whether Mini will resume building cars with three pedals this time around is unclear. Similarly, what effects this decision will have on the American market (beyond the obvious lack of a manual transmission option) remains up in the air. There may be pricing implications. Adding a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to the 2022 Hardtop Cooper two-door cost $1,500, while the Cooper S model's automatic was priced at $1,750, so it's not unreasonable to assume that pricing will go up. Autoblog has contacted Mini to learn more about this decision, and we'll update this story if we hear back. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. Hands on with the 2016 Mini Clubman

Sat, Sep 12 2015

When the original Mini Clubman debuted, it was marketed as a bigger, more versatile version of the popular Hardtop. But over the years, the British brand's lineup has grown both in terms of vehicle size and number of models on offer, leaving the original car's formula by the wayside. There are now two five-door models, in the form of the Countryman and Hardtop, both of which offer more versatility than the four-and-a-half-door Clubman ever could. For 2016, Mini has transformed the Clubman, making it once again the brand's most versatile model. To familiarize ourselves with the new six-door model – yes, there really are six doors – ahead of the car's official debut in Frankfurt next week, Mini USA's product planning manager, Patrick McKenna, walked us through both the interior and exterior changes for the brand's newest model. As McKenna tells it, the BMW-owned company has gone to great lengths to make the Clubman more than just a long-wheelbase car with barn doors. There are changes both inside and out that not only serve to better distinguish this new model from the brand's other five-doors, but from anything else in Mini's lineup. Check out our chat with McKenna at the top of the page, and stay tuned for more Clubman news next week.
