Hello,
I am selling an Australian 1970 Morris Mini, 1100 K, maroon color, manual transmission, and it's a right hand drive vehicle. I've had this car for about a year and I was planning on putting in a Honda B series engine, but alas I don't have the time, and it's a shame that this car doesn't get the driving time it deserves. It has all the goodies of the 1275 Cooper S Here's the breakdown:
1970 right hand drive Morris Mini
Manual Transmission
60,*** original miles
About 45 MPG highway, and 38-40 City
It was top to bottom restored by the "mini guy" after it was imported from Australia
Front disk breaks
Twin gas tanks
Electric fuel pump
Mini stage 1 kit
Freeflow exhaust manifold
alloy inlet manifold,
performance exhaust system
K&N air filter
replacement carb needle
manifold and carburetor gasket
Super core 2 radiator
Dual air horn
New fuel sending unit (in tank)
1.5 Hif So carburetor
High output alternator
Trunk Battery Cut off.
Two 6 x 9 Alpine speakers
Sony CDX-6T360 MP (52W x 4)
Price is $15,000
These cars are known for rust problems, and this one is relatively clean, but on the drivers side quarter panel there is a quarter sized chip in the paint and unless it's taken care of it will eventually rust. There is also a little surface rust near the passenger side rain roof gutter. She has some minor scratches here and there, but it's an amazing ride where everyone asks what kind of car it is, or wants to get their picture taken with it. It's an amazing car and who ever gets is will be happy at the quality of the car. On a side note the guy I bought it from lived in Wyoming, so it rarely got used and they had a linkage on the car wrong, so the carburetor was limited to half throttle. About 30K of the miles placed on the car by the previous owner was under half throttle. The car has been tuned by Gram at Heritage Mini in Costa Mesa for the last year, and it comes with all the paperwork from the last two owners.
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to email me.

Mini celebrates racing success with John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013
Tue, 05 Mar 2013French drivers Stéphane Peterhansel and Jean-Paul Cottret drove a Mini Countryman to a class win at this year's Dakar Rally, and to commemorate their win, Mini has introduced a limited-volume car that will only be sold in France. The Mini John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 might be a mouthful to say, but it's a fitting tribute to Peterhansel's eleventh Dakar win as this Countryman is painted to look like the rally car and only 11 will be sold in the Peterhansel's home country.
Sporting a similar green-over-matte-black paint scheme as the Dakar Countryman, the JCW Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 also adds green accents to the full-length top and side stripes, the side marker lights and also contrasting stitching inside the cabin. Adding to the car's rally look, this special edition will also include the racers' number card on the front doors, Dakar decals on the front and rear and Peterhansel's signature on the hood. Grille-mounted rally lights, bright red brake calipers and unique 19-inch wheels with dark-painted inserts finish off the exterior design.
Mini USA will temporarily stop importing manual transmissions
Fri, May 24 2019Emissions certification woes strike again, this time at Mini. The U.S. arm of Blighty's iconic car company has had to temporarily put a stop to importing any models with manual transmissions beginning with July production, which is when BMW typically begins rolling the new model year down assembly lines. According to MotoringFile, calibration testing for the six-speed manual is taking longer than expected. The outlet guesses the interruption will conclude by September, because it has "seen these type of delays in the past and they've lasted from 1-4 months." It has queried the brand's head of communication, who said, "As much as we at MINI USA would like to have a definitive timeline, it would be too early to say." The spokesman did, however, say that Mini remains committed to the manual gearbox. That comes in contrast to Toyota's recent breakdown of manual take-rates across a range of vehicle types, Hyundai jettisoning the manual on the 2020 Elantra, and stalwart enthusiast rides like the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and Chevrolet Corvette leaving the stick-shift fold. Nevertheless, Mini's efforts feel, at best, like raging against the dying of the light, especially because the end of the MF report states, "the other big news is that Mini USA is also eliminating the manual option from some models all-together." MF isn't yet certain about which models are affected, though. Buyers stepping up during the row-your-own intermission will get a crack at the long awaited seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or a revised eight-speed automatic. The DCT will slide into the Cooper and Coooper S models, the traditional automatic makes a home in the 301-horsepower John Cooper Works Clubman and Countryman.
Mini reveals refreshed Paceman in Beijing
Sun, 20 Apr 2014It was just a few days ago that Mini unveiled its refreshed Countryman at the New York Auto Show, and now it has followed up with the revised version of that model's coupe counterpart, the Paceman. Revealed today at the Beijing Motor Show, the new Paceman adopts all the changes applied to the new Countryman - which is to say, not a whole lot, but maybe enough to keep it current for the masses of customers in the market for a three-door version of a vehicle that's bigger than its stablemates but smaller than most other crossovers.
Pictured here in Piano Black (one of three new shades on offer alongside Midnight Grey and the Jungle Green in which the new Countryman was featured), the mildly refreshed Paceman has, like its five-door counterpart, been so subtly updated that we can scarcely tell the difference... even after sorting through the press release below. There are some minor revisions to the exterior, the cabin features slightly updated equipment, and the Cooper S gets an extra few horsepower. And that's about all she wrote, folks.
Mini will offer the updated Paceman worldwide with a wide array of four-cylinder engine options. With no budget-oriented One model, the Cooper is the base model with a 122-horsepower version of the brand's ubiquitous 1.4-liter four and the John Cooper Works sits at the top of the range with 218 hp. The two diesel specs are present as well, and buyers cam choose (on most models) between front- and All4 all-wheel drive.
