You are bidding on a 1998 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS MONTIGUA EDITION, it is finished in Metallic Silver with a Green carriage Top.
It has done 28,500 miles from new and is in superb condition for its year, the photos have not been enhanced.
The Car is a FLORIDA CAR from new and I am the second owner, we really do not need three cars hence the sale.
The car ran perfectly well, however I ran it through a shop just in case there where any problems prior to selling it and it has had the following work carried out:- Two Front Power Window Door Regulators fitted, a Serpentine Belt Tensioner, Drive Belt Idler Pulley, Serpentine Belt, New Turn Signal'Hazard Lights Switch, New Trunk Seal, New Headliner & Oil Change.
The guy in the shop said a lot of this work had been caused by it not being run a lot, I guess the mileage endorses his comments
The car is in our Garage in Spring Hill Florida and will need collecting from there

Has the Mercury Marauder gotten better with age?
Fri, Oct 23 2015In the early 2000s Mercury desperately wanted to develop some edge for its brand – seemingly stuck between a quasi-premium, quasi-performance space in the Ford Universe. The Marauder is perhaps the most famous of the vehicles that resulted from those efforts, and is rapidly approaching Modern Classic status, today. Effectively a murdered out Grand Marquis with some updated trim pieces – what are company parts bins for, if not raiding? – the Marauder looked convincingly like a bad guy car. The 4.6-liter V8 under its hood that had been breathed on by engineers for a little more power, kicking out 302 horsepower and 318 pound-feet of torque from the factory. Not exactly Ferrari-baiting numbers, but it'd give your local cop's car a run for its money. Being a wild child of the last decade, of course our friends at MotorWeek had it on the program. What better way to test your mean-mugging muscle sedan than with John Davis' tanned and steady hands?

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
