2013 Mini Cooper Clubman John Cooper Works on 2040-cars
Bradenton, Florida, United States
This 2013 John Cooper Works edition is very loaded and has a stunning color combination both inside and outside. This vehicle is owned by a mature adult female, never smoked in and always garaged. This car has never been raced or abused in any way and has had 91 - 93 octane fuel in it every fill up. This cooper has had its 10,000 mile maintenance. This car was a special order for the regional manager of mini in Florida. We have never seen another like it, so if you are looking for that special one off car that no one else has this is it. Even though this car has been lovingly maintained and cared for, one should still expect minor scratch's or some imperfection. The only notable ones are a door ding about the size of a dime and a wheel scuff. We do have a lien on the car and once funds are in place to the lien holder and the funds clear, then the car will be released. We have sold a few cars over the years on Ebay and have never had a problem. One vehicle actually went all the way to Australia. This car has most features that are offered by Mini: Color pepper white, Leather lounge championship red, Mini connected with nav pack, Smartphone integration, Real time traffic information, Mini navigation, Premium package 1: Heated mirrors and washer jets, Chrome line interior, Auto dimming rear view mirror, Rain sensor and auto headlights, Automatic climate control, Technology package: Comfort access keyless entry, Satellite radio, Harmon/Kardon premium sound, Mini wired pack, Voice command, Mini visual boost, Enhanced BT and USB connection, Mini connected, Additional Package equipment, Anti theft alarm system, Power folding mirrors, Auto dimming mirrors, Park distance control rear, CO2 relevant vehicles, 17" alloy cross spoke black, Black headlight housings, Chili red roof and mirror caps, Center armrest, Color line rooster red, Interior surfaces pepper white, Interior mirror with compass, Xenon headlights, Combox controller, White turn signal lights, Black sport stripes, Black sport stripes roof. I have heard that this body style is going to be changed, which is unfortunate because this really is an awesome design. This car is located in Bradenton Fl 34209 and the buyer is responsible for transport of the car. I will assist in any way that I can. The mileage is subject to change. Thank you!

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. 2018 Mini Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 Drivers' Notes Review | Plug and play
Fri, Feb 16 2018The second-generation Mini Countryman debuted at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. In addition to the standard and S models, Mini added a new E Countryman plug-in hybrid model. That's what we have here, making our model's full name the Mini Cooper S E Countryman ALL4. It's distinguishable from other models by the green badges on the front and rear and on the charging port on the fender. There are a few changes inside, most notably a power gauge in place of the tachometer. The plug-in model combines a turbo inline-three cylinder engine with a 7.6-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The gas engine motivates the front wheels while two electric motors power the rear. Three drive modes — Max eDrive, Auto eDrive and Save — adjust the amount of battery pack usage, with Max using all battery and Save mode using the starter generator to keep the battery charge above 90 percent. The biggest Mini (for what that's worth) is still far smaller than nearly every other crossover in its class. It's three inches shorter than a Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class and four inches shy of an Audi Q3. As compact as it is, there's still a good bit of usable cargo space thanks to the wide hatch and flat-folding seats. Our tester rang up for exactly $40,000 and includes features like 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, Cooper S heated sport seats, a heads-up display and LED lighting. Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: The only thing I don't like about this electrified Mini is its name: Mini Cooper S E Countryman ALL 4. That's a mouthful. You'd probably just say you bought a plug-in electric Mini Countryman and roll from there. And why would you spend time overthinking the name? The driving dynamics are razor sharp. Launches from stoplights with the electric fortification are brisk. Not in a cliched "this V6 Camry feels brisk" sort of way, but in a 29-degree February morning where the dog is walking too slow kind of way. I give Mini and its parent, BMW Group, a lot of credit for having the foresight to invest in electrification, adding performance and efficiency in a manner that's true to the character of Mini. Then there's the traditional Mini goodness that shines through in the cornering and handling. I'm late for work. The light turns yellow. Am I stopping? Oh hell no. I'm not even slowing down. In this and all Minis, taking corners at full steam is expected.
2015 Mini Cooper stuns crowd, itself [w/videos]
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Remember the Mini Rocketman concept from 2011? While we were really, really hoping for a production version - a properly mini Mini - that never happened. And it won't. But what we are getting is a whole lot of that showcar's styling cues applied to the third-generation Mini Cooper hardtop, a model making its debut here at the LA Auto Show. And while from most angles, the new Mini is as cute as ever, we just can't quite warm up to that face - or that huge front overhang. The car simply looks like a frightened goldfish (that yellow paint isn't helping, either).
The car simply looks like a frightened goldfish (that yellow paint isn't helping, either).
It should probably be pretty nice to drive, though, with the base Cooper using a new turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine good for 134 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Friskier Cooper S models get a healthy power increase, their 2.0-liter turbo engines putting out a full 189 hp and 207 lb-ft, with both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
